Bought this because I’m on the road a lot and I’m always looking for a good way to game. This was a massive upgrade from my original switch that I had years ago!

Switch 2 and Mario Kart World

I was super excited for the Switch 2 and decided to get the version that came with Mario Kart World since it’s actually cheaper than buying a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World separately. The system itself is amazing and is much better feeling than the OG Switch. Mario Kart World is an insanely fun game as well and I would easily recommend both to anyone looking to get a new gaming system or a new game to play.

The main menu is a lot smoother over the OLED switch. The screen is a lot bigger as well. Worth the upgrade if you primarily use it as a portable console.

We just love and play this all of the time! Good fun for the whole family and its so great to be able to play the old games and downloads, and most of the old controllers on it as well and retire the old Switch to the box. Beautiful graphics! A bit pricey though than it should be. But its Nintendo and we always buy them going back to the 80s!

Got this for my son, he loves it. We love that it's bigger than the switch 1, and so far we've had no troubles with anything on it or playing any games. We only have 5 games so far but the storage seems to be better on this one? Best buy also had very fast pickup. 10/10

    Upgraded Switch New MarioKart

We got this to play the new Mario Kart and it didn't disappoint. It really is a switch 2, with backwards compatibility (was easy to transfer my digital game library over). Feels and looks better than the OG switch. Like everything about it except the dock. They've made it so you have to use it to hook up to a TV. With the old Switch you could use a powered USB-C to HDMI dongle, which was sooooo much better for travel. If you need a switch, get this, not the switch 1, you'll be sad you won't be able to play the latest and greatest.

It’s finally here and all its glory! The Nintendo switch 2 (with the Mario kart world bundle) has offered hours of exquisite fun to me and the rest of the entourage! We like to play after long diplomatic gatherings to unwind :)

Theres nothing short of excellence with this system. It is backwards compatible with the first Switch system, easy to charge, and we can travel with it just like other Nintendo products. Love it!

Ive had mine a couple weeks now and its a really nice upgrade from the OG one. The screen looks great and games run fast and smooth. Had to recalibrate the battery, but that was an easy fix

I’ll start with the high definition resolution which makes older games feel like new again. Specifically Zelda BOTW and Zelda TOTK. It also has quicker loading/refresh rate times. The controllers are larger and have a new magnetic snap to lock vs the slide to lock, making them easier to remove and charge. I purchased the Bundle with the new Mario Kart World and have tons of fun with family and friends! Now just waiting in new games to come out hopefully for the holidays. 10 out of 10 recommend!

The system has been great so far. I haven't played video games in many years and a lot has changed, so it's taking a little time to figure things out. I got it for me and the grands to have fun on and it's been great! Just wish the accessories weren't so expensive!

Battery life is not as long as prior models. (Around 2-3 hours). System also is prone to getting overly warm in handheld and docked mode.

Yes, this is an expensive piece of hardware. However, this is also an investment in the future of Nintendo. This is truly a better Switch if you're a gaming enthusiast. A bonus is that the vast majority of your Switch library will not only work on this device, it'll run better than ever before. I still use my switch pro controller with the switch 2, however, it won't wake up the console because it's not a "Switch 2" controller - an easy work around is to just tap the power button on the docked console before you sit down. The device feels premium and less toy-like than the original Switch. If I had young kids, I would probably keep them on the original for now.

Great console. High-quality device. Larger and feels more premium than OG switch. Going to be even easier to recommend once the library inevitably fills up in the years to come.

I bought this for my son. Overall it's a very nice unit and upgrade from the switch 1. Recently, the right controller started having issues and I'm not sure why. It's only 2 months or so old. Maybe it's a glitch? But, I do like the graphics and usability overall. The only other thing that was a little off-putting is you have to buy a special micro SD and can't use the old one. Also, the charger from the last one doesn't work correctly with this Nintendo base. I feel like Nintendo should create hardware that can transfer each of those small items over because it ends up being an extra 100-200 dollars on top.

An excellent upgrade the original switch. Im glad nintendo didnt go crazy and completly change everything. All I wanted was a graphics and performace boost and thats what I got. Only bad thing is not a great launch line-up as far as games. The only new game is Mario Kart which is great, but I wish there were multiple games avaiable at launch.
