Best Buy made the buying process easy with online ordering and same-day pickup. The staff was helpful, and the packaging was pristine. I also appreciate the expanded internal storage (256GB!), which means I can finally download more games without immediately needing a microSD card. Backward compatibility with my old Switch games is a huge plus.

Really good upgrade from previous generation. Larger and better screen provide better on the go gaming experience. Zelda’s are better. Only issue is the battery life - 2 hrs max for me (sad face).

The price is a bit of a tough pill to swallow. However, after using it for a few days, this is a premium console/handheld for the price. The display is fantastic. The updated joy cons feel so much better. It's beefier but not in an uncomfortable way. It feels "just right". Now, looking past the hardware, I would not recommend this to someone on a fixed budget. Sure, you can use original joy cons with it but you'll soon find out, they won't be able to play all the mini games on Mario Party. And annoyingly, Mario Party locks out Mouse AND Motion mini games, without the Joy Con 2's. That's 99 dollars to get two more joy cons(L+R), but you don't get a joy con grip which is absolutely ridiculous. The grip with a charger is another 39 dollars for the branded model. You can buy just a left or right for 50. But now you gotta figure out how you're gonna charge the additional joy cons. There's third party charging stands that are a little cheaper. Oh, thinking about getting an additional dock... 130 dollars for it. And you can't use just any USB charger on the dock, it must be the Nintendo branded as there's a chip inside both the charger and the dock that must communicate with each other. Honestly, this is Apple tier BS. If you wanna bring great gaming and hardware to the masses, don't price out a significant amount of your base. The other problem I have is the eshop is not the value proposition such as a PC store front. When games are costing up to 18% of the console price, it's hard to recommend to a family who might be on a tight budget. It's going to be difficult for Nintendo to compete in a handheld market that is now fully over saturated with premium handhelds that have access to cheaper PC store fronts. Overall, can't recommend. Unless your kid is specifically asking for Nintendo exclusive games, your money would be better spent on a pc handheld with access to cheap libraries. You can get so much more for the same cost and your kid will have more games than they'll know what to do with. Or get this, two joy cons, and 3 first party titles and you'll be into this thing for 800+ dollars.

First time owning a switch console and it's tons of fun. The screen is a great size, the quality of gameplay is amazing, there's lots of different games to browse through. Donkey Kong country tropical freeze is my favorite game so far, reminds me of the old school donkey kong country games I used to play on super Nintendo. I also purchased a screen protector & a 2 year warranty plan to ensure the safety of my switch 2 console. I also bought a great Pikachu switch 2 case from Best Buy, the best case I've ever bought for a handheld game.

Updated e shop runs smooth. Battery life is not the best. Other than that the console works well.

Although the switch 2 library is limited I'm more concerned about the performance of the console. It's quick to load screens that took forever on the switch OLED. Games from the original switch play like a dream with the increased performance upgrades. Switch 2 games look incredible in docked mode but seem to struggled at times undocked.

I came from a Nintendo switch one and the difference are huge, bigger display, better graphics, super smooth, good battery life, the materials don’t feel so premium but is not bad either, the new cooling system with the built in fan makes a big improvement on heavy gaming. Now you can play in tv up to 4K 120fps. The new Mario kart game feels really smooth and the graphics look great

Everything feels sturdy made from high quality material. The magnetic joycons are awesome and just snap right into place. The screen and joycons are much bigger (and the screens quality is a big upgrade). Overall it feels like Nintendo did exactly what they needed to make this new version of console perfected!

I didn't pre-order since I wasn't sure if it was worth upgrading to, but since I only otherwise game on PC, the Switch 2 has been perfect for me. Despite being larger than the Switch 1, it is surprisingly nice to bring out and about, either at lunch with friends, during work breaks, or when disassociating on the front porch. Though if you do decide to buy the Switch 2, definitely consider getting extra storage for it.

Amazing! Looks as great as bigger consoles and is portable, so I can play Mario Kart and Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection wherever I go! Highly recommended for everyone!

When I pre ordered my Nintendo Switch 2, I felt every bit as happy and joyful as I did when I was a kid in the early 90s swith my SNES. The systembalong with the included Mario Kart World game was alot better than I dreamed of. I've been waiting for the new Mario Kart game for years, and this long wait was totally worth it. I am very pleased with my purchase. I never owned the Switch 1 but I know that the Switch 2 is better than the Switch 1 in every way. I purchased the Mario Kart World bundle and it’s been very fun. I’m looking forward to Donkey Kong Bananaza next month! I love the Switch 2! The pro controller for the Switch 2 is amazing as well.

Great console. My has a problem running Switch 2 games without overheating but I honestly don't even mind that. I just put a fan on it and it stays cool.

The switch two is a great upgrade to the original switch. I do recommend getting a screen protector, but the performance has been very good and looks great on the TV in HDR.

I have enjoyed my new nintendo switch console since the day I bought it in store. I was second in line to buy it at the midnight premiere and haven’t regretted it since. The joy con controllers are absolutely much better then the OG. I havent had an issue since. I recommend buying the new switch 2!

The product came on time and in great condition. Online purchases through Best Buy are the easiest way to reliably obtain any technology needed. Availability for devices such as the Nintendo Switch 2 are very low at launch, so I was very pleasantly surprised with their great service! Would work with again and again! Additionally, inside the physical store, I was amazed at how many copies of the game cards and other accessories they had available as well. Whenever I walk into the store it makes me feel like a little kid looking through all the fascinating keyboards, TVs, and even washer and dryers. I value their exchange program as well because I was able to get a guaranteed offer on my Switch 1 which was very convenient. Compared to other stores in my area, Best Buy has to be the best way to find computer related products I have seen. My store in Allen, TX specifically had very kind workers as well which were a huge help to me deciding to purchase this product in the first place. I was awaitng for this for quite some time. There's a lot of improvements over the Switch one, such as a bigger LCD screen, faster CPU which makes Switch 1 games load faster. Finally in 4K, I was Mario Kart world as a bundle, it is fun and amazing for any family member to jump in and play. Would highly recommend for anyone to make the upgrade or getting a Nintendo product for the first time.

The OLED display offers a premium feel, with numerous improvements, especially for tech-savvy individuals like myself. Navigating menus is incredibly snappy, and download speeds are significantly faster. Games look and run exceptionally well, smoother than ever before. The first impressions are very promising.

Very nice upgrade from the Switch 1. The finish is a lot nicer, games like Tears of the Kingdom run better, and the magnet system is better than the old rail system. The magnets don't feel loose at all.
