I'm loving my time with the Switch 2. Everything about it is an upgrade from the original. The magnetic click for the joy cons is so satisfying, and popping them in and out of the console or any accessories is so much easier with the new mechanism. Mario Kart World is a blast to play with my family. I am also enjoying the free roam mode, it's relaxing to just cruise around with no real goal other than to see what's beyond the next horizon. I like that there are upgraded versions of classic switch games. Even non-upgraded games are greatly benefited from the beefier hardware, as load times that used to be significant are reduced by huge margins. Being able to use my legacy controllers with no real loss in functionality (other than losing access to the new social button) is really great because otherwise I'd probably be spending just as much as a new system to deck my family out in new gear just to play together.

Overall, it's a nice improvement from the original. The enlarged screen is nice, and the joycons feel much nicer. Unfortunately, setup was a pain, and having to switch out both the HDMI and the power source to make it work properly was annoying. The old ac adaptor wouldn't power it in the dock, and apparently, my old HDMI cord wasn't shielded enough and caused the joycon to disconnect every 15 seconds. Long story short, just save yourself the trouble and hook it up with everything that comes in the box.

The graphics are great. The downside is buying everything is so expensive online.

My daughter has been waiting for this and it has not disappointed. She has been playing with it almost nonstop. Liked having the Mario cart attached to the purchase.

So far the Switch 2 has exceeded my expectations. I held of on playing Tears of the Kingdom since it played so poorly on the original Switch, but after playing it on the Switch 2 I can safely say I made the right choice. Games run great and the added bonus of Mario Kart World for cheaper than retail is awesome. I can't wait to see what games come next!

I got he switch 2 on launch day and it was rough at first but now I think it's definitely worth it there are so many first and third party games to play, I find myself playing on my switch 2 more than my pc

Long time Nintendo lover. Have a switch 1 that I have played weekly since purchasing in 2016. The only bummer I think, so far, with switch 2 is the need for micro sd express. The cards are more expensive than regular mini sd. Other than that, it's awesome!

My son loves it! He upgraded to this from the original switch and loves that is has faster download speed and bigger device.

Enjoy the product. The game is easy to navigate and maneuver. Five to six players have access to this game.

Great product, but the battery life is not good at all. So much better than the original switch in terms of performance though.

I love how they have upgraded the screen size as well as how the controller just clicks into place…Can’t wait for my son to play with it on Christmas

If you already own a Switch, I’d recommend waiting. There aren’t enough new exclusives yet to justify the upgrade, and most of the games you’ll be playing are carried over from the original Switch. There are only a couple of new titles, so it doesn’t really offer a fresh experience. It’s essentially the same console with some quality-of-life improvements and slightly better performance, which is expected and not necessarily disappointing—but it doesn’t feel new. If you’ve never owned a Switch before, it’s a great option. If you already have or had one, it’s okay, just not worth the price yet in my opinion. The cost of new games is also ridiculous, and having to pay for voice chat such a basic feature feels unreasonable. And if you’re into hacking, don’t even bother.

I had the previous switch oiled model and still thought it looked better visually but the bigger screen is a bonus and the upgraded hardware is definitely noticeable socially on some original switch 1 games.

After a long while, and a delay from BestBuy themselves, I was finally able to play on the console! It has been amazing, no issues so far. Love how easy it was to transfer my games, data, and profile from the first switch to the Switch 2.

The console is outstanding overall and new exclusives like DK Bonanza and Mario Kart World along with Switch 2 edition games are amazing. However, the lack of new and upcoming exclusives makes it more difficult to justify for those who already own the original Switch.

Absolutely love the switch too. Graphics are so much better gameplay is way smoother and loading times are next to nothing.

The nintendo is wonderful, my nephew liced having the more updated version due to its screen quality.

I bought the Nintendo Switch for my six-year-old, and it has quickly become one of the best family purchases we’ve made. The system is incredibly easy for kids to use, and the flexibility of switching between handheld mode and TV mode is a huge plus. My child can play on the go, in the car, or dock it to the TV for a bigger-screen experience.
