Big Step Up From the Original Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up the Switch 2 on release day, and it’s been a great upgrade so far. In handheld mode, the screen looks brighter, sharper, and a bit larger, which makes games feel nicer to play on the go. The controllers also feel more solid and a little more premium than the older model. When I hook it up to the TV, the improvements are even clearer. The picture looks sharper, the frame rate feels smoother, and I don’t notice the little slowdowns I used to see on the first Switch. It just runs better overall. The only downside for me right now is the limited game selection, but I’m sure more titles will show up as time goes on. It did come with Mario Kart, and that has already been a lot of fun with friends and family. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using it and I’m glad I bought it.

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with my purchase it doesn't have a lot of games out for it specifically yet but the games that it does have are fun and run great and the fact that its backwards compatible makes it even better but it could use more storage even with the micro SD express card it only gives another 256gb and the games take a lot of space

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 for a while now, and it honestly feels like the upgrade the original Switch always needed. The jump in performance is immediately noticeable — games run smoother, load faster, and look way sharper both handheld and docked.

Just buy it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great purchase and was worth my money. Don’t know why everyone was complaining about it. It serves its purpose and does its job well. You DONT need a constant 120 fps for every laid back video game. Especially offline games where you will spend hours of playing. Just make the purchase if you truly want to. There’s no need to listen to anyone who discourages you. The games that will come soon for this will be better than switch 1 titles for its upgrades. So just spend the money if you have or don’t. My only complaint is be gentle with the controllers. They are very sensitive and will be ruined if used roughly.

Switch 2 Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Console arrived quickly and was easy to set up. Great device that’s going to provide many years of memories with family and friends! The library for switch 2 games isn’t big as of this review(9/12/25)but it’s very early in its life cycle and I’m willing to bet it’s going to have many amazing titles. 5/5 and I would absolutely recommend this console to anyone of any age!

Definite upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had my switch 1 since about 2016 or 2017 and it was really starting to slow down in some aspects. The fan would kick on trying run any persona game. Ive had my switch 2 for about a month now and it works beautifully! Ive been a fan of nintendo products since me and my dad would play mario on his gamecube so im glad the switch 2 isnt bad like everyone said it would be.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.★★★★★ The Nintendo Switch 2 is a huge step forward. The graphics are noticeably sharper and more detailed, and games look smoother and more vibrant than ever. Colors really pop, environments feel more alive, and everything just runs better overall. Whether you’re playing docked or handheld, the visual upgrade is immediately noticeable and makes familiar games feel brand new. Nintendo really delivered with this one—if you care about better visuals and a more immersive gaming experience, this system is absolutely worth it.

More of the Switch! But is it worth it?
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll be honest, with Mario Kart World included, I’m not sure it’s worth $500. If you got the upgreades for the two Zelda games, yes the look better and run smoother, but they weren’t unplayable on the Switch. I still occasionally break out Breath of the Wild just to get closer to 100% on my Wii U and that still does just fine, so the app still makes the hardware. I’m still waiting to see how the new features work in games like Mario Party Jamboree that take advantage of the mouse and camera. I don’t play Nintendo games online, so Game Chat is a useless feature that I feel Nintendo leined way too heavily on for the launch of this console. Game Cube on the Switch 2, cool, I guess. If im going to play Game Cube games I’ll play on my actual Game Cube, or Wii, or Wii U. They didn’t even include the best games to play on the sustem at launch. In conclusion, do you need a Switch 2? No. As of right now I’d say it’s only for the die hard Nintendo fans that have always purchased Nintendo hardware. 3 weeks after launch and I still find myself playing on PC or my PS5 more than the Switch 2.

Great Successor to Switch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Switch 2! The bigger screen, bigger joycons, and the ability to play Switch 1 games without them grinding to a halt is amazing.

Great upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally worth the upgrade from a switch one. I even have the oled and was still super happy with everything. Zelda upgrades are amazing, DK bonanza would be game of the year for me if it was nt such a stacked year (ghost of yotei / expedition 33). But if you are on the fence you should get one.

Amazing little portable gaming console.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a gift to my kid, he loves it. Though it’s a bit on the expensive end, the technology is quite impressive given its small size. Backward compatibility is a plus but graphics of the old games on the new console still look old (unless they provide upgrades which are okay at best). My biggest issue is, lack of games. Apart from the new Kart racing game, and very few new games made especially for Switch 2 (not including upgrades) the games library is rather small. Hoping we’ll get more good games soon.

Super Needed Upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son absoultely loves it. He's still able to play the old games along with the new ones. Response time is quicker without the buffering and lag. well worth the purchase, not to mention the graphics are way better. I would strongly suggest buying the warranty. I know my son, and he tends to wear the sticks out pretty quickly.

An okay console, bad for the future of gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs great, looks great and it's nice to have some upgrades for switch 1 games. As for its flaws well game cards are game cards just a pointer for downloading games and the packaging can be confusing on which do have the game in the key card and which are download only. Game are too expensive. Online plays is still bad. Replacement joy cons are too expensive at $90 and seem likely to develop stick-drift. Not feeling getting the low ammount of official switch 2 games with half if not more being just reskins for switch 1 games. It's a good console but greed holds it back.
