The late evening opening event was great to attend and everyone was very excited.

It is the Switch, but better!

I haven’t regretted it a bit. Mario Kart World is beautiful, and I am excited for the possibilities this console has.

Great games and good hardware, not so great online

Nintendo continues the tradition of putting out great first party games with novel features. Unfortunately, they continue their tradition of having their online/DRM experience be rather poor. For instance, be sure to transfer your previous Switch if you have one at the startup process, otherwise making your new Switch 2 your primary console is a pain, requiring a factory reset. Animal crossing fans also need to be careful and follow directions exactly to transfer islands. TL;DR Great games and good hardware, not so great online and DRM experience

Nice Upgrade

My games from S1 look sooo much better on this console. And all the new upgrades are so satisfying. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect from Nintendo.
