Best purchase of 2025
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a console that’s easy to jump into and truly feels worthwhile right from the moment you open the box, and this bundle absolutely delivers. The Switch 2 feels polished and responsive, and pairing it with Mario Kart World creates the perfect "day one" experience—within minutes, you’re racing, laughing, and passing controllers around. What I love most is its flexibility: quick pick-up-and-play sessions in handheld mode or dock it to transform it into a living-room party machine. Mario Kart World is the kind of game that everyone can enjoy—kids, casual players, and competitive friends—because it’s simple to learn yet offers plenty of depth to master. The bundle's value is fantastic, too; getting the console and a top-tier game together makes the entire purchase feel like a no-brainer.I wanted a console that’s easy to jump into and actually feels worth it the moment you open the box, and this bundle absolutely delivers. Nintendo takes a step in thr right direction.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off ive had a couple switch one consoles since release. Im actively still using my switch oled to this day. The Nintendo Switch 2 is not a huge generational leap from its predecessor, but is has alot of premium features that will help carry it to the future. The positives are the larger screen ans overall size, it personal fits the shape of my hands better. The new joycons connect and disconnect with a new magnet system that is amazing. The dock has a cooling fan and wired ethernet port for a fast connection. 4k 60 to 120 is a nice bump. Battery life in older games is decent and from the few plays throughts in cyberpunk im getting at least two hours of charge. So there are some cons. The screen is larger but after having a oled swtich this new screen will never compare to it. Hopefully Nintendo will release oled 2. New switch 2 games are few and far betweem with most being upgrades of previous games and only dockey kong really showcasing the new systems compatibility. Joy con drift will be a issue since they haven’t improved the sticks. My biggest complaint isnthe new digital only games in a case situation that they are currently doing. Some game will only come with a digital code, no cartridge

Needed Performance upgrade. Disappointing games
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switch 2 is an upgrade in every way. No more lag from switch one games. Experience is so much better, bigger screen is nice. Disappointed in the release schedule of new games. Not many fun ones. DK got old fast. Pokémon is repetitive stimming garbage. Waiting for some real story games or at least try’s with story. It really improves switch 1 games though.

A more powerful switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I remember buying a Switch lite back in 2021, and I ended up returning it. I was disappointed in a lot of things - the system wasn't very powerful, the default storage ran out quickly, and it wasn't very ergonomic. The culmination of all of these flaws meant it didn't really feel like a console - it felt like a toy. I guess that's a silly distinction to make for devices meant for playing video games, but it's how I felt. The Switch 2 doesn't feel like that at all. It's pretty impressive how it keeps all of the things that worked about the Switch 1, just in a more powerful, appealing package. The kickstand is solid and versatile, instead of flimsy and weak. The screen is a beautiful, 1080p at a size that makes it shine. The new controllers aren't perfectly ergonomic, but they're a huge step up from the gen 1 Joy-Cons. It feels very comparable, and even better in a few ways to my Steam Deck, which is a huge accomplishment. My main reason for knocking off a star is that I don't think there's a huge reason to get one now, especially if you already own a Switch 1. The only real exclusive experience is has right now is Mario Kart, which is great, but probably not worth $500 on it's own. I think for most people, I would say to wait a few months. Give the developers time to made ports and Switch 2 upgrade packs, see what Nintendo reveals in the next direct.

Better than the switch 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo has done it again. They fixed a lot of the complaints from the switch 1 and made the switch 2 even better. Upload times are super fast and the bigger screen and joy con2 controllers are a great upgrade. The joy con2 ergonomically feel much better than their predecessors. Game play has been fun and enjoyable.

Switch 2 Is Where It's At
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily one of my favorite gaming consoles yet Bringing the nostalgia of simple, intuitive Nintendo controls to portable gaming. The amount of fun I've been able to have with friends and family has been great. Games play smoothly out of the dock and the graphical presentation on an OLED monitor is stunning. The system itself is sturdy and has classy presentational look about it that won't look akward in a living room setup. Has been a great way to pass the time on my work commutes on the train. If you can get one, which was a painless process on the Best Buy app, I can't recommend it enough.

It was time to Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first generation Nintendo Switch, which was enjoyable. But, it was time. Improved performance, graphics, and a larger size….it was just time! PLUS, picked up Mario Cart World in the bundle, which was a welcomed discount as opposed to buying separately.

Better performance less thought out
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch 2 is just a better performing switch 1 (the obvoius i know) if you got an oled or og just stick with that most games at the time of review don't take advantage of the better specs anyway. The weight of the console undocked doesn't sound like a problem until you realise how unergonomic it is the weight makes it harder to keep steady especially on car rides, which admittedly is just a minor annyonce until your aiming in any game.(seriously why not add a slight bump or some texture to the joycons it shouldn't cost much more.) So in short bigger more powerful switch they really should have done more with the exterior.

Fun, Fast, and a Big Step Up from the Original
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is everything I hoped for and more. The graphics are sharper, load times are faster, and the battery life is noticeably improved. The new screen is vibrant and smooth whether playing handheld or docked. Pairing it with Mario Kart World was the perfect choice, it’s fast, colorful, and great for family game nights. Setup was quick, the controls feel solid, and the performance is flawless so far. If you loved the first Switch, this upgrade is 100% worth it.

The best purchase for the family
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 isn't just a generational leap; it’s a total paradigm shift for handheld gaming. For years, we dreamt of a device that could bridge the gap between home console power and portable freedom without compromise, and Nintendo has finally delivered the holy grail. At the heart of the hype is the jaw-dropping 7.9-inch 1080p display. While the original Switch was revolutionary, seeing the Switch 2’s screen push a 120Hz refresh rate with HDR10 support makes every other handheld feel like a relic. Whether you’re drifting through Mario Kart World or exploring the neon streets of Midgar, the clarity and fluid motion are hypnotic. Under the hood, the NVIDIA Ampere-based architecture and 12GB of RAM are absolute game-changers. With the power of DLSS upscaling, this machine handles titles that used to make high-end PCs sweat, outputting a crisp 4K resolution when docked.

Great Successor to the Nintendo Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A clear upgrade over the original Nintendo Switch in nearly every way. Far better performance, great build quality (the system feels great to play in handheld mode), and most Switch games work through backwards compatibility in addition to the growing library of Switch 2 games. My only disappointment is that the battery life is a little lacking, but it's still good enough in most cases.

Ultimate Game System
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Super Nintendo Switch 2 is much better than the 1st Switch, better graphics, bigger screen and much easier to navigate through the system. It is a must have for a gaming enthusiast like myself. Why have a Playstation 5 when you can have the best device that you can take anywhere.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 has been such a great addition to our home! Me and the kiddos absolutely love it—it’s one of our favorite ways to bond and spend quality time together. Whether we’re playing Mario Kart, co-op adventures, or just switching up games, there’s always something fun for everyone. The graphics and performance are a big step up from the original, and the versatility between handheld and TV mode is perfect for our busy family life. It’s more than just a gaming console—it’s become part of our family routine. Highly recommend for families looking to connect and have fun together!

Exactly what Switch 1 fans were asking for
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bigger screen, more power, better game quality. The Switch 2 checks all of those boxes that Switch 1 owners had. I'm 20 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and having a blast. 100% satisfied with the purchase. 4 stars are ONLY due to battery life during demanding games (it was to be expected). But overall an amazing console and even better handheld. Buy one as soon as you're able to! (Retail)

Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario kart world
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World is a stellar step up in Nintendo’s hybrid gaming lineup. The upgraded hardware shines with a crisp 7.9″ 1080p screen, smoother graphics, and responsive performance whether you’re playing handheld or docked on a large screen. The magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers feel more solid and ergonomic than previous models, and the overall build quality feels premium and durable. Mario Kart World is a standout launch title. It pushes the franchise forward with a sprawling world that lets you race seamlessly across interconnected courses, dynamic weather, and varied environments that feel fresh and exciting. You will love the open world exploration and smooth online play, making it one of the franchise’s most ambitious entries yet. Backward compatibility opens up the entirety of the switch one’s gaming library and even optimizes many prior games to run much smoother on the new hardware, breathing life back into some games. Overall I love the system and look forward to Nintendo and other developers squeezing every ounce of power out of this hybrid system.

Great upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with added performance. Was worth waiting to start and finish TOTK. The bigger screen size is nice but something like Dbrand’s Killswitch makes it much more comfortable to game on. The screen feels pretty nice considering the overall package and honestly I play docked on an OLED screen most of the time away. Considering the price of stuff like the ROG XBOX Ally, the price to performance feels pretty good to me

Favorite for 6 and 8 year olds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system is so kid friendly, but fun for the parents too! Definitely glad we purchased the bundle with MarioKart included. Love that we can take this on the go and the screen is big enough for both of them to play together on the go. Highly recommend for intro to video games for kids.

Great Console, Needs More Games
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing console with excellent battery life! I’ve been using the Switch 2 for about 2 months now and enjoy how light weight, versatile, and fast this console is. I’ve played Mario Kart, Fortnite, and Hades 2 and each game has run flawlessly and smooth! What’s truly lacking is more Switch 2 titles, which Nintendo has been really slow to release - Pokemon isn’t available until mid-Oct and Meteor Prime doesn’t come out until the end of the year.
