Nintendo outdid themselves with the Switch 2. The upgraded games play a lot more smoother and in 4k / HD than the original Switch 1 games. Mario Kart World is a great game and so glad it was included

The switch 2 is the upgrade the original Nintendo Switch needed. It improves on pretty much everything from the original. From the storage space over doubling in size, as well as the actual size of the console and controllers increasing. The performance gets just as big as of upgrade. Bigger and better is the best way to describe the Nintendo Switch 2. Totally satisfied.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. The system is as intuitive as the first and the upgrades take it up a notch. I'm upgrading from the original Switch, and the improved display shines. Its 1080p, 120hz display is much improved over the original console's 720p, 60hz screen. Video is buttery smooth and the colors really pop at 98% DCI-P3. It feels heftier than the original and rightly so with its increased processing and graphics power. Getting Mario Kart with the console for $30 less than getting it separately was great, too. I'm disappointed in the quality of the Joycon straps that come with this one (empty rubber shell vs. the solid plastic of the original) but that's hardly a deal breaker. I highly recommend the Switch 2. It's great for 1 person or the whole family

Wasn't going to upgrade because we already have both Switch and Switch OLED, but the games feel much smoother, the design is better (hated old kickstand). Christmas gift was just the excuse to purchase. Remember that your old controllers still work, they just can't physically slide on so you have to charge separately. You also need to get a new case as the size is significantly different. Don't expect old Dock to work, and you should also switch out HDMI cord if still using old one.

was looking for something to do while I travel. was recommended to me by a few people. Could not have been a better buy. Not only can I play but someone can play with me. Was a great buy! Not only is it small for traveling but can connect to a tv too!!

I’ll be honest, with Mario Kart World included, I’m not sure it’s worth $500. If you got the upgreades for the two Zelda games, yes the look better and run smoother, but they weren’t unplayable on the Switch. I still occasionally break out Breath of the Wild just to get closer to 100% on my Wii U and that still does just fine, so the app still makes the hardware. I’m still waiting to see how the new features work in games like Mario Party Jamboree that take advantage of the mouse and camera. I don’t play Nintendo games online, so Game Chat is a useless feature that I feel Nintendo leined way too heavily on for the launch of this console. Game Cube on the Switch 2, cool, I guess. If im going to play Game Cube games I’ll play on my actual Game Cube, or Wii, or Wii U. They didn’t even include the best games to play on the sustem at launch. In conclusion, do you need a Switch 2? No. As of right now I’d say it’s only for the die hard Nintendo fans that have always purchased Nintendo hardware. 3 weeks after launch and I still find myself playing on PC or my PS5 more than the Switch 2.

My original Nintendo switch was on its last legs when the Nintendo Switch 2 was announced, so I was in obvious need of an upgrade. The original Nintendo switch struggled handling games such as Pokemon SV and Legends Arceus. The performance thankfully improved for the Nintendo Switch 2. I no longer saw flying Pokemon animation frame by frame. Additionally, this bundle came with Mario Kart World which was a plus. I recommend upgrading to the Nintendo Switch 2 if your switch is at the end of its life, or you’re looking for upgraded graphics.

I’ve been wanting a Switch 2 since it came out. I finally got one and it’s great. The screen is larger and gameplay is smooth. My connection is so much better when I play online. There’s no lag or break in-between plays while playing. This purchase was the upgrade I needed to enjoy some downtime.

Same as always the purchsing experince was amazing instant help when i walked in in and out in 10 min and i set up a credit card

The Nintendo switch 2 is an amazing gaming console. I love the big screen and new joy cons. I’ve always had issues with the old joy cons as the knobs seem to go bad quickly. I also love the new features on this system including the chat option. It makes online play more fun. I also appreciate that if you have the original game that was for the switch you can upgrade the game for the switch 2 for a cheaper price. Overall loving this system. It is a great update.

Ive had my switch 1 since about 2016 or 2017 and it was really starting to slow down in some aspects. The fan would kick on trying run any persona game. Ive had my switch 2 for about a month now and it works beautifully! Ive been a fan of nintendo products since me and my dad would play mario on his gamecube so im glad the switch 2 isnt bad like everyone said it would be.

I bought the switch 2 for my daughter and she loves it! The screen is huge and bright. Fantastic resolution! The games are super fun. No issues at all!!

Console arrived quickly and was easy to set up. Great device that’s going to provide many years of memories with family and friends! The library for switch 2 games isn’t big as of this review(9/12/25)but it’s very early in its life cycle and I’m willing to bet it’s going to have many amazing titles. 5/5 and I would absolutely recommend this console to anyone of any age!

It’s an improvement on most everything from the original Switch - bigger screen, more storage, tightened up graphics, bigger joycons!

This console did not disappoint. The performance compared to that of the original Switch is highly noticeable, and you can finally enjoy vibrant visuals at a high frame rate. Obviously graphics will be game dependent, but it is great to finally have the capability to support higher level visuals.

Switch two is nice Nintendo is going to do an update in January that will give more resolution to the screen because the OLED has a better screen. But still nice.

The Nintendo Switch 2 takes everything great about the original system and elevates it. The hybrid console experience is smoother, faster, and more immersive than ever — whether I’m playing docked on the TV or handheld on the go, it feels seamless and powerful.

Nintendo has always been a fan favorite in our household. We were so happy to finally get our hands on the newest system the Switch 2. Mario Kart World is nothing short of amazing and can't wait to see the other games coming out dor this system.
