Everyone we wanted in the switch 1 upgrade - graphics, material quality, better screen, and nicer form factor. We got it all

The Switch 2 has improved upon every aspect of the original, of course the OLED has a great screen, but for the low power draw and vibrancy, it’s one of the best for the size. I’ve put probably a hundred or two hours into this since launch, and can confirm that it will stay a staple of my gaming for years. I used to use my PC every day, now it’s mainly me on the couch using the switch 2 and maybe every other day with the PC.

The Nintendo switch 2 is a big upgrade to my Nintendo switch 1 I can now play games so much smoother now is everything is bigger too would recommend to any Nintendo switch fan and the extra storage is great also.

Great upgrade from the original Switch. Performance is smoother, load times are faster, and graphics look noticeably better. Still just as versatile in handheld or docked mode, and setup was quick and easy. Very happy with it so far.

The switch 2 is absolutely amazing. I was very apprehensive about purchasing a switch 2 until I played a couple different games on my daughters. I went directly to BB and purchased one. Now we all (the entire family 8 of us) all have game night and it is hilarious. They live in various parts of the U.S. and we all go online and have a great time. Rather than sitting in front of the TV watching mind numbing shows we have all seen 100 times before, get a switch 2 and enhance your mind and quicken your mental response. Trust me I am 68 and I still kick my young familys butt in some games....

I’ll start with the high definition resolution which makes older games feel like new again. Specifically Zelda BOTW and Zelda TOTK. It also has quicker loading/refresh rate times. The controllers are larger and have a new magnetic snap to lock vs the slide to lock, making them easier to remove and charge. I purchased the Bundle with the new Mario Kart World and have tons of fun with family and friends! Now just waiting in new games to come out hopefully for the holidays. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Obviously, this is $450 but once you get over that, it's just everything you loved about the switch polished and upgraded in everyway. The UI is silky smooth, as is the eShop experience. It feels like how the original wanted to be but didn't have the horsepower to do it well. Upgraded games like Super Mario Odyssey look absolutely incredible and move at 60 FPS, no sweat. The build quality is miles better, the joycons so far with no drift and the magnetic clasps are amazing. No more lining up the pins just right to get the joycons to slot correctly. Screen is beautiful, large and colorful. I'm so excited to have this in my hands.

I bought the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle for my 13-year-old son, and it’s been a great purchase so far. He was super excited the moment we opened it, and Mario Kart kept him hooked for the first couple of weeks. Like most kids, he eventually moved on to another game (Donkey Kong), but he still comes back to Mario Kart here and there. What we’ve enjoyed the most is playing it at home on the TV. Being able to do two players at the same time makes it way more fun, and it’s honestly turned into a nice little family thing. He’s having a blast, and we’ve been enjoying playing with him too.

Good quality good games excellent mobility perfect gift

I came to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 for my little brother. I didn’t bother to check online if they had it in store however when I entered the store they had it in stock. Purchase and everything went great at the front. The device and the games all work perfectly fine haven’t had any issues! Definitely recommend this for Christmas.

Great upgrade from the switch oled. I own all three models of the switch and the switch 2 is the one I have been using often. The graphic for the switch 2 have been amazing however the only issue is the battery I do find myself charging it sooner than my oled.

I preordered this first day it was available and had it delivered. Best buy let me down because it was 3 days after launch that I finally received it. Quite disappointing to have been the first to pre-order it and then have to wait several days to get it. Note for the future, don't have pre-orders delivered. I figured a day late max. For me personally, The switch 2 hasn't wowed me since upgrading from the switch 1. I buy every console. I have the playstation 5 and xbox series x as well. Is it fun? Yeah. Does it excite me like when I first got every other next gen console in the past? No. Do I crave playing it? No. The graphics are not that much better to me. For the price honestly I expect more. I have mario kart world, donkey kong bananza, and zelda breath of the wild. They are all okay games to me. The controllers seem good. I like the new joy cons and how they attach. This is buy far the most exciting thing Nintendo did. Other than that, evertyhing else is the same to me.

The whole system is a great upgrade from previous. magnetic controllers as opposed to snapping makes a gigantic difference. now can use camera for some games too

Who doesn't know Nintendo? I've played almost every console the brand has released. The Nintendo Switch was a brilliant innovation because you can have a portable game in your hands or play with your family at home. I was waiting for the new Switch 2 and eager to see the improvements it would bring compared to the previous one, and I have to say there's a lot to praise about this new console. The price is around $500 or more in almost all stores, but as a Total Tech member at Best Buy, I was able to save $50, something I wouldn't have found anywhere else. I highly recommend it; it's the perfect console for playing alone or with family, and its portability makes it fantastic.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is an absolute triumph! From the moment I powered it on, I was blown away by the vibrant display, improved performance, and incredibly comfortable Joy-Cons. The games look stunning, load times are snappy, and the overall experience feels polished and premium. Nintendo has truly outdone themselves with the enhancements to both handheld and docked modes. If you're a fan of Nintendo or looking for a versatile gaming experience, you absolutely need this console. My only minor quibble, and it's a small one, is the continued absence of Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube Classics app. It's such a beloved title, and it would be the perfect addition to an already fantastic library. Despite that tiny wish, the Switch 2 is easily my favorite console. Highly, highly recommend!

What a great machine! This is such an awesome way to play your games. I owned a switch og and eventually sold it because i wasnt happy with the way the games had started to look. Then i see the switch 2, and was so excited to finally play a worthy successor to the og switch. Buying it was so easy, and using zip to make the payments was awesome. So if you dont have all the money up front you can try to set up payments through a company like zip. It was paid off after 2 months and reflects good when you might wanna use zip again. The switch 2 is such an awesome console and i have to pinch myself sometimes as im playing these games that look like theyre being played on a ps5!

Great system and replacement for my gen 1 switch. Games run so much smoother and graphics have a decent jump from before. Wish battery life was longer but keeping a portable charger handy helps.

We got this to play the new Mario Kart and it didn't disappoint. It really is a switch 2, with backwards compatibility (was easy to transfer my digital game library over). Feels and looks better than the OG switch. Like everything about it except the dock. They've made it so you have to use it to hook up to a TV. With the old Switch you could use a powered USB-C to HDMI dongle, which was sooooo much better for travel. If you need a switch, get this, not the switch 1, you'll be sad you won't be able to play the latest and greatest.
