A solid upgrade from the Switch 1, but pricey.

Especially since there aren't that many games for it and to play upgraded Switch 1 games you have to pay. Pretty standard practice in the industry, but one I've never really bought into. One thing to note is that if you have an old Pro controller it will work with the S2. However, it will not wake up the console like it does with the S1. A first world problem for sure, but it feels like they're trying to make you buy the new Pro controller.

Awesome new switch!

The ONLY caveat is that my old off brand controllers either don’t pair at all with it or pair with it but don’t wake it from sleep mode. I can’t blame the unit for that though

Worth it

It’s a great compliment for other consoles too and offers a huge library from switch 1 games as well. 10/10

Good performance still waiting on some games

Great, with some issues

But there are some issues, the HDR is very difficult to set up correctly. I recommend a video by HDTV in order to get the best out of it. I also recommend getting a screen protector. I don't care if it basically lives in the dock, I noticed my had some very faint scratches without ever using portable mode.
