The Switch 2 is a solid upgrade in terms of hardware — it runs smoother, looks sharper, and keeps that signature hybrid design that made the original such a hit. If you’ve got a huge backlog of Switch games, this is definitely the best way to play them. Games load faster, frame drops are less of a problem, and older titles feel fresh with the performance boost. But when it comes to new games? That’s where things start to feel a little underwhelming. The launch lineup isn’t very exciting, and first-party releases are pretty thin at the moment. It feels like Nintendo is still holding back their heavy hitters, and third-party support hasn’t taken full advantage of the upgraded specs just yet. The Bottom Line: If you’ve missed out on the original Switch library or want to replay classics with better performance, the Switch 2 is a great pick. But if you’re hoping for a flood of new, next-gen Nintendo experiences right now, you might want to hold off a bit.

Device was in proper working order. Received it undamaged. Got a good sale on the switch, which included the Mario kart game for the base price of the switch. Is much larger than I was expecting it to be, but not a bad thing. Currently still working fine after two weeks.

I like the JoyCon 2, for their improved button size, good feeling sticks and matte finish. I also like the large, vibrant screen. Mario Kart world has been great with my siblings, the Zeldas get a nice upgrade, and there will be plenty more awsome games to come over the next decade that just weren’t possible on the original. The only dissapointment I have is that the battery life isn’t quite as good as the Switch OLED, but that is a tradeoff of powerful, portable, good value hardware.

The upgrade from the Switch 1 to the Switch 2 is quite noticeable. The screen, the looks the size all feel and looks good. Im addicted to the Switch. The only thing I would say needs to improve is battery life. Outside of that its the perfectl system.

Improves on the Switch 1's major flaws. Bigger, more comfortable to hold, brighter screen (though still not an OLED by default). Magnetic Joy-Cons reduce risk of hardware failure and are more comfortable to use. Performance is consistently strong, but battery life leaves something to be desired.

One of the best systems I have ever bought. It is a super charged switch essentially. The storage is a little in the low side- Recommend picking up an SD card.

This is a HUGE upgrade from the original Switch! The game performance is smoother, the screen is bigger, and the overall quality is on another level. Playing on the Switch 2 is way more fun. Best purchase I’ve made. No regrets at all!

The new switch is awesome! I waited a little over a month to write a review so that I could allow some time to pass to fully get the experience using it. The larger screen is great, new joy cons are easier to use and the graphics are much much better than the previous version. Every game loads quicky and looks awesome. Playing Zelda, Pokemon and the new Donkey Kong bananza game have all proved to be great on the Switch 2. Can’t wait to play Pokemon legends Z-A when it releases!!

The Switch 2 is everything you'd want out of an console upgrade. Everything runs faster and smoother. I've heard complaints about the screen and while it's disappointing that it's not OLED, it is still great for mobile playing. My only complaint is that I wish the battery lasted longer.

Nintendo Switch but bigger and more powerful. Battery life with the new Switch 2 only games isn’t great. You get about 2 hours of play time, but that’s enough for a solid gaming session before you have to charge it again. The console feels premium and looks great. It’s the switch, but better!

Nintendo did it again. Switch 2 is a great console and a nice evolution of the previous one. Great to play by yourself, online or with a group of friends. It keeps the nostalgia but with better gameplay and graphics.

The best console made by Nintendo ever, works perfectly and smooth, the magnetic Joycons are easy to attach . With this bigger screen you can appreciate best graphics and high quality resolution.

it’s not the most powerful out of all the gaming consoles but definitely one of the most portable ones. You’re able to remove the joy cons and store them separately from the display and that allows you to put it in different bags store differently when you need to take it on the go. My only hiccup is the battery for that I did buy a portable battery pack and that gives me at least 2 to 3 gaming sessions if I’m not close to a outlet but apart from that a big step up from the original switch. Can’t wait to see what Nintendo has to offer in regards to your first party exclusive.

Larger screen and faster than my original Switch. Paired it with Satisfy hand grip and carrying case. Nice to update Zelda BOTW and TOK for only $10 each on the Nintendo Website to be able to use the Companion App. Happy Days !

Disregard anyone telling you the Switch 2 isn't worth it. I think it is. It improves from the Switch 1 very well. Everything looks great on it and everything is faster on it. The joycons and the system itself are bigger. That is a plus to me.

I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 for a bit now, and honestly, it feels like a really solid upgrade without losing what made the original so fun. The first thing I noticed is how much better everything looks. Games are sharper, colors pop more, and performance feels smoother overall. Load times are quicker too, which is something I didn’t realize I cared about until it improved. It just makes the whole experience feel more modern. The hybrid design is still the star of the show. Being able to switch from handheld to TV mode in seconds is just as convenient as ever, but it feels more refined now. The handheld mode is more comfortable, and the screen upgrade makes a big difference, especially for longer play sessions. Battery life seems improved, which is a huge plus if you’re playing on the go. I’ve been able to get through longer sessions without constantly worrying about charging. The controllers also feel a bit sturdier, and connection issues (like random disconnects) seem less common. My children wanted it so much, so I bought it as a Christmas present. The large screen, comfortable joystick, and beautiful design are outstanding. The Mario Kart bundle pack made it the perfect Christmas gift.

So much better than the switch 1 in every conceivable way, the e shop isn’t laggy anymore, games feel more responsive, screen and controllers are bigger, a great evolution to the switch. Only downside is the 256gb storage capacity, while a big step up from switch 1 it’s still not enough, games are getting bigger and with the switch 2 being able to handle more powerful games, the games are gonn quickly eat that storage forcing you to get a micro sd card.
