I like the new size for the Switch and the magnetic Joy Cons. Much easier and user friendly than needing to slide them on and off. The bundle is the way to go if you are a Mario Kart fan. You are saving $30 off the regular price of the game. The graphics are good, but I don't notice much of a difference. Sound is better as well.

Graphics and framerates/load times are much quicker on the Switch 2, and I appreciate that we can still use cartridge games. I like the magnetic catches for the Joy Cons. However, I do not like the dock aspect of the Switch 2. Wasn’t fixed from the first Switch. As Switch users who generally keep it docked, I don’t like that the Switch isn’t always recognized right away by the TV because of how the console sits on the dock port.

very happy with my new purchase. i skipped getting the first one so here i am. the graphics are great, the controller compatibility is really cool and the screen is huge! battery seems to go fast with high efficiency games but that’s to be expected. i usually play this at home anyway. i recommend a case and screen protector

Me and my partner got it as a gift for ourselves and have been enjoying it ever since. We're both out and about often so being able to kill time with games on the go or to other people's places with ease. Me personally it's what I was looking for in the first switch: better performance, better screen, and bigger form factor as the og switch was too small for my hands and cramped after half an hour of playtime.

My daughter is thrilled with the Nintendo Switch 2. Everything works perfectly, and Mario Kart World is especially fun for us, particularly when we play on the TV—it looks amazing! She loves playing with it in the car. I highly recommend it. To avoid running out of power on the Nintendo, I suggest keeping a power bank in the car. I bought a very inexpensive case at Best Buy, and it's been working perfectly so far.

    Amazing Upgrade

The switch 2 is not miles but lightyears a head of the switch 1 in terms of overall enjoy ability thanks to a number of changes such as the larger and sharper display, the extremely satisfying snap due to the magnetic catch and release of the joycon 2, and is given tons of storage compared to the switch 1 which allows you even more time to buy the optional expansion (if need be) allows you to enjoy more games at once before needing to delete any content or upgrade with and express micro so card. Those are only a few pros to name along with my ONLY CON about the console, which would be its heavier weight in comparison to the original switch but can be easily forgotten while using in hand held, largely due to the benefits of all the PROS! This console has been extremely enjoyable with family, friends, and especially on the go!

So to start this is my first switch, so i dont have anything to compare it to. As far as first times go, this has blown me away. Performance is great, and the screen looks really good. The battery life has been a bit annoying as I usally run out before I’m done with a gaming session, but it is what it is.

Mario Kart World bundle has been a blast! The console’s 7.9″ vibrant screen and powerful hardware make games look great in handheld and docked modes, and performance is smooth whether you’re racing or exploring other titles. Mario Kart World is a fun, fresh take on the classic racing series with seamless world design and up to 24‑player races that keep every session exciting. The included Joy‑Con 2 controllers feel comfortable, and the overall package delivers excellent value. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a versatile gaming system with a great launch title

Awesome!!! My son loves it! 1 of the best things I could’ve gotten him for Christmas. Although I had to take it back within 2/3 weeks after purchasing because it malfunctioned. They took it back and replaced it with a brand new one. An even swap. Warranty and all transferred over. I will rate this as a 5 star 10 out of 10 rating. Nice size screen. Great graphics. Just wonderful. Love how the games are versatile as far as using the regular switch 1 games for switch 2. Looooove it!!!

Great release of the Switch 2! Visuals are stunning and gameplay feels smooth. I’ve enjoyed Nintendo games all my life and playing future Nintendo games with this updated tech has me stoked. Only disappointment console-wise is the battery life. To this, the Switch 2 feels like a catch-up with other consoles and handhelds (namely the Steam Deck). Doesn’t have that feel of exceeding current tech. If you’re a big Nintendo fan, make plans to get it. If you’re not that into Nintendo games but enjoy video games in general, may need to put more thought into purchasing.

The system is great, the way the joycons are magnetic and don’t slip out while playing handheld mode is amazing. The games run smooth and look great on the bigger screen. The only downside is the battery life and you have to use a high capacity charger. You can’t hook up just any usb-c to charge it up. The charger for the original or the OLED do not work on this system and vice versa

    Solid Upgrade From Switch 1

Alright, spent some good time with the Switch 2, and here's the lowdown: It still feels like a Switch, just a bit bigger and more solid. The 1080p, 120Hz screen is a clear upgrade, making games look sharper and smoother. Those new magnetic Joy-Cons are awesome – super satisfying to attach, and they feel much more secure. Performance-wise, it's definitely got more power. Games run smoother, and everything feels snappier. It's not a powerhouse like other consoles, but it's a huge step up for portable gaming. Should you upgrade? If you have the original Switch, yes, definitely. If you've got an OLED, it's still a really nice upgrade for the performance and new features, but maybe not a total must-have. Basically, it's everything good about the Switch, just... better.

As a long time Playstation owner, I was pleasantly surprised by the Switch 2 - it's got more going for it than I would have thought. My partner and I have had a blast playing Mario Kart World and DK Banaza. Games look great, play great, and the portability factor is a plus. Would definitely recommend it you are looking to play games on the go, or if you want to play with younger family members. Nintendo commitment to quality shines through.

Picked up the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle for launch weekend and it’s been a home run for our household. The console feels like everything I loved about the original Switch, just faster, sleeker, and more stable. Setup took about 10 minutes, and transferring our profiles and saves was painless. The new screen looks fantastic in handheld—colors pop and outdoor glare is noticeably better—and docked play feels smoother with snappier load times. As for Mario Kart World: instant classic. The track variety is wild, the new mechanics add depth without scaring off younger players, and online races have been rock solid so far. Local multiplayer still shines—four Joy-Cons, a couch, and chaos in the best way. This bundle basically gives you the party game you’ll play for years on day one.

Solid system, battery life is a bit short but with the graphic upgrades it makes sense. The larger size is much better on the hands which I appreciate. Donkey Kong bananza has been my top played game.

This Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart bundle exceeded my expectations! The improved hardware feels noticeably faster with crisp visuals, and Mario Kart loads quickly and runs super smooth. The Joy-Cons have great responsiveness with minimal drift — definitely an upgrade. I love the versatility of docking it to play on my TV or using it handheld. Battery life easily lasts through long sessions. Great bundle, especially with Mario Kart included!

I have really enjoyed playing with my nintendo switch 2! The screen size and graphics are amazing! As a novice gamer, this is fantastic. I will say that my only complaint is that the console becomes heavy on my hands while I am playing, but overall the experience has been great.

Let’s get one thing straight — I bought the original Switch, enjoyed it for a solid month, and fully intended to return it… but the wife disagreed so we kept it under mild emotional duress. Fast forward to the Switch 2, and this time, I gave it a shot willingly. Here’s the breakdown from someone who returns literally everything: Performance: Noticeably smoother. I booted up a Mario game and didn’t hear the fan scream like it was doing CrossFit. Frame rates? Solid. My kids noticed, which is wild because they didn’t notice when I got new floors. Screen: It’s sharper than the original and easier on the eyes, even if it’s not OLED. Still, looks good enough to get roasted by in-game characters in high clarity. Battery life: Respectable. Won’t power a road trip, but will survive a few Fortnite tantrums before collapsing. Joy-Cons 2.0: They feel sturdier, but I’m still side-eyeing them like they owe me child support. No drift yet… but I’ve been hurt before. Price + Games: The console isn’t cheap, and the game prices? Might put you in a light financial coma. $70 to get stomped by 8-year-olds in Mario Kart feels personal. Final verdict: Did I try to find reasons to return it? Yes. Did I actually return it? No. That’s basically a standing ovation coming from me. If you’ve got the budget and the nostalgia, the Switch 2 is worth it. Just remember to hide it from your kids until you’ve had a chance to play once.

Wasn't going to upgrade because we already have both Switch and Switch OLED, but the games feel much smoother, the design is better (hated old kickstand). Christmas gift was just the excuse to purchase. Remember that your old controllers still work, they just can't physically slide on so you have to charge separately. You also need to get a new case as the size is significantly different. Don't expect old Dock to work, and you should also switch out HDMI cord if still using old one.
