Build quality is greatly improved over previous Switch models. Performance is solid all around, holding a steady 120 fps with the Breath of the Wild Switch 2 edition/upgrade. Not many games to use as a baseline for its long-term prospects, but if you have a decent catalog already and are looking for an upgrade, it may be worth considering. This will largely depend on your budget as Nintendo games rarely go on sale. Even Breath of the Wild is still full priced after over 8 years. While Nintendo overall creates high quality software, it feels unreasonable to keep prices the same as the day it launched nearly a decade later.

I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 for a few months now, and honestly, it feels like its what i have been looking for. The first thing I noticed is the screen. It’s brighter, sharper, and the colors look way better than LCD screen and very similar to OLED NS1. Games like Mario World 2 and the new Zelda just pop on this display. Load times are also way faster, which makes jumping into games feel almost instant. Performance-wise, it’s a big step up. Games run smoother and look cleaner, and I haven’t heard the fan spin like a jet engine. When playing on dock, you may hear spin a little since performing on 2k screen and i enjoyed playing Split fiction on it. The new Joy-Cons are surprisingly solid. Better grip, no drift so far, and they feel more durable. Docking and undocking the console is smoother too. Overall, it still feels like a Switch — just finally modern. If you loved the original but always wanted better performance and a better screen, this is the one. I’m really happy with my purchase and honestly didn’t expect it to be this big of a difference.

Switch 2 is an amazing handheld that surpasses the original in every aspect.

Perfect console, just what I was looking for. Have put countless hours into the Switch 2, if you’re hesitant just treat yourself and purchase. It will be worth it! The hardware upgrade is the best part. Only con is the battery life in handheld.

Performance is on par with the steam deck, and although the LCD display is bigger than the previous switch the backlighting is very noticable and color vibrancy and accuracy is not as good as the oled of the previous model. Battery life is not great, only get about an hour and a half with the brightness at around 80%. Still a very fun console, not worth all the hype surrounding it but would still get it once there is more availablity and more games available to play.

The latest Nintendo switch is larger than the past models, but still small enough for hand held play. The quality is excellent, and the new design has subtle changes that make a big impact.i was skeptical that we needed another switch (we have an Oled) but this one is different than the past models.

Really enjoying the Switch 2 so far. The bigger screen looks awesome and games run way smoother than on my old Switch. The new Joy-Cons feel nicer in the hands too.

nice. works well with switch games too. some issues with wifi connectivity but move controller closer to router works when downloading

The switch 2 is exactly what it is, a decent upgrade to the system but not exactly a whole new system. It's much better design then the first and plays games better and faster

I am beyond happy with my Nintendo Switch 2! The battery life is amazing and lasts for hours of gameplay. The screen size is perfect, bright, and super clear. The joysticks fit perfectly in my hands, and the buttons work so smoothly. Everything feels solid and high quality. It’s great for both handheld play and on the TV. Nintendo really outdid themselves with this one — 100% recommend!

I had waned away from my Switch 1 awhile ago, but picking up the Switch 2 has reignited my want to play on the platform. Having many games that are getting upgrades on Switch 2 to run better, and the incremental upgrades that Nintendo did to the Switch 2 from the Switch 1 lead to this being a great console. And, it gets even better since Microsoft increased the price of the Series S to be the same as this bundle! If you want a great way to play a large library of great games, I’d take the Switch 2 over the Series S any day of the week.

The kids love this system! Doesnt take up a lot of space and so nice that it is portable!

Im having such a great time with the switch two. The investment was worth it. Because of the size of the console i can play the game on handheld instead of only docked. Im blown away at the fact that i can play these hi-res games on a handheld. I havent stopped playing it since i got it

Overall a solid upgrade if you be coming from switch 1 or lite. A little more expensive but has the power to justify its upgrade price, 120 hz lcd panel less likely to oled burn in and games from previous gen run smoothly. Loving the backwards compatibility but a screen protector is 100% recommended to have the plastic film they place on this console is very scratch able. Still using old joycon controller tech sadly but upside is 240ish gb memory system storage

Amazing performance increase over the switch 1. Battery life is quite low but I usually only use it docked. Great value for Mario kart when bundled.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is more than an improved switch. Much biggee screen, bigger joycons with mouse controls and 4k dock support 1080 p handheld. It's amazing. Only downside right now is just waiting for first party games and old games like.xenoblade 2 to hopfully get seitch 2 editions

The Nintendo Switch 2 is able to run all the old/new games good without a issue. The only downside is the battery life is not that good.
