The FPS increase and smoother performance for older games makes the purchase worth it by itself, but having Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza really made the purchase worth it!

While I do miss Nintendo being different/weird, this is greatly welcome! Looking forward to the 1st party lineup to come!

But after spending some time with it I'm very glad I made the investment. Games look great and I've been having a lot of fun with Mario Kart

The controls and screen feel like an upgrade but the “new” game list is pretty sparse. Very happy with the purchase but despite the hype, probably nothing wrong with waiting for 6 months to upgrade.

Took a break from gaming for a minute and the wife and I decided to start small with a Switch 2 and some games. Everything was so simple and we absolutely love it!

The system transfer was smooth and the hardware feels so nice in the hand--way more solid than the first switch ever did. The eshop experience is also leagues better than on the first switch, buttery smooth with no noticeable lag. Highly recommend picking up a screen protector of some kind, though. Was this a necessary purchase? Absolutely not. But it's a nice upgrade.
