The Switch 2 has become a better system than the Switch one in terms of performance and the quality of games. 3rd party games that had struggled before are now a thing of the past and play much smoother. I love the switch 2 and would say give it a go if you werent convinced with the switch one.

This console is a great value at its current price. The graphics are impressive for something you can play on the go, and it just has a lot of flexibility. You can play on your TV traditionally, play it anywhere in handheld mode, and it’s even sort of a Wii with the motion controls some games use. Been having tons of fun since I bought this.

We bought this for our kids and they love it, it works great and is an amazing gaming handheld. We have a few games already and it has come in very handy while we are traveling.

Seriously, this newer version is so much better than the first one. The smoother frame rates make a huge difference in how games feel. Plus, the graphics look way sharper, which is a really nice upgrade. It's definitely worth it if you were on the fence about the original. Overall, a solid improvement that's hard to argue with. I do wish the battery life was better though!

The Switch 2 is everything you'd want out of an console upgrade. Everything runs faster and smoother. I've heard complaints about the screen and while it's disappointing that it's not OLED, it is still great for mobile playing. My only complaint is that I wish the battery lasted longer.

The new switch is awesome! I waited a little over a month to write a review so that I could allow some time to pass to fully get the experience using it. The larger screen is great, new joy cons are easier to use and the graphics are much much better than the previous version. Every game loads quicky and looks awesome. Playing Zelda, Pokemon and the new Donkey Kong bananza game have all proved to be great on the Switch 2. Can’t wait to play Pokemon legends Z-A when it releases!!

Love it, bigger screen,bigger controllers, bigger everything. Still waiting for more new games but the power performance is so good when playing older games. Helps with having a short loading screen.

Scree is big and controllers better fit adult hands. Great clarity docked or handheld. The online aubscription gets acces to some older games from older nintendo products. Games are currently pricy but you can find some decent ones in the $40-$50 price range.

I was a little hesitant to upgrade since my old Switch was still working fine, but this is a massive leap forward. The new screen is absolutely gorgeous—everything looks sharper, and the colors really pop. Games that used to stutter or take forever to load on the old hardware run buttery smooth now.  I really appreciate that Nintendo kept it backward compatible. All my old physical cartridges work perfectly, and some of them actually play better than they used to. The new controllers are a huge improvement too; they feel a lot more ergonomic and less flimsy for adult hands. It is a little bit heavier than the original, but the battery life is fantastic and easily makes up for the weight. I played for a solid four hours on a flight this past weekend and still had plenty of juice left. If you play in handheld mode a lot, upgrading is an absolute no-brainer.

To start off, the quality upgrade going from the lite to this is incredible. I am comfortable with the handheld option, and love how easy it is to attach and detach the joy-cons. The size of the screen is perfect to my liking, and so is the storage that it comes with.

I became a switch person during the pandemic, playing Animal Crossing for 200+ hours. The new switch 2 has great graphics & a larger screen. It plays all of the original games & updates are less than $10 for games you love to be a little more crisp.

Beautiful new design!! The controllers are meatier, and the screen on the handheld device is crisp, clear, and larger. Transferring data was seemless and Mario Kart is so much more fun with multiple options, creative designs, and character choices.

Device was in proper working order. Received it undamaged. Got a good sale on the switch, which included the Mario kart game for the base price of the switch. Is much larger than I was expecting it to be, but not a bad thing. Currently still working fine after two weeks.

Improves on the Switch 1's major flaws. Bigger, more comfortable to hold, brighter screen (though still not an OLED by default). Magnetic Joy-Cons reduce risk of hardware failure and are more comfortable to use. Performance is consistently strong, but battery life leaves something to be desired.

Better than the original launch model Switch in every way. From the bigger screen, better performance with older Switch 1 titles that got free or paid upgrades, bigger Joy-Con, and 256GB of storage. If you were a huge fan of the original Switch, this upgrade is a no-brainer. Also, buying the Mario Kart bundle saves you $30 instead of buying the $449 Switch 2 and $79 Mario Kart World separately. PS Donkey Kong Bananza is also a must have for Switch 2
