I’ve been thinking of purchasing a Nintendo Switch 2 (mostly for our grandkids) since they came out. This past week I noticed that they were available for same day pickup at the Best Buy at which I normally shop. It was my intention to add it to my home theater system which was just purchased from and installed by Best Buy in July and has an old Nintendo Wii connected. While configuring the Switch 2, I was unable to get any picture on the TV. Since I felt the problem was more than likely an issue with the home theater system, I called the Best Buy Geek Squad to arrange for a service call to troubleshoot the problem. I was fully expecting and willing to pay for that service call. I was told that they would not make a service call that I had to make a reservation to take the Switch into the store for trouble shooting. I told them that in order to troubleshoot the issue I would need to bring in my entire home theater system and TV. After that very frustrating conversation I decided to do my own troubleshooting. Nintendo’s support site suggested changing HDMI cables and a different TV. I tried using two different ports in the home theater, three different HDMI cables, and connecting directly to two different TVs. Since none of these configurations produced any TV video, I am now convinced that the issue is with the Switch itself. I have returned the unit to the store. Due to Best Buy’s unwillingness to troubleshoot the issue I will not be purchasing another unit from Best Buy. Post Review Update: When I returned the Switch I spoke to a manager and I was told that if I visited the Geek Squad desk at the store they could have scheduled a home service call to troubleshoot my problem.

Nintendo always with mario's game and always are very fun

Well made game console, but it's not the best when it comes to value for money. As a hand held console it's still a good product.

I wouldnt say fair as most games are not compatible for the "performance boost" you get from this console. Evem when you do play a game with 120HZ and performance mode activated it runs like a potato. Id say better than a ps4 for sure but for what it is worth and how much the games are its UNBELIEVABLE.

The kids really seemed to enjoy it. Whatever as long as it keeps them out of my hair

The game did not come with the Mario kart download and I did not hear back from customer service after calling and emailing. Think better to buy directly from Nintendo

Love Nintendo products since the 80s but this Switch 2 to me is almost just like the regular Switch.

Like it just wish you could download apps like the original switch.

Nice Console, bad game selection had to return for that reason.

It gets a little buggy sometimes, the Switch doc doesn't want connect to the the TV and freezes

Email&app said ready to pick up, went to store with so much excitement , but the item wasn’t ready. Nothing wrong with the console tho, the image quality improvement is amazing

Code for Mario kart world isn’t in the box what should I do

It was way over priced. It was cheaper to buy the console and game separately. I ended up returning and doing exactly that.

Nintendo makes playing your old games and using 2 different switches really challenging and dumb. The WIFI suddenly went out on our OLED model so now that makes sharing accounts complicated. I returned it. I prefer Xbox or Legion Go S over the Switch 2 any day.

I bought it for a Christmas gift so I have not given it yet. That is all I can say about the game itself.

System would be awesome if not forcing digital, “game key cards” nothing more than scam of illusion of physical media. Once servers for switch 2 are down like they did for Wii U/3ds/etc. you basically bought flimsy paperweight. Really disappointed I bought a switch 2 now. Key cards, no oled on release, more expensive, just to name a few. If want to play switch 2 exclusives or future Nintendo exclusives your locked in. Really debating to stop my future Nintendo purchases and just stick to pc/xbox/ps5/etc, more than enough games there and Nintendo exclusives never released to other platforms is a very small percentage

Not worth getting at the moment needs improvement to battery life too

Need to have the YouTube app other that it’s a good game system
