Amazing Home-to-Travel Gaming in One Device

I bought the Nintendo Switch 2 for my 8- and 10-year-old kids, and it’s been perfect for them. The best part is how easily it switches from handheld to TV mode—they play at home, take it outside, and continue right where they left off. The games, performance, and portability make it a better fit for our family than the PS5. Simple, fun, and great for young kids. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a family-friendly console.

Switch 2 is an improvement over the Switch 1 in almost every way. With better graphics and framerate as well. Even some switch 1 games run and look better on this. The transfer process from a Switch 1 to 2 was seamless and easy to follow. It also didn’t erase my old one after the transfer which I appreciated. Specs added that were not in the Switch 1: -HDR (Available in both handheld screen and through the dock to your tv) -VRR (As of now it is only available when playing on the handheld screen) -4k and 1440p resolution -120 fps (Available depending on the game, also doesn’t work with 4k resolution) -Bigger handheld screen

It's a great update with bigger screen, faster performance and more storage. Battery life could be better, but overall it's a strong improvement over Siwtch 1

I have been waiting for Nintendo's next console for a while, and I'm happy to say I'm really enjoying it so far, having been playing and using it for a little over a month now. I appreciate the substantial upgrade while having familiarity with the Switch 1. I mainly use it in docked mode with a TV, and it's excellent! New and older games I have played and tested work well, with some Switch 1 games getting a nice little performance bump to make the experience even better. Some things could be improved, such as the unfortunate lack of VRR in docked mode, as of now. (I am hopeful Nintendo can figure it out and bring it an update.) HDR calibration is a little weak, leading me to mess with TV settings and the console settings for a good image. And when I do use the console as a handheld, the battery life is less than desired. Not a terrible problem for me, as I primarily don't use it that way anyway. Still, it's also slightly uncomfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions. I even had the sides of the controllers pinch my skin a bit when holding it. However, it is definitely an improvement over the original, but still can be improved. Other than the price being a bit higher than I would or many appreciate for the console, and Switch 2 games, I still say it's worth it for people who have a Switch 1 to replay or experience new games, or someone who never had a Nintendo Switch at all as a great console to experience the hybrid console from Nintendo.

Not worth 450-500 by a long shot but I used gift cards accumulated through my employer. A solid performing and well bullt console. Cant wait to see what games come out to really push this hardware. Solid build quality. The screen and battery life are excellent. Sound is acceptable for a handheld. It annoys me that we have to buy upgrade packs to take advantage of the better performace on games already owned. As a PC gamer this feels like being robbed tbh. For this reason the switch 2 gets 4 stars. If it goes on sale or some amazing exlusive pops up (cough cough FROMSOFT) go for it. Otherwise its just not worth the money right now.

    A Worthy Upgrade

A worthy upgrade to the original Nintendo Switch. Bigger screen, better resolution, still has excellent battery life - and the Joycons are a bit bigger and it makes a difference! (Even though I’ll probably still buy a grip attachment) I’ve had the Nintendo Switch 2 for a little over a week and playing games on it has to be experienced because words can’t express how amazing Pokemon Violet feels at a smooth 60FPS… words can’t express the resolution bump and FPS bump Mario Odyssey (already perfect game) experience in this transition. And there are plenty others that’ve taken advantage of the Switch 2’s extra horsepower. The Nintendo Switch 2 is worth the upgrade. Thank you Nintendo. I look forward to another wonderful 7 years of gaming greatness.

I recently bought a Nintendo Switch, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! The flexibility of being able to play on the TV or on the go is amazing, and the performance is super smooth. Games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe look great and run flawlessly. The Joy-Cons are fun to use, especially for multiplayer sessions with friends and family. It’s the perfect mix of fun, portability, and great game selection—definitely worth every penny!

Nintendo Finally Perfected the Switch Formula

The Switch 2 with the Mario Kart World bundle is everything I hoped the next generation of Nintendo hardware would be. The system feels faster, smoother, and more refined in every way, while still keeping the simplicity and fun that made the original Switch so special. Mario Kart World is the perfect showcase title. The visuals are sharper, the performance is rock solid, and the larger tracks and expanded modes make it feel fresh without losing the classic Mario Kart charm. Whether you’re playing solo, online, or with friends on the couch, it’s pure fun from the moment you boot it up. The improved hardware really shines in both handheld and docked modes. Load times are noticeably faster, gameplay feels more responsive, and the display upgrade makes colors pop and motion look incredibly smooth. It still switches instantly between TV and handheld play, which remains one of Nintendo’s best ideas. What really stands out is how polished the experience feels. Setup is quick, the interface is clean, and everything just works. This bundle is an incredible value, you’re getting a flagship Nintendo system paired with a must-have game that shows exactly what the Switch 2 is capable of. If you’re upgrading from the original Switch or jumping into Nintendo for the first time, this bundle is a no-brainer. It’s fun, refined, and instantly feels like the future of Nintendo gaming.

I’ve had this Switch 2 for a month now and it has been so much fun to go back to gaming basics. Pokemon ZA Legends is so much fun and smooth on the Switch 2. I wish I would have bought it sooner. The only bad thing about it is that the battery lasts 2-3 hours on a full charge.

Ordered the Nintendo Switch 2 from Best Buy for in-store pickup and everything went smoothly. Pickup was fast and easy, and I was in and out within minutes. The Switch 2 itself feels like a solid upgrade—better screen, faster performance, and an overall more polished feel compared to the original. Setup was quick and painless. Very happy with the purchase and the pickup experience.

First off ive had a couple switch one consoles since release. Im actively still using my switch oled to this day. The Nintendo Switch 2 is not a huge generational leap from its predecessor, but is has alot of premium features that will help carry it to the future. The positives are the larger screen ans overall size, it personal fits the shape of my hands better. The new joycons connect and disconnect with a new magnet system that is amazing. The dock has a cooling fan and wired ethernet port for a fast connection. 4k 60 to 120 is a nice bump. Battery life in older games is decent and from the few plays throughts in cyberpunk im getting at least two hours of charge. So there are some cons. The screen is larger but after having a oled swtich this new screen will never compare to it. Hopefully Nintendo will release oled 2. New switch 2 games are few and far betweem with most being upgrades of previous games and only dockey kong really showcasing the new systems compatibility. Joy con drift will be a issue since they haven’t improved the sticks. My biggest complaint isnthe new digital only games in a case situation that they are currently doing. Some game will only come with a digital code, no cartridge

I wanted a console that’s easy to jump into and truly feels worthwhile right from the moment you open the box, and this bundle absolutely delivers. The Switch 2 feels polished and responsive, and pairing it with Mario Kart World creates the perfect "day one" experience—within minutes, you’re racing, laughing, and passing controllers around. What I love most is its flexibility: quick pick-up-and-play sessions in handheld mode or dock it to transform it into a living-room party machine. Mario Kart World is the kind of game that everyone can enjoy—kids, casual players, and competitive friends—because it’s simple to learn yet offers plenty of depth to master. The bundle's value is fantastic, too; getting the console and a top-tier game together makes the entire purchase feel like a no-brainer.I wanted a console that’s easy to jump into and actually feels worth it the moment you open the box, and this bundle absolutely delivers. Switch 2 is an upgrade in every way. No more lag from switch one games. Experience is so much better, bigger screen is nice. Disappointed in the release schedule of new games. Not many fun ones. DK got old fast. Pokémon is repetitive stimming garbage. Waiting for some real story games or at least try’s with story. It really improves switch 1 games though.

    A more powerful switch

I remember buying a Switch lite back in 2021, and I ended up returning it. I was disappointed in a lot of things - the system wasn't very powerful, the default storage ran out quickly, and it wasn't very ergonomic. The culmination of all of these flaws meant it didn't really feel like a console - it felt like a toy. I guess that's a silly distinction to make for devices meant for playing video games, but it's how I felt. The Switch 2 doesn't feel like that at all. It's pretty impressive how it keeps all of the things that worked about the Switch 1, just in a more powerful, appealing package. The kickstand is solid and versatile, instead of flimsy and weak. The screen is a beautiful, 1080p at a size that makes it shine. The new controllers aren't perfectly ergonomic, but they're a huge step up from the gen 1 Joy-Cons. It feels very comparable, and even better in a few ways to my Steam Deck, which is a huge accomplishment. My main reason for knocking off a star is that I don't think there's a huge reason to get one now, especially if you already own a Switch 1. The only real exclusive experience is has right now is Mario Kart, which is great, but probably not worth $500 on it's own. I think for most people, I would say to wait a few months. Give the developers time to made ports and Switch 2 upgrade packs, see what Nintendo reveals in the next direct.

Easily one of my favorite gaming consoles yet Bringing the nostalgia of simple, intuitive Nintendo controls to portable gaming. The amount of fun I've been able to have with friends and family has been great. Games play smoothly out of the dock and the graphical presentation on an OLED monitor is stunning. The system itself is sturdy and has classy presentational look about it that won't look akward in a living room setup. Has been a great way to pass the time on my work commutes on the train. If you can get one, which was a painless process on the Best Buy app, I can't recommend it enough.

Nintendo has done it again. They fixed a lot of the complaints from the switch 1 and made the switch 2 even better. Upload times are super fast and the bigger screen and joy con2 controllers are a great upgrade. The joy con2 ergonomically feel much better than their predecessors. Game play has been fun and enjoyable.
