The Switch 2 came out in June 2025, but I got mine a few weeks ago (Nov 2025). As I owned a few switch games I decided to test drive them and the games ran smoother and looked better (Xenoblade 3 & Xeno X). Comes with Mario Kart World. I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to more gaming on the Switch 2 in 2026 and beyond.

Switch 2 has better visuals, faster load times, smoother performance, and refined hardware while keeping the hybrid flexibility that defines the platform. It’s not a seismic leap, but it’s widely considered the best Switch yet and a very solid choice for both new buyers and longtime fans.

The Switch 2 is a fantastic upgrade. The performance is much smoother than the original, and the display looks incredible. It's been great for long gaming sessions, and I'm really impressed with the new features. Highly recommended!

The pictures is amazing, the game are definitely more intense but amazing. We play as a family and the bes5 thing is that we can add out old controls ftom the Nintendo switch 1. It is much fast the the switch 1 so far we havr not ran in to any trouble.

I absolutely love it! I've spent hours going through different games that I can play either individually or with more players! I especially like how easy it is to connect it to the TV and that it isn't difficult to learn the controls!

Its been fantastic, at 500 I thought it was a tad expensive, but it plays really well and it does everything I wanted for the next generation of switch. And the discount for getting Mario Kart World was worth it. I have had a blast not only playing by myself, but also having people over to play! I have had it since launch and play it pretty intensively. And controllers are still working really well.

First! Price range isnt the best but its okay i believe it is worth getting, I don't write alot of reviews so here I go, this Console feels nothing new to the switch 1 BUT worth the upgrade... the new Joy cons has grown on me i love them alot way better than the first gens. I have bought a few games Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Donkey kong Bananaza runs smooth no frame drops, loading is so much better and faster and those game looks great! Battery life is okay I ran about maybe 2-5 hours worth of battery but really depends what you are playing. Also the dock has a ethernet port and two usb. Also the switch do be running 4k when its dock of course and it is backwards compatible with you old games from the switch 1, overall it is worth it, i almost went for the ps5 but glad I didnt since i own a PC so getting the Switch 2 made more sense for me also nintendo exclusives cant go wrong, i recommend buying this switch 2 if you're interested in buying one.

The Switch 2 runs smoothly and looks great on both handheld and TV mode. Mario Kart is a blast and makes this bundle totally worth it. Definitely happy with this purchase.

This review is designed for people who are interested in buying a Switch 2, but aren't sure if it's a good time or not. Main issues: - Larger than the Switch 1 OLED, so it feels slightly strange use in handheld mode. Mostly designed to be used with built in-stand. - The Switch 2 joycon controller adaptor has a large gap, making it substabtially more uncomfortable than the original. I can't imagine using it for prolonged periods of time. Unfortunately, I highly recommend the Pro Controller 2, as it's very comfortable and has many features that probably should come with pack-in controller, like a headphone jack, or powering on the console by holding the home button. (yes. only the right joycon 2 and pro controller 2 can power on the system wirelessly) Be warned, as I have heard that both the joycon 2 and pro controller 2 have drift issues just like the originals, but I have yet to experience this. Otherwise, it's just a more powerful Switch. It's difficult to gauge how meaningful that is, as most of the games are also on the original Switch. It's nice for the handful of games that have Switch 2 versions, but ultimately unnecessary. Realistically, if you're a Nintendo fan, you're going to have to buy a Switch 2 at some point. As of right now, only buy one if you want to be at the forefront of the gaming scene. I recommend saving up and buying the pro controller 2 alongside the console because it will be be that much more enjoyable(this is a major flaw)

Ive had mine a couple weeks now and its a really nice upgrade from the OG one. The screen looks great and games run fast and smooth. Had to recalibrate the battery, but that was an easy fix

    Nintendo Switch 2 Hybrid Charm

While maintaining the sleek, hybrid charm that defined its predecessor, with the inclusion of sturdier magnetic Joy-Cons, seamless backwards compatibility, the Switch 2 has evolved from a "secondary" console into my ultimate, all-in-one gaming device.

Great console. High-quality device. Larger and feels more premium than OG switch. Going to be even easier to recommend once the library inevitably fills up in the years to come.

Yes, this is an expensive piece of hardware. However, this is also an investment in the future of Nintendo. This is truly a better Switch if you're a gaming enthusiast. A bonus is that the vast majority of your Switch library will not only work on this device, it'll run better than ever before. I still use my switch pro controller with the switch 2, however, it won't wake up the console because it's not a "Switch 2" controller - an easy work around is to just tap the power button on the docked console before you sit down. The device feels premium and less toy-like than the original Switch. If I had young kids, I would probably keep them on the original for now.
