It works nicely but a year in and Nintendo has yet to justify a $500 price tag. If you are bringing over your Switch 1 library it's still fun. The gimmicks are underused and you will have to subscribe to their service for voice chat. 50/50 on regretting my purchase at launch.

Overall a solid upgrade if you be coming from switch 1 or lite. A little more expensive but has the power to justify its upgrade price, 120 hz lcd panel less likely to oled burn in and games from previous gen run smoothly. Loving the backwards compatibility but a screen protector is 100% recommended to have the plastic film they place on this console is very scratch able. Still using old joycon controller tech sadly but upside is 240ish gb memory system storage

I picked up the console at launch. Definitely an overall improvement from the first Switch. The performance is better, the controllers feel nice, and transferring data from an old switch is extremely easy. However, the products for the Switch 2 (including many of the games) are very pricy. Expect a $70+ price tag on first party Nintendo games for this console, and don't expect them to go on sale. The durability of the console is excellent in terms of functionality (excluding joycon drift). However, the console is extremely prone to cosmetic damage. The built-in screen protector is extremely easy to scratch. Even a fingernail can cause permanent cosmetic damage to the plastic screen. Get a glass screen protector if you plan on traveling a lot with the console (do not remove the plastic screen protector). If you are buying this for your children, please do not let them try to modify the console or the software whatsoever. I did that with the Wii and 3DS as a child and faced no consequences. However, this console is different. Nintendo WILL ban you permanently from many of their services if they catch you trying to modify anything on the console.

Love it!! I own many other hand helds and this is my favorite one for traveling. I commute an hour a day on the train and it’s perfect for this. Right amount of battery life both directions , love the quick resume of the games , and it plays my old switch games.

The new Nintendo Switch 2 with the Mario Kart World bundle is an amazing addition to my new hobby of gaming. The console itself runs smoothly, graphics are impeccable and battery life is really long-lasting. Mario Kart gives the essence of childhood everytime I play the game. Overall, an amazing purchase.

The Switch 2 is an incredible console. Its performance compared to the Switch 1 is exceptionally noticeable and impressive. The new games offered are worth the upgrade alone. And let’s not forget the ability to access GameCube titles with Nintendo Plus is a significant advantage that makes the Switch 2 a worthwhile investment.

My Switch 2 is definitely awesome and moving from my old Switch to the new Switch 2 was super easy.

Much faster than the original Switch — snappier menus, quicker load times. Larger, higher-quality screen. More vivid visuals, HDR support, better frame rates. And the last thing I would like to say for a “con” is. Battery life. In handheld mode, battery drains faster under heavy usage. Some reviews say it can be disappointing if you play a lot on the go.

Size is great for traveling and it’s been fun to play with two controllers. Biggest feedback is that the two controllers have the buttons in different places so it took me by surprise when switching.

I bought this as a birthday gift. It has now become a family gift instead. Everyone enjoys using it and it’s super convenient on long road trips to keep the kids entertained. The only downside is there is no YouTube yet available.

Bigger screen! Fast and fun! You can argue catered more for kids! But Nintendo exclusives always delivers! Waiting for Metroid 4! Until then it will be Mario Kart and Donkey Kong!

Our boys received this from Santa for Christmas and absolutley love it! The larger screen and easy to remove control handles are awesome improvements to the new platform. We are excited to see what games come out, while still being able to use the old games as they are backwards compatible.

Love the speed and size of the new model. Charge drains a bit quickly but it is just the way it goes.

Great product. Screen is way bigger than the first switch and graphics look way better!

One of the best systems I like the blogger screen to play on the road but on the Dock everything looks great on 4k

I love having a switch! A good mix of a Nintendo DS and a Wii. Very customizable and can play a wide range of games. I also thoroughly enjoy Mariokart that came with.

So far, it is a great extension of the original switch. Better performance, and everything else is very similar. Better performance, bigger screen, and the UI is pretty much the same, which was great. It feels like a great extension of the original switch

I love the new Nintendo Switch 2! It is sleek, the game graphics are next level and the processor is fast

I love the upgraded visuals and fps, the hdr screen, the magnetic joycons, and the charge ports at top and bottom! The back has two tiny dot sized chip indents that make me worry about the durability of the device however I'm not sure if those were caused by me or from the factory.
