Amazing Console for Kids & Families
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got the Switch 2 mainly for the kids, and honestly, they love it. It’s become their go-to console almost every day. The games look better, load faster, and everything just feels smoother compared to the original Switch. The new controllers are more comfortable for small hands, and it’s great that they can play both at home and on the go. Family game nights have been a lot more fun too—easy to jump in, lots of kid-friendly titles, and even adults enjoy playing along. Setup was simple, and the system feels solid and well built. Cons: The biggest downside is the battery life. In handheld mode, it doesn’t last as long as we hoped, especially with more demanding games. We usually have to keep a charger or power bank nearby. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall: Despite the battery not being great, the Switch 2 has been a huge hit in our house. The kids are happy, we’re happy, and it’s a great upgrade for families who enjoy gaming together.

Gaming Geek
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is everything I hoped for and more. Nintendo has truly leveled up with this console, delivering an incredible blend of innovation, performance, and pure fun. First, the upgraded visuals are absolutely stunning. Games look sharper, brighter, and more detailed than ever before. Whether I’m playing on the TV or in handheld mode, everything feels smooth and vibrant. The improved display makes colors pop, and the enhanced performance means gameplay is fluid and responsive, even in fast-paced action scenes. One of the best parts is how seamlessly it transitions between docked and handheld play. That flexibility is what makes Nintendo special, and the Switch 2 perfects it. It’s powerful enough to feel like a home console, yet portable enough to take anywhere without sacrificing quality. The updated Joy-Cons feel more refined and comfortable, with improved responsiveness and a solid build quality. Multiplayer is still an absolute blast — whether locally with friends or online, the experience is smooth and easy to set up. Load times are faster, storage is more generous, and the overall system interface feels polished and intuitive. Nintendo has clearly listened to fans and improved on everything that made the original great. Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 delivers a fantastic next-generation experience while keeping the creativity and charm Nintendo is known for. It’s powerful, versatile, and incredibly fun — easily one of the best gaming investments I’ve made.

Nintendo switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nintendo Switch 2 — Absolutely Worth It! The Nintendo Switch 2 is everything I hoped for and more. The upgraded performance makes games run smoother and look better than ever, and the new screen is bright, crisp, and a huge step up from the original. I love how quickly it switches between handheld and docked mode, and the improved battery life really makes a difference on the go. Nintendo kept the charm of the original Switch but added the power and features fans have been waiting for. Whether you’re a longtime Nintendo fan or new to the system, the Switch 2 feels like the perfect all-around console. Highly recommended!

A Fun and Powerful Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been really enjoying the Nintendo Switch 2. It’s sleek, responsive, and truly brings the joy of handheld and docked gaming together beautifully. The performance is excellent. Games load swiftly, visuals are crisp, and the system handles multitasking and large titles effortlessly. Whether navigating menus or jumping into fast-paced gameplay, the experience feels smooth and polished. Storage capacity is decent out of the box, but pure digital gamers will want to add a micro-SD card sooner rather than later. Given the high console price, I’d prefer a bit more built-in flexibility, but I appreciate that expanding storage is straightforward when needed. Controllers feel solid and responsive so far. I’m keeping an eye on potential stick drift, but at this stage, everything is working great, and the ergonomics are comfortable for extended play sessions. Joy-Con fit is a mixed bag. Compared to the OLED model, the Joy-Con 2 feel noticeably larger and more rounded. That’s totally expected given the bigger 7.9-inch screen and chunkier chassis. For my hands, it’s a bit more to grip, but not uncomfortable, in fact, the size contributes to a more substantial, premium feel. It’s a fair trade-off. Extra breadth adds heft, but also makes the controls feel more solid and intentional. Mario Kart World is where my main frustrations lie. The game leans heavily on “intermission” tracks. Long, straight cross-country connections that feel more like filler than fun. They break the flow of actual racing, replacing the classic three-lap circuits that made the series iconic. Before a recent patch, “Random” votes in online mode reliably brought back traditional multi-lap races. Now, “Random” often selects these intermission tracks instead, making three-lap races rare unless you play via friend-only or custom lobbies. Community feedback has been loud: many players find three-lap tracks more engaging and better designed, while intermissions feel generic and repetitive. It seems Nintendo is prioritizing the open-world structure, even if it comes at the expense of player choice and the classic race experience.

Solid Upgrade From Switch 1
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, spent some good time with the Switch 2, and here's the lowdown: It still feels like a Switch, just a bit bigger and more solid. The 1080p, 120Hz screen is a clear upgrade, making games look sharper and smoother. Those new magnetic Joy-Cons are awesome – super satisfying to attach, and they feel much more secure. Performance-wise, it's definitely got more power. Games run smoother, and everything feels snappier. It's not a powerhouse like other consoles, but it's a huge step up for portable gaming. Should you upgrade? If you have the original Switch, yes, definitely. If you've got an OLED, it's still a really nice upgrade for the performance and new features, but maybe not a total must-have. Basically, it's everything good about the Switch, just... better.

Nintendo’s Best Yet!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another amazing system from Nintendo! Their best yet! As for games, I have medium to low expectations for Donkey Kong Bananza but am THRILLED with how vast and amazing it is! The Zelda upgrades are incredible. The system is so much better with the bigger and more beautiful scream. And the controllers are a thousand times better with the magnetic connections. This is a must have game system!

A good improvement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positives: Big and beautiful screen, almost Oled like for colors and contrast. Improved gtaphics and smoothness. Runs games much better and they look great. When playing multiplayer the controllers are much more comfortable and easier to use due to their size increase. Same familiar experience for the UI, if you know how to use a regular switch, you wont need to figure out hot to use this one. Extra usb C port, better more adjustable stand, and access to bigger games due to the performance increase. Plays switch cartridges. The build on hard drive space of 256GB is more than plenty to hold tons of games. Negatives: battery life is notably worse but, just means you need a battery pack or charger nearby for extended sessions. Hand held mode has terrible ergonomics. As an adult with smaller hands it hurts to use after a short time. Taking the controllers off and using the accessory that links them together is infinitely more comfortable. Game prices are ridiculous. You cannot use a standard mini SD card anymore. It Must be an SD Express which currently only comes in smaller sizes, its not even needed though because games are much much smaller and you can fit tons as mentioned. Final Thoughts: I sold my oled switch in advance knowing this was coming. I have yet to finish games like Zelda so I will benefit playing older games with the improvements in performance. Its a good buy if you can sell your previous switch for this just because its better in every way except battery life, which can be mitigated. If youve beaten all the previous switch games then im not sure this is worth it. Its very expense with only one to two launch titles. I did not get far in cyberpunk so I may get it. It just depends on your situation. I would not have any FOMO though because theres only a few games that are “new” some of which you may not even care to play or beat already.

Great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo Switch 2 Console Review The Nintendo Switch 2 is a remarkable leap forward for Nintendo’s hybrid gaming platform, successfully building on the strengths of the original Switch while addressing many of its limitations. Design & Build The Switch 2 maintains the iconic hybrid design, allowing seamless transition between handheld and docked modes. The slimmer bezels, larger 8-inch OLED display, and lighter weight make gaming on the go more comfortable and visually stunning. The new Joy-Con controllers feel sturdier and more ergonomic, with improved analog sticks that reduce drift issues. Performance Powered by an upgraded custom processor, the Switch 2 delivers smoother gameplay and faster load times. Games that previously struggled, like open-world titles, now run in 60 FPS in handheld mode and up to 4K upscaled when docked. Battery life has also been extended, averaging 6-8 hours depending on the game. Game Library & Backward Compatibility At launch, the console supports all original Switch titles and offers enhancements for select games. New first-party titles showcase the console’s power, with sharper visuals and more complex environments. The inclusion of a larger internal storage and expandable memory slot makes digital gaming much easier. Online & Features Nintendo has upgraded its online services with quicker connections, cloud saves, and better matchmaking. The new interface is cleaner and more intuitive, with improved eShop navigation. Pros: Stunning OLED display with better portability Significant performance boost and faster load times Backward compatibility with original Switch games Improved Joy-Con design and battery life Cons: Still lags behind PS5 and Xbox Series X in raw power Limited launch lineup of next-gen exclusives Verdict: The Nintendo Switch 2 is a must-have for both new and returning fans. It refines the hybrid concept to near perfection, combining portability, performance, and a growing game library in one versatile package. Rating: 9/10

Almost the handheld you're looking for...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Greatly improved from it's predecessor. The controllers are much better with the magnetic attachment although I'm unsure why the sticks aren't Hall effect given this thing is brand new. I do like the mouse style functionality that the joy cons can assume which is a neat addition but its a bit gimmicky and probably not comfortable to use long term. Nintendo added a second USB-C port on the top of the system so you can plug chargers or accessories in on the bottom or top of the device. The screen size is bigger and I prefer the dock on this one as well as the improved storage capacity although I wish 3rd party docks like my Mirabox 36W (Switch 1) dock were compatible so I could take a second one without having to unplug everything from the TV. Performance is much improved and 4K looks great for Zelda (if you buy the upgrade... ) but battery life is still not the best and it needs MicroSD express cards to expand the internal storage so your old SD cards aren't compatible. I think if they'd opted for a 2230 NVME instead, it would have been a better expansion solution than the cards but I get there's a lot to cram into a small space. Overall a solid upgrade for the switch but could benefit from some minor tweaks. I'd love a variant/2nd gen model with a 1tb NVME, Hall effect controllers and a larger battery.

Pricey but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Improved CPU and graphics really make this console a great upgrade from the OLED Switch. I really like how the controller attaches magnetically attaches to the main console. I really appreciate that most controllers from the prior generation is compatible with this one, just wished that I could use the older memory cards. While the battery life seems to be less, it’s expected for a more powerful system. Overall, this is another great console from Nintendo.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is a fantastic upgrade with a sharper screen, smoother performance, and smart design improvements that make this handheld and docked play better than ever. Backward compatibility is excellent but haven’t tried the new features like GameChat yet, so don’t have a take on that. Battery life could be better, but overall it’s a good console that’s absolutely worth it for Nintendo fans.

Nintendo Switch 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is a great console. I like the upgraded graphics and that it’s faster when scrolling through the eshop. It is a good deal with the Mario Kart included since it’s a $80 game so you save $30. One of the few things this new system is lacking is new games when it first came out. It should have came out with DK banaza to go along with Mario Kart because Mario Kart was is a short game but the graphics are really good and it is a fun game. The great thing about the Nintendo Switch 2 is that it backwards compatible. One other thing about Nintendo is that they should make more physical game cartridges and get rid of the game key cards. Digital is ok but I’d rather have a physical copy or digital copy because you can’t play the game if you don’t have game key cartridge in the system if you want to play a game that is game key cartridge and if you have digital version there’s no need to worry about it you have game key cartridge. Having physical games available is what gives a better experience when buying new video games. People want something to look at and hold and is better for those who like to trade or collect. But overall the Nintendo Switch 2 is a good console which I believe will be even better with time as new Nintendo Switch 2 games are released that take advantage of the new systems hardware. I ask Nintendo to please take their time with pokemon generation 10 and other future legends games because when you make the graphics not just for the pokemon but for the environment better you’ll see better feedback and sales. Also if possible make different difficulty modes like easy/normal/hard would make the games more challenging and fun. Also making good music for the games will be Make the games more fun! I look forward to the new Yoshi and hope to see a new Mario maker 3 , new 2d Mario and also don’t forget about Starfox !! Star fox was missed last generation and would help give the other IPs a break . A brand new starfox in 4K would be awesome and addition to starfox zero remaster in 4K with adjustment of controls because Wii U was a little awkward and star fox 64 remake !

A worthy upgrade that is so much fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is everything I hoped for in an upgrade. It has a bigger, sharper screen that makes handheld gaming a lot more immersive, and the new Joy-Cons feel sturdier and more comfortable. Games run smoother and look better, especially docked in 4K. Upgrades packs for Switch games - at least the ones I’ve tried - are worth it. Zelda Breath of the Wild and Zelda Tears of the Kingdom both look incredible. The Switch 2 is backwards compatible, so games that don’t have an upgrade are still playable. Battery life could be better when playing demanding games, and I do wish it had an OLED display like the Switch OLED model. That said, this is a fantastic system that feels like a natural step up from the original.

Great console, bad battery duration
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle, and overall, I’m very impressed with what Nintendo has delivered this time. The console feels solid and well-built, with a clear emphasis on quality. The Joy-Con 2 controllers have a magnificent magnetic attachment that makes connecting and removing them feel smooth and satisfying – a big upgrade from the original. One of my favorite improvements is the larger screen, which offers bright colors, sharp resolution, and great visibility, even in bright environments. Whether you’re racing in Mario Kart World or exploring another game, the visuals look fantastic. Another major plus is backward compatibility. I love that I can still play my Nintendo Switch 1 games on this new console. It saves money and lets me continue enjoying my old favorites without needing to repurchase anything. As for the Mario Kart World game included in the bundle, it’s an exciting upgrade to the classic. It combines traditional tracks with new, global-inspired courses and adds more online features and challenges that keep the gameplay fresh and competitive. The only concern I have so far is the battery life. While it’s not terrible, I feel it could last longer, especially during longer play sessions in handheld mode. Hopefully, future updates or newer versions improve on this. Final Thoughts: If you’re a Nintendo fan or someone looking for a high-quality, portable gaming console with a strong library of games, the Nintendo Switch 2 – especially with this Mario Kart World bundle – is a great choice. Just be aware of the battery duration if you plan to game on the go for long hours.

Larger, Higher Resolution & Graphics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only plaid a few games on this console but so far it is pretty nice. The screen is much larger, the graphics and resolution looks great and the controllers are comfortable. Though it is bigger, it feels more cumbersome to hold as hand held, but the detachable controllers are nice. It's much easier to use them as single controllers too since they are larger and the kick stand on the screen is much better to balance on a table. If you have the spare money to upgrade to the switch 2, it's worth it.
