Not worth 450-500 by a long shot but I used gift cards accumulated through my employer. A solid performing and well bullt console. Cant wait to see what games come out to really push this hardware. Solid build quality. The screen and battery life are excellent. Sound is acceptable for a handheld. It annoys me that we have to buy upgrade packs to take advantage of the better performace on games already owned. As a PC gamer this feels like being robbed tbh. For this reason the switch 2 gets 4 stars. If it goes on sale or some amazing exlusive pops up (cough cough FROMSOFT) go for it. Otherwise its just not worth the money right now.

My kid loves it. He especially loves the handheld option where he can travel with it.

Improves over the original in every way! Tears of the kingdom in 4k is absolutely stunning. The new joy-cons are great. They snap into place with magnets and can be used as a mouse! Nintendo has outdone themselves again! Would buy again in a heat beat.

I think this is a great console! I'm really excited to play future Nintendo games with this upgraded console. If you are not sure about the console, please save your money and wait. However, do know that this bundle will stop being produced by Fall/Autumn meaning you will have to spend $80+ for Mario Kart World ( as opposed to $50 through this bundle, though it is a digital copy).

If you have the original switch and on the fence then dont be, yes this does and plays the majority of what the og does but improves almost every game in load time or smoothness of gameplay making this the perfect upgrade instead of starting all over with a new livrary of games you can continue to enjoy whats out now and look gorward to what will come out in the future.

Loving the nintendo switch 2 so far but my minor complaint is the battery life on the system.

Improved CPU and graphics really make this console a great upgrade from the OLED Switch. I really like how the controller attaches magnetically attaches to the main console. I really appreciate that most controllers from the prior generation is compatible with this one, just wished that I could use the older memory cards. While the battery life seems to be less, it’s expected for a more powerful system. Overall, this is another great console from Nintendo.

Great console, upgraded from OLED and loving it, I use it significantly more than I did the original. Joy cons have great battery life. Also purchased the new pro controller with it and enjoy it very much as well.

Great graphics and system. Definitely recommend buying assessor’s for it as well.

We love our new switch 2. It does feel like a big upgrade from the switch 1 while docked. Having 60fps 4K is a huge leap and makes games feel transformative and fluid. In handheld mode you can definitely feel and see the issue that they didn’t use as high quality of an LCD screen, but this is a non issue for us because we leave it docked.

The best game console for father and son time. My child is 7, I don’t want him playing any games with too much violence. Switch2 has all the entertaining games such as Mario kart and donkey Kong. We had a blast every time we team up against all the other teams racing. It gets him engaged and learn to share.

Christmas gift for my son, Santa really outdid himself this year! lol This console is excellent, highly recommended.

Love it. Great experience at the midnight opening on launch night. Staff was friendly and helpful making for a great atmosphere for those waiting in line to be the first to get out hands on this new system. System plays great, Mario Kart World is fun but the real system seller for me is DK Bananza.

I like that it has a big screen and removable remote controllers. but the battery doesn't last like I thought I would

Bought this for my son and his family for Christmas and they love it! All 4 of them can play together!

The switch 2 feels very premium and has a good weight and battery life. The games looks crisp on the new bigger screen. The bigger joycons make it easier to hold for bigger hands. The new Mario kart is great and I love that it has a free roam mode. I can’t wait until the new donkey kong game comes out. I think it is a great upgrade and I’m glad I was and am an early adopter.

I was disappointed that the game didn't come as a paper code or in a box of its own; it's installed on the console itself, so DON'T buy the bundle if you're planning on selling the game! But other than that, I'm looking forward to playing Switch 1 games with better performance; these are the kind of specs I'm looking for in a handheld system like this. I will say the Joycons feel a bit wobbly when they're on the sides, but they're definitely secure. Don't really think the mouse functionality is useful but it's a neat gimic. I just hope there's no stick drift over time with the controllers... but we'll see.

I had the previous switch oiled model and still thought it looked better visually but the bigger screen is a bonus and the upgraded hardware is definitely noticeable socially on some original switch 1 games.
