Great console, maybe wait for more games

Worth it for me in that I’m able to fully enjoy my switch 1 games on more powerful hardware, and as a lifelong Nintendo fan I’m highly anticipating their future Switch 2 exclusives. I wouldn’t currently recommend it to anyone else, Donkey Kong and Mario Kart are fun but I wouldn’t be able to justify buying a console just for those

Good hardware upgrade; needs more software

As of right now there are not many Switch 2 games at the moment to really analyze the system at its best. Nintendo games run great but we still need to see how third party titles are going to consistently perform.

Xmas 2025

Best part is games downloaded to original Switch were transferable and playable on this new one. Plus we received the download for Mario kart which was an extra plus.
