Much-Needed Refresh Shows Great Promise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long overdue upgrade to the Nintendo Switch! Some say it's too expensive. But considering how the original Switch was around for nearly a decade, I'd say it's a pretty good deal if you break it down to a year-by-year cost! While the new system doesn't break a whole lot of new ground, aside from the mouse controls that might be used by some games, the upgrades keep Nintendo up to date with the most essential new TV and video game graphics technology. Playing more advanced games on the go, with a larger and much-improved screen from the original Switch is great. I also love that it's backward compatible with games and controllers from the original Switch! I suddenly have a great four-player setup thanks to the ability to use my old Joy-Cons. The bundled Mario Kart World is a perfect escape from today's reality. There's so much going on in each course, it's like playing an amusement park ride. Of course, the real test will be how good the games not yet released will be. So far indications are good we'll have some winners. I'm looking forward to Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4, among others. Nintendo's got a good track record, so fans of their games likely have nothing to worry about.

A great upgrade from the Switch!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is a major upgrade from the Nintendo Switch OLED. It has a bigger screen, can handle bigger games and is a joy to play Mario Kart with friends and family! This bundle is worth it because you get the game cheaper than you would’ve if you bought it separately.

Big upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system is an upgrade in every way, even with the screen not being OLED. The battery life from what I’ve seen so far has improved. The screen has improved like I said, even with it not being oled. It’s a big difference having this much screen and then when it’s stopped, I was playing Zelda in 4K over the weekend and my God. Even the joy cons I haven’t charged yet so the battery on them has been working very well too. If You can get your hands on and you like Nintendo this is a must buy.

Best Yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is the best Nintendo console, yet. It is 10 times more comfortable than the original switch. It also has more space to download games. The nintendo switch games finaly run smoothly, so i was finally able to play games like pokemon Violet without lag. But its lack of themes draws it back. The 3ds had about 10 different colors to choose from. So if in a future update we get more themes, it will make the home menu more enjoyable. My only other complaint is its battery is bad, but when it gets down to one percent, I can play for another hour before it dies, so hopefully, in a future update, nintendo fixes that. But 4.5 stars best video game console of all yet, and if nintendo fixes the few problems, it will be 5 stars

Awesome console!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing console! Once I had it in my hands I could tell that it is way more than just a "Nintendo Switch Pro". It is fast, versatile, it has a beautiful screen that has nothing to envy an OLED. This is in another label and in my opinion it is worth the price. The battery life is the only downside in my opinion, but it won't stop me from giving this thing a 5 star review!

Great System
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Nintendo System since the Wii. I play mostly in handheld mode but even on a 4k tv it looks and plays great. The only area I would improve is the battery. I do think a slightly larger battery would be a benefit. I feel like I am plugging in a bit more than my Steam Deck, likely due to the much larger screen. Overall great purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had every Nintendo since the NES. Every generation had had its nuance. This latestest edition definitely delivers on everything, classic feel, portability, and speed. Literally everything is better on this unit. I would say if you sre on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger. Youll be happy you did.

Love it so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 runs great so far. Only exclusively Switch 2 game played so far has been Mario Kart World, but it’s been flawless. The magnetic controllers are nice to have than the sliding ones from the older console. It’s backwards compatible with the Switch 1 games too. So far so good!

Glad i got it quickly.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the Switch 1. The controllers are magnetic and function better than the slide on ones from before. The graphics are great. Mario Kart World has been a lot of fun as well.

Good Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New Screen, Console, Joycons are much better. Battery life isn't as good but it still last decent time. The games are backwards compatible so you dont loose any of your older games. Whats not to like?

i love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it’s only been a bit over a week since release and i find the NS2 to be really nice. all of the switch games that might have run a little funny (like certain parts in the newest zeldas) run beautifully on this even if you don’t get the game upgrade. the screen is bigger and brighter and the joycons are much sturdier feeling. i have no complaints and i don’t expect to have any for a while, if at all. if you like the switch - this one is def a good upgrade.

Is this love?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A well thought out and designed handheld! Many improvements over the OG Switch. Much faster load times and frame rates as well. Battery life is exceptional and charges fast with the new 100W Charger.

Impressive! Switch as it ought to be.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels like a premium product. Its impressive screen stands out right away. Somehow it comes across as "this is what Switch is meant to be." Games at 60fps are NICE. And sharp graphics are very welcome. It is a little bit expensive considering Nintendo is generally your more accessible family console, but knowing the hardware here it's pretty reasonable.

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing! Love how big the screen is, and how crystal clear the picture is. Only con that i can tell is the amount of play time which is 2 and a half hours. Charging is a breeze though. Glad i got the mario cart bundle as well

Bestest Best Buy Birthday Present
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome!! Gave it to my son for his birthday and he instantly loved it! He’s a gamer, has just about every console, oldschool and new, and he hasn’t played on any other system since the end of July. Bigger screen, better display resolution and the magnetic joycons are an amazing upgrade =)

With every penny
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The screen on this thing is beautiful. Colors pop, HDR works great, and the 120hz refresh rate is something you just can’t go without. Controllers are more than an improvement on the original Joy-Cons. Great buy.

Way better than expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 100% expecting the worse based off other reviews. Well if there is one thing I learned in this world, its to not listem to all the bad reviews since most people are hard to please and expecr the world. The screen looks amazing even after coming frol the Switch OLED. Colors look nice and gameplay is alot smoother. Ive tested the new Madden 26 and was very skeptical but again, I read reviews saying it was "unplayable" when it actually is. I have a steam deck OLED but ive caught myself playing on the switch alot more frequently lately. Also the docked quality on some games looks amazing. Its so nice to finally play some nintendo games at 4k resolution. If your skeptical of purchasing this, id say try it out for yourself and see if it meets YOUR needs. Im glad I did, because its definitely met mine. Happy Gaming!

Amazing Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch 2 is not miles but lightyears a head of the switch 1 in terms of overall enjoy ability thanks to a number of changes such as the larger and sharper display, the extremely satisfying snap due to the magnetic catch and release of the joycon 2, and is given tons of storage compared to the switch 1 which allows you even more time to buy the optional expansion (if need be) allows you to enjoy more games at once before needing to delete any content or upgrade with and express micro so card. Those are only a few pros to name along with my ONLY CON about the console, which would be its heavier weight in comparison to the original switch but can be easily forgotten while using in hand held, largely due to the benefits of all the PROS! This console has been extremely enjoyable with family, friends, and especially on the go!

Great follow up to the original Switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device has been a great upgrade from my OLED switch with a larger screen and a more premium feel. The backwards compatibility is great because all your old switch games carry over to the Switch 2 with upgraded visuals. The price is a little higher but its to be expected with the rising cost. Save $30 by going with this version instead of buying mario kart world and the console seperately.
