    Amazing Nintendo product... as usual!

Nintendo again hits it out of the proverbial ballpark! The Switch 2 takes everything we loved about the Switch and kicks it up two levels. A lot of people say it's just an upgraded Switch... but in hand, it definitely feels like the next evolution in Nintendo consoles. It takes what they learned from the Switch and improve where it's needed, but keep the core experience unchanged. This is somewhat different from the usual Nintendo experience, but it maintains backwards compatibility with the thousands of Switch 1 games which is an excellent pro-customer move by Nintendo. Usually they try to sell a new system exclusive version of a franchise game. They still are with Mario Kart... but at least my old MK8, Smash Bros, Mario Odyssey, etc will all work on this system. In fact, many old games work BETTER than they ever have before. Some require a small upgrade fee, but many are just improved. Overall, this is a very affordable entry point into the world of mobile as well as console gaming. I keep mine with me wherever I go. Standing in line at the grocery store? Yup, playing Pokemon. Waiting for my wife to get off work? Playing Donkey Kong. It's a very impressive system. Don't let the degenerate Youtubers make you think otherwise. Most of them are just sour that Nintendo didn't give them free systems this time.

I recently bought a Nintendo Switch, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! The flexibility of being able to play on the TV or on the go is amazing, and the performance is super smooth. Games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe look great and run flawlessly. The Joy-Cons are fun to use, especially for multiplayer sessions with friends and family. It’s the perfect mix of fun, portability, and great game selection—definitely worth every penny!

The Ultimate Family Console: Seamless Fun

As a family of four, finding a gaming system that works for everyone—from the adults to our 12-and 9 year-old—isn’t easy. The Nintendo Switch 2 has honestly been one of the best upgrades we’ve made for our home entertainment, and here’s why. First, the improvements are noticeable right away. The new screen is brighter and sharper, which makes a huge difference when the kids are playing in handheld mode. Our 12-year-old loves the smoother graphics and faster load times, especially for action games. For the adults, it just feels more polished and modern. What we liked most is how family-friendly it is. With so many of us, the ability to quickly switch between docked mode and handheld is a lifesaver. We can have a group playing Mario Kart on the TV while someone else uses the handheld for homework breaks or quiet time. The upgraded Joy-Cons feel sturdier too—important in a house where controllers get “enthusiastically” used. Multiplayer nights are where the Switch 2 shines. The system handles multiple users and profiles easily. Local multiplayer feels smoother, and online play has been much more stable compared to our old Switch. If we had one complaint, it’s that some of the accessories and extra controllers add up in cost when buying for the family. But the quality of the system itself makes it worth it. Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 has been a great fit for our large family and especially for our 12-year-old and 9- year old, who use it daily. It’s fast, fun, and flexible—exactly what we needed.

As someone coming from the multicolored red and blue Nintendo switch this was a huge upgrade for me. My switch was basically on its last leg and it didn’t make sense for me to buy a replacement or to buy an Oled when I knew the switch 2 was coming out so I held on and just hoped my switch didn’t give out before the release date. Comparing this to my Og switch the screen size and brightness alone was worth it. The quality of the pixels on games are also a huge upgrade. Playing splatoon 3 feels more smooth now for me and the graphics is amazing. Batter life could be better but it also depends on what games you’re playing, I get about 5 hours on splatoon 3, 3 hours on cyberpunk 2077, and 3 hours on Mario kart world.

The Switch 2 is a strong upgrade with a bigger 1080p screen, sturdier Joy-Con 2 controllers, and smoother performance in both handheld and docked mode (up to 4K). Backward compatibility and launch exclusives like Mario Kart World make it appealing, though battery life is shorter and the $449.99 price is steep. Overall, it’s a polished much better system then the first generation switch.

I picked up the Switch 2 with the Mario Kart World bundle and it has been awesome from the start. The Switch 2 is noticeably faster than the original system. Menus load quicker, games start almost instantly, and everything feels smoother overall. The upgraded screen makes a big difference too. Colors look brighter, details are clearer, and it just feels more modern to use whether I’m playing handheld or docked. The new Joy-Cons feel sturdier and more comfortable in the hand. I haven’t had any drifting or connection issues. The whole system feels like a proper upgrade while still keeping everything people loved about the original. Mario Kart World included in the bundle is a great bonus. It plays perfectly on the new hardware with smooth performance and vibrant visuals. It’s one of those games that’s fun whether you’re playing alone or with friends, and having it included makes this bundle feel like a really good value. Setting up the console was quick and simple. Transferring data from my old Switch didn’t take long, and connecting to my TV was plug and play. Storage feels more generous than before and I like that I can still expand it with a microSD card if I need to. Overall, this bundle feels like the best way to jump into the Switch 2. You get the upgraded console plus a top tier game right out of the box. Whether you’re upgrading or buying a Switch for the first time, this is definitely the bundle to go with.

Nintendo Switch 2: A Brilliant Evolution

From the moment you pick it up, the system feels more premium and responsive. Performance is noticeably smoother, with faster load times and sharper visuals that elevate both new releases and returning favorites. Games run more consistently, even in handheld mode, without sacrificing the portability that made the original Switch so iconic. What truly stands out is how seamless the experience feels. Backward compatibility allows existing Switch games to shine with improved stability and clarity, making the upgrade feel instantly rewarding. The improved controllers are more comfortable for longer play sessions, and subtle UI enhancements make navigating the system faster and more intuitive. Most importantly, the Switch 2 preserves Nintendo’s core strength: fun. Whether you’re playing docked on a TV with friends or curled up on the couch in handheld mode, the console delivers the same sense of joy and accessibility that defines Nintendo at its best. The Switch 2 isn’t just a successor, it’s a confident step forward. For longtime fans and newcomers alike, it’s a console that feels thoughtfully designed, future-ready, and unmistakably Nintendo.

Hands down, the best portable video game console I’ve ever played with. The upgrades from the switch 1 are immense, all the new features, improved battery life and better performance makes the switch 2 a product that I won’t regret to buy.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a pc gamer and so I will not be comparing this to any pc handhelds. I primarily purchased this console for the Nintendo exclusives. The Nintendo Switch 2 has met my expectations while disappointing me on some other fronts. I'll begin with the screen. Having been a original switch (non-oled) owner for 6 years, this screen is a MASSIVE upgrade. The brightness is way better, and the "hdr" is a great feature and makes games like TOTK really stand out. The performance is also much improved but this is where I got into my first caveat. The games ONLY look that much better when they A) have a Switch 2 edition or B) have reveved a free switch 2 update. Otherwise you are not going to notice a difference, and because of scaling issues with the larger screen, some games might actually look worse in handheld mode. Another caveat is the battery life. Long story short, you can expect about 2.5 hrs. when playing any game that has been optimized or made for the Switch 2 in handheld mode. However, if you look beyond these minor issues, the console is a great evolution of the original and feels more like a serious computer and competitor to the PS5 than a kids toy.

I love my switch 2~ it's been a few months, still works great, no stick drift or problems. The battery dies fast, but its never been too much of a problem for me personally. Feels much better than a switch 1, although it's a bit heavy. Mario Kart World itself is kinda mid, but I don't regret getting it at a discount with the bundle. The download was pretty seemless when I got it. $500 is a hefty price to pay, but I think it was well worth it~

I had high expectations and waited so long for this console, and I can say those expectations were not only met but surpassed. The hardware itself overall is just a much more premium and nicer feeling experience. The new Joy-cons are a huge improvement over the originals. Bigger, higher quality buttons, and just a better more satisfying ergonomic feel, especially when playing in handheld. The way they just snap onto the magnetic rails is just pure magic. Perfectly satisfying and super seamless. The screen itself is once again a huge improvement. Not an OLED, but the increased resolution and overall higher quality LCD display looks miles better than the original Switch 1 display. There’s so many more small Improvements as well like bigger SR SL buttons, better kickstand, better dock design, and much much better built in speakers. I seriously respect the incredibly talented engineers who designed it all as it’s clear a lot of care and effort went into its design. With the original switch I mostly played dock as I felt handheld was an inferior experience compared to dock play. I’m so glad with the switch 2 that the experience in dock and handheld is much closer, so I find myself switching between them more and it’s even more seamless in that both dock and handheld feel like a high-quality gaming experience. It really feels like the vision of the switch is now fully realized when I play in handheld and it genuinely feels like I’m having a full TV console level experience, but in the palm of my hands. It’s nothing short of magic. Of course, the games are what’s most important and, yep, Mario Kart World alone makes this console worth it. It’s a magical gaming experience like no other. It’s so much fun. Then there’s also the fact that pretty much every game from your switch 1 collection is compatible and many games run even better, which I feel adds SO much value to the console. The performance across many different games is fantastic, just super crisp and buttery smooth. There's also so many more fantastic games coming this year that I'm excited for like DK bananaza, Metroid prime 4, Hyrule warriors: Age of imprisonment, and more. The only problem I can think of with It is that HDR calibration was a bit tricky and annoying. Then again, I now know it’s because I have an older 2019 4k TV. If it was a modern one that had HDR tone mapping, it would have been much easier so it’s not even a Switch 2 specific problem. That’s it really. I still can’t believe it myself just how perfect this console is. It’s the Switch perfected in every way. I genuinely believe this is the most fun and joyful device ever made.

I picked up the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle and it’s been a great value. The console is easy to set up and works well whether playing on the TV or in handheld mode. Having Mario Kart World included in the bundle is a big plus since it’s one of the most fun games to play with friends and family. The performance of the Switch 2 feels smooth and the graphics look great while gaming. Overall, this bundle is a great choice if you’re looking to get the new console along with one of the most popular multiplayer games right away. Pros: Great bundle value, fun multiplayer game included, versatile console Cons: Storage space can fill up quickly if you download many games

I Went to gamestop first to attempt to buy my mario kart world bundle because thats the only franchise i buy my consoles and games from even play n trade but they went out of business. So Due to bad experiences with gamestop i went next door to best buy and maannn i dont regret my decision what so ever the retailers who helped me that worked in the homewood/glenwood area of Illinois were so nice, kind and very patient so if i need to buy anything else in the future i will be back to that specific location for sure. They didn’t have none in stock so it was shipped to me Package was delivered today few hours ago, setting it up was a breeze, downloaded the game from eshop as seen online and I haven’t been able to put it down since taking it out the box. I absolutely dont regret buying my FIRST EVER SWITCH

An excellent successor to the original Switch console. It takes everything awesome about the original and adds some new features and QoL uodates to keep the avid Nintendo fan happy. Over 60+ hours of playtime with the new system already and it performs like a dream, with a larger screen, buttons, and an extra USB-C port for charging/ accessories. With more Switch 2 updates for last gen games likely coming in the future, it adds a lot of value with performance improvements in certain games and the eshop is night day compared to the original switch, with next to no waiting around for it to load.

The Switch 2 is a big improvement on the first one in MOST ways. Its biggest shortcoming is the battery life. This thing drains FAST! I think I get an hour of gameplay at most before I have to plug it in. Despite this, the visual fidelity is improved on, and the games run smoothly thus far. I am also a really big fan of the size. I have really big hands, so for me it’s quite comfortable. I know that won’t be the same for everyone though. Overall, pretty fun system! Also you are REALLY gonna want to buy one of those Express SD Cards. I know the system already comes with 256GB of storage, but if you are transferring your old Switch data to the new one, then I imagine that will run low pretty quickly. I wouldn’t get anything lower than a 512 GB one. Just some advice. Do with it what you may.

I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 for a few months now, and honestly, it feels like its what i have been looking for. The first thing I noticed is the screen. It’s brighter, sharper, and the colors look way better than LCD screen and very similar to OLED NS1. Games like Mario World 2 and the new Zelda just pop on this display. Load times are also way faster, which makes jumping into games feel almost instant. Performance-wise, it’s a big step up. Games run smoother and look cleaner, and I haven’t heard the fan spin like a jet engine. When playing on dock, you may hear spin a little since performing on 2k screen and i enjoyed playing Split fiction on it. The new Joy-Cons are surprisingly solid. Better grip, no drift so far, and they feel more durable. Docking and undocking the console is smoother too. Overall, it still feels like a Switch — just finally modern. If you loved the original but always wanted better performance and a better screen, this is the one. I’m really happy with my purchase and honestly didn’t expect it to be this big of a difference.

I recently purchased the Nintendo Switch and I’m very happy with it. The ability to switch between handheld mode and playing on the TV is incredibly convenient and works seamlessly. Whether I’m playing solo or with others, the experience is smooth and enjoyable. The console is easy to set up and navigate, and the controls feel responsive and comfortable. I really like how portable it is it’s perfect for gaming at home or on the go. The game selection is excellent, with a great mix of family-friendly games, multiplayer options, and more immersive titles. Battery life has been solid so far, and the system runs well without lag or issues. It feels well-built and durable, and everything works exactly as expected right out of the box. Overall, the Nintendo Switch delivers a lot of value and fun. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile gaming system that works for all ages and play styles!

I'm loving the bigger screen and Joy cons on the Switch 2. Everything about the system seems better than the original Switch. My only complaints are that with the size increase it is a little more awkward to hold for longer periods if that's how's you play it and the battery could stand to be a bit better. Can't do half stars though so I stuck with 5 stars based on all the other improvements making this console worth the upgrade.
