Overall this console does a lot better than the OG Switch. Processor is miles quicker, transforms games that get the updates, able to handle faster web speeds. Big concern to me is not just the worse battery but also quality over time as im already noticing my joycons not feeling very secure. I hope this is an isolated case

I got this for myself and so far I love it! I don’t really play handheld much, but if I do it’ll be nicer to have a bigger and better screen. I do absolutely love the joycons though compared to the old ones!

I am very happy with my purchase. I am glad I upgraded from the Switch. All of the updated hardware makes everything feel fluid with no delays, and the bigger screen is nice. Nintendo also continues to push out updates to improve the experience even more.

Got for my kid and he loves it says its way better then the first switch, graphics are awesome even on older games picture quality is 10x better , battery life so far good, mario cart game is digital and alot of fun to play, comes with everything you need to get started with.

if you have a lot of games that have free/purchase upgrades, it makes what you have run/look nicer. if not and mainly play s1 games, i would wait for oled version? or mid cycle refresh when more s2 games are released.

Kids love it! All the games for the original switch have worked great!! The new Mario Kart is great!

Much improved over the original in terms of power plays all the original switch games. It just feels good in your hands as well.

It works nicely but a year in and Nintendo has yet to justify a $500 price tag. If you are bringing over your Switch 1 library it's still fun. The gimmicks are underused and you will have to subscribe to their service for voice chat. 50/50 on regretting my purchase at launch.

Love it. Just what was needed to bring the family back together for game nights. You can never be too old to have fun with the family.

Superb improvement over the original switch! As a comparison, I use my steamdeck quite a lot, and although the switch isn't a handheld pc, it certainly quenched the thirst of running first party nintendo games efficiently handheld and docked. The voice chat is nifty, could use improvements when discussing streaming quality however at least nintendo was honest in their console reveal, so it wasn't a surprise. I'm having fun using this handheld console, and I can't wait for Pokemon legends Z-A as well as the Duskbloods!

Good product overall i like the backwards compatibility with the original switch i like how i am able to use the older controls, how the graphics are much better even on the older games and i cant wait for all the new games to come

Console is awesome - MKW leaves a bit to be desired but the console itself makes the experience worth it

I use this primarily as a console with 3rd party accessories and not as a hand-held. As such, it's everything I expected it to be. The increased size helps with my big hands, but the Joy-Con holder that comes with still somehow finds a way to make using the shoulder buttons mediocre.

Can never go wrong with NINTENDO SWITCH...super fun & also great to take on travels to pass time.

Works great - no complaints. Got it for my fianceé and she loves it.
