I got the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle for my son, and he absolutely loves it! He’s been having so much fun playing, and he’s so happy with it. The console is easy to use, and the game keeps him entertained for hours. I’m so glad I got this for him it was the perfect gift!

We purchased two Mario cart Nintendo switch two for the twin grandkids and they both love them especially my daughter since she has the power to put a time limit for the boys to play.

There’s a lot of people hating on the switch 2, I feel like we got what we asked for, a switch upgrade with better graphics and faster load times. Absolutely no complaints from me, still have the old switch for trips and stuff, but i definitely am loving the switch 2. I’m mostly a docked TV gamer but it looks great in hand held as well, love it !!

Switch but bigger with more stuff. The new sized controllers are nice compared to the original switch joy cons. And they finally added the Ethernet port into the dock.

Should probably be 3 stars but I’ll give it 4 because I never had the original Switch. Not sure this is worth it for people who have Switch 1. It should really be called a Switch Pro since it is essentially the same console as the previous model with some marginal upgrades. It now has the power of a PS4 so I guess that’s good. Overall it’s fun, and nice for kids but I’m finding the game selection to be pretty bad and basically right now we just have a bunch of Switch 1 titles along with the new Mario Kart. This console is very underwhelming and they took streaming apps away. Unreal. Nintendo has gone downhill. I also don’t like joy cons. They charge $100 for those things WITHOUT the connector dock. You have to spend so much for accessories. I prefer the pro controller but it’s also like $90. How that controller costs more than a dualsense is mind boggling.one more negative that in handheld mode the thing is just too heavy. That’s coming from an adult. For a kid it’s just too much to hold. My kids use it more on the tv or tabletop.

Major update from the original switch. Larger screen is a massive upgrade that makes everything look better. The battery life could be better though with most games only lasting 2 hours.

The larger screen and smooth display makes for a big improvement over the OLED version. Very happy with my purchase and now it's time to get more Switch 2 specific games

The upgrades to the hardware and the larger size make for a great on the go handheld and some pretty graphics on the big screen.

Using the nintendo switch 2 as my first console from nintendo was amazing it runs most games on thier e store amazingly. Would recommend over the lite and oled models as its components will run new and older games better.

So much is missing in the retail environment. Not one of your employees seem to care. Workin the customer experience…very little help with buying more to enjoy the product. Yes I pre bought on line, but why not upsell? Not one persons tried. It was here ya go. No wonder people buy from Amazon. I’ve spent thousands over years with your company. And now it’s just a “robot experience”! Can’t say bad about the best. But it definitely lacks on what what Best Buy should mean. I can spend my $ anywhere. But “Best Buy” is boring buy! Get it?

Awesome! Plays all my old Switch games and many of them are performing even better now! Bigger, brighter screen, better controllers! All around win! My kids LOVE the new Mario Cart as well. A great bundle!

Switch 2 is an amazing handheld that surpasses the original in every aspect.

It’s such a sleek console. I do think that it is more like a “Switch Pro” than a Switch 2. Giving it five stars still because the games run extremely smoothly and the upgraded Joycon design is so much better. The kickstand feels more robust, and the addition of a charging port on the topside was a no brainer upgrade as well. Overall very satisfied.

An excellent successor to a pioneer of a handheld console. Everything about it feels upgraded. The upgrade to game performance/quality is expected and varies, but overall, great. Connecting/disconnecting the joycons has never been more satisfying and easy.

The kids love this system! Doesnt take up a lot of space and so nice that it is portable!

I've been using the Nintendo Switch 2 for a few weeks now, and it's a major improvement over the original. The OLED screen is stunning—colors are vibrant, and it’s noticeably brighter, which makes a big difference in handheld mode. The performance boost is real: games load faster, run smoother, and the battery life has improved significantly. I also appreciate the improved ergonomics of the Joy-Cons—they feel more comfortable during longer play sessions, and I haven't experienced any drift issues so far. The new kickstand is wide and stable, making tabletop gaming a lot more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

So Nintendo technical told a bunch of half-truths about the technical specs of the screen and video output, but it doesn't change the fact that they known how to make great games. The device is also still a pretty tremendous upgrade on the Switch 1 in basically every way. For anyone who owned a switch and has a back catalog, this device has been actually transformative for so many of those games on top of it. It may be worth the upgrade just to get the added benefit to older switch 1 games you love or havent played yet because of performance issues. There are a lot of reasons to be frustrated with Nintendo, but they still have it where it counts. FYI, I have had to swap out my dock 2 times now for faulty Ethernet ports on the back. Make sure you periodically check your internet settings if you plug the deck into wired ethernet so that if yours goes back you can RMA it through nintendo.
