[Employee of bestbuy] It’s more of a small upgrade rather then a true sequel yes it’s more powerful but in terms the og was a xbox 360 this is a ps4 yes its a gen update but still behind the competition not bad but for the price it’s kinda a ripoff Nintendo is getting a little too greedy they need to humble themselves before they become sega even Xbox is close to just becoming a publisher not a console competitor. See it’s not bad especially for Nintendo but the price hurts and $500 was pre tariffs so know its just greed if it raises again it’s a no for referring for someone else to get but in all if you are a switch owner yes you’ll want this upgrade/need it eventually to make your system run better but in all hard for me to tell you to run out and upgrade mairo kart is ok to mid only worth it at $50 price in my opinion 8 was better and for the same $80 ish you can get the dlc to blow world out of the water really it’s only the performance upgrades that make it worth it and possibly future games only available on it but honestly they’re only doing that to sell it mairo kart world could have run on the original switch yes they may of needed to lower the player numbers back to 12 but honestly 24 isn’t better and donky Kong we’ll see i think like breath of the wild it could run on switch but yes with worst performance all in all buy if you feel it’s worth the performance, boost and exclusives but idk yes im happy with my upgrade i had the original switch from launch so it really was a true upgrade for me but if you just got one and possibly oled idk

I love the smooth feeling of the device and am impressed with the joycons being able to stay on strong and come off easily using just magnets. Playing switch 1 games so smoothly with rarely any stutterings feel awesome.

If you already own a Switch, I’d recommend waiting. There aren’t enough new exclusives yet to justify the upgrade, and most of the games you’ll be playing are carried over from the original Switch. There are only a couple of new titles, so it doesn’t really offer a fresh experience. It’s essentially the same console with some quality-of-life improvements and slightly better performance, which is expected and not necessarily disappointing—but it doesn’t feel new. If you’ve never owned a Switch before, it’s a great option. If you already have or had one, it’s okay, just not worth the price yet in my opinion. The cost of new games is also ridiculous, and having to pay for voice chat such a basic feature feels unreasonable. And if you’re into hacking, don’t even bother.

Our family is a faithful user of all Nintendo products, my son was very happy to have this. The staff was very helpful throughout the purchasing process.

Quick, small and snappy! Plus I was able to bring all of my original Switch games over! What’s not to love?

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a very good system it has a bigger screen, bigger joycons and a much faster processer and GPU. My only complaint is the Game Key cards and a $80 games. But I'll probably do what I did with Switch 1 games and wait for the games to go on sale.

As a newer Switch owner, the backwards compatibility sold me on the Switch 2. It’s like having an upgraded second console when the whole family likes to game. I hope Key Cards are not a long term option though. Games on catridge please!

Switch 2 has improved literally everything from its predecessor and is so much more enjoyable to play Switch games on. Better performance, improved graphics and the joycons are the best they have ever been! Highly recommend picking one of these up when in stock!

This is the first Nintendo Switch I have owned, and I was blown away by it! The graphics on the games I’ve played are nice and smooth. Also, the battery life on a single charge has been about 3-4 hours which makes it very handy to use.

Bought this for my wife for her birthday and she loves it!

My son loves it! He upgraded to this from the original switch and loves that is has faster download speed and bigger device.

I absolutely love this console. It doesn’t stray too far from the switch but it doesn’t need to, just need more exclusive games and it’ll be amazing.

System is an improvement on the original switch and every update has seen great improvements.

Easy to connect to your existing Nintendo account and bacwards compatibility gives access to all previously purchased games. Great for handheld gaming.

the new Nintendo 2 id say was pretty good not much has changed since the new one but the graphics are amazing
