It is an upgraded switch. At least as of now, there is not much to get on this system specifically. I played a bit of the new Mario Kart, but was kind of a bore compared to 8. The system lacks full game releases (i.e. keycards and game codes in box) which is just waste of plastics. But if it is your first switch, it does have near full backwards compatibility and is much more future ready than its predecessor. Once more games come out that utilize the full capability, I am sure it will be worth it then. Other than that, the eShop actually functions now.

Switch 2 is a big upgrade from the original. Better visuals and framerate make for a worth upgrade and with the new exclusive games you will enjoy owning the new console especially the new Mario Kart bundled with it!

As an early purchaser of this new system, the Switch 2 still has a lot of growth and necessary updates to become greater. Time and patience is all we and the system needs. Other than that, a much better improvement over the older Switch models and more powerful.

This is a nice upgrade from the original. The graphics are crisper and the games so far load and re-load faster than the original. So far, very happy with the purchase.

This switch is hands down better than the OG switch. But the price is a bit much Nintendo is getting up there with the competitors charging to much.

Love the system picked it up on release night and I have been playing it ever since. With donkey Kong out now there is a great 1 player switch 2 game. Runs breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom like a dream. Mario kart is my wife's favorite game and I play it with her. It is decently fun

Absolutly amazing , big upgrade from the NS1 oled , and the best part is that the zeldas you can get the upgraded version for free on the NS2

Both Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza are wonderful games. The updated versions of many of best Nintendo Switch 1 games are a nice bonus. The screen is a big step up from my S1 (non-OLED) too.

Really nice upgrade over the original Switch. I know some people are calling this a Switch Pro instead of a Switch 2, but so what? That's totally what I wanted from a second generation device. This is sleek, everything is well thought out, and my original Switch games still work on it. Solid upgrade and 120fps HDR looks really nice.

This new Switch is a powerhouse. Not only does it play Switch 2 exclusives, but it plays essentially any Original Switch game better than before. The price is steep, but for everything you get, it is absolutely fairly priced. I'm excited for many years of gaming fun.

By now you know you're getting a Switch 2 and going to like it. I'm here to tell you my experience with Best Buy. I bought the Mario Kart World bundle for my son, but he wasn't getting it right away. He finally got it after a month and a half, so I'm well past the return date. After opening it we discovered the code for Mario Kart was missing. We went to the store to see what could be done. After explaining the situation to the employee, he searched their inventory. With no bundles in stock to do an exchange he grabbed a physical copy of the game and gave it to us. He made the situation right for my son. I've bought a lot of stuff from BB and never had an issue and this experience has reinforced my faith with them.

I didn’t own the original switch but this is a very good console to me. I’m enjoying playing the original switch classics in high quality, I also enjoy the switch two exclusive games, I just wish they had more of them, or more enhanced games.

Definitely feels and plays better than the original Switch. Plus all of the original controllers can be played with the Switch2

By far this is the best switch we have owned. The ability to use the handles as separate controllers for 2 players is awesome

Exellent, Fast booting, Ergonomics are awesome, plays really well, looks good. Just check the ns2 when docket might feel hot while charging. Other than that is good. The memory gets full quick so get sd cards for the new games with more data and better performance.

The Switch 2 offers everything that worked in the original Switch but with updated hardware. There was a seamless transition between consoles, and it's refreshed while feeling and looking familiar in that way we've grown accustomed to over the past 8 years. I'm happy I bought when I did but can understand why you may wait until there are Switch 2 specific mainstream titles that you want to play before upgrading. I look forward to another 8+ years of faithful service from this hardware!

Worth it. battery isn’t great, but that’s the only major flaw. I usually don’t game for hours in handheld mode, so it’s not a big deal. P.s. DONKEY KONG!

I purchased the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Bundle Pack for my nephew, and he absolutely loves it! The system feels faster and smoother than the original Switch, and the upgraded display really makes the colors pop—especially in the Mario game that comes with the bundle. The package is a great value, and it’s perfect for both kids and longtime Nintendo fans. Seeing how excited my nephew gets every time he plays makes it totally worth it. Highly recommended!
