Great follow-up to the Switch
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got the Swicth 2 at midnight release. It is a great console, following up to the first one, and while the display is not as good as the OLED model, it makes up for in size, better joy cons and capacity. We have a blast evrytime we play it, and that's what I like about the Switch 2: Everyone can play it, you can use it handheld or docked and it's easy to use.

Graphics, screen and battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our Nintendo Switch 2! It’s fast, smooth, and the graphics are a big step up from the first model. The bigger screen makes games look amazing, and the improved battery life means we can play longer without worrying about charging. It’s super versatile for both handheld play and docked on the TV. Definitely worth it—fun for the whole family!

Nintendo Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 for a bit now, and honestly, it feels like a really solid upgrade without losing what made the original so fun. The first thing I noticed is how much better everything looks. Games are sharper, colors pop more, and performance feels smoother overall. Load times are quicker too, which is something I didn’t realize I cared about until it improved. It just makes the whole experience feel more modern. The hybrid design is still the star of the show. Being able to switch from handheld to TV mode in seconds is just as convenient as ever, but it feels more refined now. The handheld mode is more comfortable, and the screen upgrade makes a big difference, especially for longer play sessions. Battery life seems improved, which is a huge plus if you’re playing on the go. I’ve been able to get through longer sessions without constantly worrying about charging. The controllers also feel a bit sturdier, and connection issues (like random disconnects) seem less common. Game-wise, it really depends on what you’re playing, but newer titles definitely take advantage of the upgraded hardware. Everything just runs more consistently, and some games that struggled before now feel much smoother.

Very good upgrade from Switch 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it to play the new Mario Kart World, as well as play Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild at a higher framerate/resolution. Plays games flawlessly and everything feels very premium. My only downsides are the screen (It ghosts a very small bit but is not a dealbreaker.) and the battery life (It doesn’t last a long time, but comparable to launch Switch 1 as well as pc handhelds like the Asus Rog Ally and the Steam Deck.)

No complaints
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well made and i haven’t had any problems with it. The joycon magnets definitely make it feel more solid than the Switch. I can play off the dock for a couple of hours before I have to recharge it. The screen size is much easier on the eyes. I’ve only played 2 exclusive Switch 2 titles so far: Mario Kart World and DK Bananza. I can’t say that it has blown my socks off, performace wise, but I do notice better performance.

Great buy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good Stuff (Things I really like): • The Graphics are SO Much Better. In games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Switch 2 Edition, everything is super clear. On the first Switch, things could look blurry or fuzzy, and that was just irritating because my brain had to work harder to process the visual detail. Now, it's sharp and clean. I can see all the details in the grass and the characters' clothes. It's very visually satisfying. • Faster Loading Times! This is maybe the best part. Waiting for games to load gives me major anxiety. The screen is blank, I don't know if it's frozen, and the suspense is just… not good. With the Switch 2, games like Cyberpunk 2077 (yes, it’s on Switch 2!) load way faster. Less waiting means less worry and more time to focus on the game's patterns. • The New Joy-Con 2 Controllers: They feel bigger and more solid. The clicking noise when you attach them is still there, but they don't wiggle as much when they're on the console. The magnets are strong, and the "snap" is a good, dependable sound and feeling. Less unexpected movement is a plus for sure.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great device. Little heavier than the previous model. I've noticed my wrists hurt after a shorter period of time. Otherwise love the display. Mario world tour is an awesome game.

The Perfect Bundle for Instant Fun

The Nintendo Switch 2 runs smoothly with impressive visuals and fast load times, making both handheld and docked play equally enjoyable. Including Mario Kart World is a huge bonus—it’s an engaging, family-friendly game that’s easy to jump into but challenging enough to stay exciting. Setup was straightforward, and everything worked flawlessly. This is an excellent choice for families, casual gamers, or anyone looking to upgrade their gaming experience.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is groundbreaking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is groundbreaking. It is the true next generation Nintendo gaming system. There are no true flaws besides the battery life, but it really depends where you spend most of your time gaming.

Much-Needed Refresh Shows Great Promise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long overdue upgrade to the Nintendo Switch! Some say it's too expensive. But considering how the original Switch was around for nearly a decade, I'd say it's a pretty good deal if you break it down to a year-by-year cost! While the new system doesn't break a whole lot of new ground, aside from the mouse controls that might be used by some games, the upgrades keep Nintendo up to date with the most essential new TV and video game graphics technology. Playing more advanced games on the go, with a larger and much-improved screen from the original Switch is great. I also love that it's backward compatible with games and controllers from the original Switch! I suddenly have a great four-player setup thanks to the ability to use my old Joy-Cons. The bundled Mario Kart World is a perfect escape from today's reality. There's so much going on in each course, it's like playing an amusement park ride. Of course, the real test will be how good the games not yet released will be. So far indications are good we'll have some winners. I'm looking forward to Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4, among others. Nintendo's got a good track record, so fans of their games likely have nothing to worry about.

Gaming Device instead of a toy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 has a ton of thought put into it, making it feel like a proper gaming device instead of a toy like the original Switch. The Switch 2 can finally play modern games, making it a viable standalone console instead of supplementary to the other consoles.

Just what a busy gamer needs.
||Posted . Nintendo just deliver with this one.

Better Picture, Better Storage, Better Overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t a radical reinvention, but it’s the kind of steady, smart upgrade longtime fans were waiting for. From improved visuals to expanded storage and refined controls, it feels like a more polished, future-proofed version of the original hybrid console. **Display & Visuals** The biggest everyday difference comes from the new OLED+ screen. Games look crisper, colors pop more vibrantly, and there’s noticeably less motion blur in fast-paced titles. Whether docked or handheld, the Switch 2 pushes higher resolutions and smoother frame rates, especially with first-party games optimized for the new hardware. **Storage & Performance** Nintendo finally addressed one of the original Switch’s biggest pain points: storage. With a default 256GB internal memory, most players won’t immediately feel forced to buy a microSD card. Load times are quicker, thanks to both the upgraded processor and faster internal memory, making switching between games and apps feel much snappier. **Battery & Build** Battery life holds up surprisingly well, considering the performance jump. On average, I got around 5–6 hours playing games like Tears of the Kingdom. The console feels sturdier too—joy-con drift hasn’t been an issue so far, and the new magnetic kickstand is genuinely useful. **Final Thoughts** If you already have a Switch OLED and mostly play docked, this may feel like a minor step up. But for handheld-first players or those still using the launch model, Switch 2 feels like what the original Switch always wanted to be: better picture, better storage, better overall.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it’s only been a bit over a week since release and i find the NS2 to be really nice. all of the switch games that might have run a little funny (like certain parts in the newest zeldas) run beautifully on this even if you don’t get the game upgrade. the screen is bigger and brighter and the joycons are much sturdier feeling. i have no complaints and i don’t expect to have any for a while, if at all. if you like the switch - this one is def a good upgrade.
