Much larger display that the switch 1. Which can make it more difficult to hold and play for some. I like the fact that it has backwards compatibility and I think the graphics are improved. I think it is priced a bit high, but if you trade in a previous model as I did at BestBuy, it makes the price a little easier to deal with. Unless you need your previous switch, it is nice that this will continue to play them.

I’m super excited to share that after all the waiting, I finally got my hands on the Nintendo Switch 2! My first impressions after picking it up from Best Buy are absolutely fantastic. it’s clear that Nintendo has created a wonderful successor. You can really see the upgrades right away. The larger, more vibrant screen is the first thing that grabs your attention. Even though it’s not an OLED, the LCD quality is really impressive, giving a noticeable boost in visual quality for both new games and those classic Switch titles. Revisiting games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom feels like a whole new experience thanks to smoother frame rates and faster load times!

The Nintendo switch 2 is an amazing gaming console. I love the big screen and new joy cons. I’ve always had issues with the old joy cons as the knobs seem to go bad quickly. I also love the new features on this system including the chat option. It makes online play more fun. I also appreciate that if you have the original game that was for the switch you can upgrade the game for the switch 2 for a cheaper price. Overall loving this system. It is a great update.

I was on the fence on upgrading now, but my old switch was just showing it's age. Also the Mario Kart bundle is out of production. I am so happy I did it. This console is so insanely better than the switch 1. It's so smooth everything runs fast and great. If you're interested in Mario kart. You should buy this now before it isn't available anymore. The game is super fun and looks incredible on this system.

I was able to upgrade to this from the original switch. It’s a HUGE upgrade. The performance is night and day. The screen looks great and games look awesome with the Switch 2 update.

When the Switch first got released, I got lucky and found a Best Buy that had some in stock the morning after the midnight release. The console had the typical 1st gen issues (overheating and drifting). When the Switch 2 was announced my boys both saved up to buy it. One bought it at Best Buy and the other at another retailer. The one who bought it from the other retailer received it on release day. The one who bought from Best Buy did not. In fact, the console from Best Buy was shipped from NY to Florida on release day. It was expected to arrive two days later, but a problem from the freight company made it another day late. The purchase from Best Buy was the bundle with Mario Kart. Both boys say the performance of the console is much better than the original Switch. That performance improvement is whether used as a handheld or connected to the TV. The expense of the express SD card has held up those purchases, but the on-board memory has been sufficient so far. They are both still waiting to get cases and other accessories which will probably be when they finally take a break from playing.

An excellent console, now bring on the games!! Many improvements over the original in every way imaginable. Feels more premium, has a better screen, the buttons are bigger, decent battery life, magnetic joy cons are amazing. I can’t wait to see what comes out for this thing in the future.

The new nintendo switch 2 provides a bigger screen and controllers with more immersive gameplay, at the expense of handheld batter life (about 1 hour). Well worth it for both docked and handheld, understanding that external batteries are common.

I love this new switch. Now this is coming from someone who doesn’t really game. I prefer Mario games and easy pace games really but I think the switch 2 is amazing. I love the way it looks and the games look amazing too, in my opinion.

Nintendo did a great job of improving on an already great console while not overthinking it and changing the things that worked. The new joy cons feel even more premium, the magnetic attachment is addicting, and the larger size makes them feel much better if using a singly joy con for gaming (i.e. local play on Mario Kart with friends). Screen is larger and comes with a built in screen protector which balances not being too bulky when in handheld mode while not feeling to small. Kick stand is also a HUGE upgrade. Also, a lot of the negatives have more to do with the launch lineup (which isn't an issue with the console itself but Nintendo release time frame or decision making) and because people think naming it Switch 2 is the equivalent to the Wii U debacle. For some reason people seem to forget that other companies create a product and just use a numbering system for their next iteration (PS1, PS2, PS3, iPhone X, iPhone XI, iPhone XII, Galaxy, tablets, etc). Easily the best handheld gaming experience, the steam deck is unwieldy compared.

New Screen, Console, Joycons are much better. Battery life isn't as good but it still last decent time. The games are backwards compatible so you dont loose any of your older games. Whats not to like?

Bigger screen, better quality product and graphics and almost no lagging like I had with my Switch 1. Great for vacations, works great with smart TV's and you can even play Switch 1 games on it. I take mine with on business trips and play on the go, on lunch and in the evening around work schedules. The unit holds a charge for a long time and when the system is connected to a TV, the controllers that disconnect stay charged for almost 2 days of non-stop playing. The games are great quality and there is a huge selection online and, in the store, to choose from.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is everything I hoped for and more! The upgraded OLED screen is absolutely stunning, the colors are brighter, the blacks are deeper, and every game feels more alive. Playing titles like Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Mario Kart looks breathtaking compared to the original model. The enhanced audio is another pleasant surprise. Whether docked or in handheld mode, the sound is clearer and more immersive, making long gaming sessions even better. The wider kickstand is a game-changer too, it feels sturdy and makes tabletop gaming with family so much easier. Battery life is solid, setup is seamless, and the portability makes it perfect for both at-home play and gaming on the go. It truly feels like Nintendo perfected an already amazing console. A well thought out and designed handheld! Many improvements over the OG Switch. Much faster load times and frame rates as well. Battery life is exceptional and charges fast with the new 100W Charger.

I love everything about the Switch 2: 1) The bigger & faster screen, 2) The more comfortable joy-cons, 3) The faster frame-rates and higher resolution in games. I think that is price difference is definitely warranted (when comparing it to the Steamdeck, ROG Ally, etc.)

This is AMAZING puece of tech for you and the whole family. It may not be an OLED but I've honestly not seen a major difference in display. The graphics and smoother gameplay is next level. Especially when playing it on the television. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the battery isn't the best. You have to carry a charger or be at home if you plan to play it for over 3hrs. Other than that I'd recommend this to anyone.

Love this Nintendo switch 2. So happy I was able to get my hands on this. The larger screen size is a great welcome and the new joy cons are mint. So far all my switch games are backwards compatible, and run great. Boost a few of your old games too like Pokémon, Scarlet and Violet. So happy with this purchase.
