Unless you're a big fan of Mario Kart, wait for more games. The launch games are light and there's no big game like a 3d mario or Zelda just $10 upgrades for the old games.

Meh, boring. I got Mario Kart World on this, played for about 4 hours, and now it collects dust. Nintendo's move to use "Game key cards" which are glorified codes to redeem Nintendo online downloads, is a terrible move. Nintendo seems to be leading the charge to the dystopian world where you'll own nothing. Would've expected Microsoft to do it first. It's also substantially less powerful than a PS4 pro, but nobody should be expecting "power" from a Nintendo product. They're the Apple of the gaming world. Every single console that has a third party game that is also on the Switch 2, plays better on those other consoles. This includes cell phones. Nintendo also hasn't added achievements. They've finally added usernames for online though, instead of "friend codes". How Nintendo manages to provide a worse experience than the Sega Dreamcast for online play truly baffles me. Oh yeah, Nintendo still hasn't added Hall Effects to their controllers, so expect stick drift later. But this is no different than Microsoft or Sony. Weird that the Dreamcast had hall effects on their controllers and they still work just fine, 20 years later. The price doesn't justify the product. Instead of being a loss leader to sell software, they make a substantial profit on these things. That tells me they don't have much faith in their games.

I wouldnt say fair as most games are not compatible for the "performance boost" you get from this console. Evem when you do play a game with 120HZ and performance mode activated it runs like a potato. Id say better than a ps4 for sure but for what it is worth and how much the games are its UNBELIEVABLE.

Decent but there’s not a lot of new games. I enjoyed using it but I would recommend waiting another year or 2 for more games to come out. Also expensive lol

The switch works great in single player and co-op but if you play local 4 player games like mario kart world be prepared for alot of lag. The switch one is better than the switch 2 for 4 player games. The material used to make the docking station is weak as well. Dont put much pressure against it or you’ll break it. Not as fragile as eggs but it is compared to other gaming consoles.

I ordered a Nintendo Switch 2 to be delivered. The first delivery attempt failed to deliver. I called asking for it to be changed to store pickup and was giving a day to pickup up a replacement in store. The next day, a very light package that clearly did not contain a gaming system was delivered without my signature. It contained a dirty rag and a small car part. I called immediately to customer service and said I can just get the store pickup the next day. The next day, the store pickup was cancelled by the "backdoor financial customer service" team (as the customer service people called them) hours before I was going to pick it up. When I called customer service, they said I requested this cancellation, which I did not. I was told they can put in a request for a refund but the "back team" has to process the request in 48-72 hours. Two days later, I got a email from customer service saying I would get a refund but must send in the item. I sent the item to Best Buy warehouse. Customer service sent an email saying they would process they would check the item within 7-10 business days and process a refund 7-10 business days after that which I would receive in my bank 7-10 business days after that. 10 days later, I received the item back with no notification. I emailed back to customer service saying I never got a refund and explained i never got an item to begin with (getting no response). I called customer service, and the representative said he could put in a request for a refund and the "financial team" will process this in 48-72 hours. I said we already tried this and asked for a manager. I was directed to Geek squad, and the "manager" said it was my first request for a refund, which is untrue. She said the refund will be responded to by the "financial team" in 48-72 hours. It has been 3 full business days, and customer service has yet to respond to the request. It's now been exactly a month since I placed my order, and I have neither been given a Switch 2 or a refund. The system for customer service is poorly designed, and the customer service team constantly misread, doesn't comply with, or straight up ignores request

Well made game console, but it's not the best when it comes to value for money. As a hand held console it's still a good product.

The console barely has any games for it, the battery life is awful, joycon drift is still a thing, and is marginally stronger than the original switch. Its a fine device but the fact that nintendo has the ability to completely render it useless if you do anything they dont like, is very scummy and childish of a billion dollar game company.

The Nintendo Switch 2 might be a technical leap forward, but it’s shackled by one of the most anti-consumer EULAs in modern gaming. If you believe in the simple idea that you should own what you pay for, this isn’t just disappointing—it’s offensive. Nintendo wants all the benefits of you buying the hardware, while retaining all the control as if you hadn’t. For a company that built its legacy on giving players joy, it’s deeply ironic that this console feels more like a lease than a celebration of gaming freedom. Rating: 4/10 – Buy at your own legal risk.
