Good enough for me.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only 4 stars cause battery is short but when it’s docked it’s beautiful and when it’s not it’s a nice large screen.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo Switch 2 Console Review The Nintendo Switch 2 is a remarkable leap forward for Nintendo’s hybrid gaming platform, successfully building on the strengths of the original Switch while addressing many of its limitations. Design & Build The Switch 2 maintains the iconic hybrid design, allowing seamless transition between handheld and docked modes. The slimmer bezels, larger 8-inch OLED display, and lighter weight make gaming on the go more comfortable and visually stunning. The new Joy-Con controllers feel sturdier and more ergonomic, with improved analog sticks that reduce drift issues. Performance Powered by an upgraded custom processor, the Switch 2 delivers smoother gameplay and faster load times. Games that previously struggled, like open-world titles, now run in 60 FPS in handheld mode and up to 4K upscaled when docked. Battery life has also been extended, averaging 6-8 hours depending on the game. Game Library & Backward Compatibility At launch, the console supports all original Switch titles and offers enhancements for select games. New first-party titles showcase the console’s power, with sharper visuals and more complex environments. The inclusion of a larger internal storage and expandable memory slot makes digital gaming much easier. Online & Features Nintendo has upgraded its online services with quicker connections, cloud saves, and better matchmaking. The new interface is cleaner and more intuitive, with improved eShop navigation. Pros: Stunning OLED display with better portability Significant performance boost and faster load times Backward compatibility with original Switch games Improved Joy-Con design and battery life Cons: Still lags behind PS5 and Xbox Series X in raw power Limited launch lineup of next-gen exclusives Verdict: The Nintendo Switch 2 is a must-have for both new and returning fans. It refines the hybrid concept to near perfection, combining portability, performance, and a growing game library in one versatile package. Rating: 9/10

No complaints
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well made and i haven’t had any problems with it. The joycon magnets definitely make it feel more solid than the Switch. I can play off the dock for a couple of hours before I have to recharge it. The screen size is much easier on the eyes. I’ve only played 2 exclusive Switch 2 titles so far: Mario Kart World and DK Bananza. I can’t say that it has blown my socks off, performace wise, but I do notice better performance.

Good, at a steep price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In all honesty, this console is not for everyone. But for the people that enjoy what it has to offer, It’s nothing short of perfect at what it does. At the cost of $450, It takes what made the first Switch great and made it even greater, including Magnets on controllers for easier attachment to console and/or accessories, upgraded graphics and storage, and more games made available to you, both through the online shop and their retro game services.

Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is a massive glow-up from the OG—sleeker design, a vibrant 7.9″ 1080p HDR‑120 Hz screen, and boost in performance thanks to its custom Nvidia chip that nails 4K docked and buttery handheld gameplay . Joy‑Con 2’s magnetic grip, mouse‑mode, and GameChat add mad convenience and social vibes . Battery holds up solidly all day, and with 256 GB onboard, you’re good to go. Backward‑compatibility plus launch titles like Mario Kart World seal the deal. Worth every penny!

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m super excited to share that after all the waiting, I finally got my hands on the Nintendo Switch 2! My first impressions after picking it up from Best Buy are absolutely fantastic. it’s clear that Nintendo has created a wonderful successor. You can really see the upgrades right away. The larger, more vibrant screen is the first thing that grabs your attention. Even though it’s not an OLED, the LCD quality is really impressive, giving a noticeable boost in visual quality for both new games and those classic Switch titles. Revisiting games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom feels like a whole new experience thanks to smoother frame rates and faster load times!

Switch 2 Review from a Buyer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with Mario Kart World is a no-brainer pickup for anyone looking to buy both. The bundle comes with everything plus a digital download code and is very worth priced. The game is super fun and actually really well made. The console is a good upgrade tech wise and is well made in quality. While the graphics may not be a PS5 or Xbox Series quality, the handheld is super impressive for being not that big and with backwards compatibility, makes a good pickup. The console is impressive for the size, and compared to others on the market, portability is appreciated and therefore justified the price for me. Overall, i would recommend this console to people who are fans and need it. If you dont want it now, a price drop or sale would justify a pickup later on if you don't plan on purchasing now.

Powerful little system!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is a massive upgrade over the Switch, whether that be the first edition, Lite, or even the OLED version. I've noticed improved performance in many games, like Xenoblade 3, Pokemon Violet, super steady 30fps on Fire Emblem 3 houses, faster load times on many other switch 1 titles as well. Of course, playing an actual Switch 2 game is where the console shines brightest. Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Zelda BOTW and TOTK switch 2 versions are incredible. I do wish there were more switch 2 games at launch, though, many are coming soon and next year. Overall, very happy! If you for sure are itching to play any switch 2 games and its within budget, do it! If the current titles, or the upcoming Legends ZA Pokémon game doesn’t excite you much, hold off for now until the library does expand.

A 100% improvement over the original
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The console is a direct improvement over the original. More base memory; bigger screen; dual plugs for charging and accessories; and better performance. Everything that the original Nintendo Switch was, the Switch 2 is better at. A definite must buy if you enjoy Nintendo games.

Very good upgrade from Switch 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it to play the new Mario Kart World, as well as play Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild at a higher framerate/resolution. Plays games flawlessly and everything feels very premium. My only downsides are the screen (It ghosts a very small bit but is not a dealbreaker.) and the battery life (It doesn’t last a long time, but comparable to launch Switch 1 as well as pc handhelds like the Asus Rog Ally and the Steam Deck.)

What I wanted in 2017
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This should have been the Switch originally. Nintendo is lucky this is still what I am looking for in a portable console. It’s better in every way from the original. Game fidelity is finally acceptable. Screen quality is finally acceptable. Happy to have this console. For many who enjoyed the original Switch, this will not be as compelling of an upgrade, but for those of us who had issues with the original, this console is amazing and fixes everything wrong with the original.

Switch 2 is great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Such an upgrade compared to my switch oled. Loading times, graphics, bigger screen and controls and l so much more. Play switch 1 games so much better. If you are on the fence just do it you won't regret it. Now that the switch oled has a price increase just pay the extra for the switch 2. Or if you have an oled just sell it and covee some of the cost of the switch 2.

Great upgrade system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much larger than I had expected when compared to original switch. Controllers that snap on and off is 100% better as well. Compatible with original games was so important. Really think this is an amazing upgrade and though it's a bit pricey, i feel it's worth it if you're invested in the switch already.

Backward compatibility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much larger display that the switch 1. Which can make it more difficult to hold and play for some. I like the fact that it has backwards compatibility and I think the graphics are improved. I think it is priced a bit high, but if you trade in a previous model as I did at BestBuy, it makes the price a little easier to deal with. Unless you need your previous switch, it is nice that this will continue to play them.

Better Picture, Better Storage, Better Overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t a radical reinvention, but it’s the kind of steady, smart upgrade longtime fans were waiting for. From improved visuals to expanded storage and refined controls, it feels like a more polished, future-proofed version of the original hybrid console. **Display & Visuals** The biggest everyday difference comes from the new OLED+ screen. Games look crisper, colors pop more vibrantly, and there’s noticeably less motion blur in fast-paced titles. Whether docked or handheld, the Switch 2 pushes higher resolutions and smoother frame rates, especially with first-party games optimized for the new hardware. **Storage & Performance** Nintendo finally addressed one of the original Switch’s biggest pain points: storage. With a default 256GB internal memory, most players won’t immediately feel forced to buy a microSD card. Load times are quicker, thanks to both the upgraded processor and faster internal memory, making switching between games and apps feel much snappier. **Battery & Build** Battery life holds up surprisingly well, considering the performance jump. On average, I got around 5–6 hours playing games like Tears of the Kingdom. The console feels sturdier too—joy-con drift hasn’t been an issue so far, and the new magnetic kickstand is genuinely useful. **Final Thoughts** If you already have a Switch OLED and mostly play docked, this may feel like a minor step up. But for handheld-first players or those still using the launch model, Switch 2 feels like what the original Switch always wanted to be: better picture, better storage, better overall.
