Great System, Best Buy employees also great

The system itself is very well made, with some nice quality of life improvements that quite frankly make it what it always should have been--an essential part of any real gamer's living room setup.

Basically a Switch Pro - Exactly what I wanted

Everything works great and some of the switch 1 heavy hitters (like Zelda) look and play better than ever. If you never picked up a switch 1 and are curious about what it can offer, the switch 2 is a no brainer!

I have played MarioKart, Cyberpunk, WWE2K25, and Madden 26 on this. They all look good and play well. Madden has some slowdown but im sure will be patched. Worth buying.

It’s an upgraded switch in every way. Great if you don’t have one but if you do you could probably wait till more games are released.

Revisiting original switch games on switch 2, is pretty cool to see how well games run on switch 2. Good job on Nintendo’s part on the switch 2. Only think is the HDR settings for tv mode, need some more work on those.

Nice machine but horribly EULA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never owned a computer before that the manufacturer forces me to agree to let them remotely disable the machine permanently "at their sole discretion" before they will allow me to use it. The worst any respectable company has ever done before is threaten to lock you out of their online shops and multiplayer to protect their ecosystem from modified machines. They literally tell you, ONLY AFTER OPENING IT AND MAKING IT UNRETURNABLE, that you must agree to this or "do not use the console". This is the very definition of agreeing to something under duress. I imagine since I never plan to modify the machine, this won't be an issue, but the very principle of it is unconscionable and opens the possibility for bad actors to hack into Nintendo's system and activate the remote bricking mechanism. If your ok with that risk, then the Switch 2 has been a very nice piece of hardware. I love the bigger screen, larger storage, bigger and stable magnet locking high l controls, etc. Virtually everything about it is an improvement to the original except the repairability. I've really only been playing my existing backlog from the first switch and Metroid 4, I'm not taking any chances buying non exclusive games for this console with the looming threat of a remote bricking, I'd rather minimize my losses in the event that happens.
