Better than the switch 1 in form factor. I love how it feels easier to hold being lighter while also having a bigger screen. Works well, does what I expected it to.

I’ve had the original switch since 2020 and the oled since 2025. Though i love oled, the switch 2 is a nice upgrade! The large screen looks great and in my opinion looks amazing! I love the larger joycons & the magnetic attachment is so much better then the slide rails.

A great console overall. The battery life could be better, but if you play with the system while docked, then it’s not that bad. I upgraded from the OLED model and the graphics are insane. The console is larger that previous models, so you’ll have to adjust to it at first. Definitely worth the buy.

LOVE this so much. My fiance and I bought it to have something to do when we are bored. We had Nintendo switch 1 and this one the screen is bigger. Quality is great. Speed is great. Love the Mario games!

This device is top tier, its a huge upgrade from the regular switch and i love my switch. The resolution is beautiful the controls are great it is really the perfect hand-held. The storage is horrible you need a express memory card and they are crazy expensive!

Look forward to more games arriving. I wish the game keys did not have to be carried around to play the games once they are added to the device. Would prefer Nintendo offer the full game on physical media as long as one has to carry around a game. That said, the conclusive is great with an excellent screen and the ability to switch between handheld and docked TV mode.

Its a great piece of hardware. It feels better than the original Switch, its faster, its larger, its more powerful. But at the end of the day, its one of Nintendo's least innovative consoles to date. Its a more powerful Switch. The game selection is lacking for now, but that will improve with time. Im giving this 4 stars because while it lacks innovation, the Switch didnt need much in the way of innovation. All in all, its a great console that will provide years of entertainment.

The price is the only thing that bugs me about this console. But I love the games that become available with it (plus its backwards compatible with Nintendo switch games) the fact that its larger then the Nintendo switch and still portable, and the graphics are AMAZING, Nintendo games you had on the switch get a boost in graphics too although sometimes you have to pay. The space runs out fast though and the SD Express cards are a bit expensive too. Delivery was quick and timely, no problems or broken parts either! I would recommend easily to others.

I will say I bought this as a better Switch 1 and I’m fine with that. I game on everything and the only thing I touched on switch1 is Zelda botw and totk. These games on switch 2 look very clear and more detailed. When you’re just running through the woods I seem to see a lot more beetles on trees than I remember seeing before. The same for grasshoppers, hightail and hearty lizards. The clarity makes them more visible and possibly a little more distance for pop in. I was surprised that the switch 2 still has a lot of pop in and I didn’t notice much of a difference between switch 1 and 2. One way I get weapons is jump off a high place and glide down on top of a hinox and steal the weapons from around his neck. I don’t notice much of the difference with the pop in when I do this. There’s definite frame rate improvement. When fighting labels I seem to parry easier and pull the bow out quick and aim for there head quicker and more Accuracy. Timing seems to work better on parries with guardians also. The companion Nintendo app for your phone only available with switch 2 versions of the game is a game changer and I love it. So far I’ve only played the 2 Zelda’s and they each had a $10 upgrade fee to get switch 2 versions which were worth it for me.

This is what a handheld video game console should be. I love that Nintendo is still letting you decide to either play on your TV or handheld. The switch 2 looks great compared to the switch 1. I'm also so happy we have true 1080p 4k HDR in a Nintendo console. The user interface is still the switch 1, but they're called classics for a reason right. We just need more switch 2 exclusive games.

If there was more 1st party switch 2 exclusives I'd rate 5 stars. But coming from switch 1 and as a pc owner, it's just like a slight upgrade. Do I regret the purchase? No and I use it about everyday. The joycons are a slight upgrade. I wish they were hall effect but still feel meh compared to Xbox or a pro controller. No customization. No apps like YouTube hulu. But it's a Nintendo console and I got it for Pokemon Champions and it's great for what I wanted it for.

Just picked one of these up and hands down best gaming device out there! Playing it on 4k on the tv is a blast then turning it to handheld just makes it so worth the price! Great gaming system!

Better than the Switch 1 in every way. Games load significantly faster and look significantly better.

An excellent upgrade to the switch. The power it brings to switch one games makes them feel brand new. Pokemon games (Specifically scarlet and violet) have so many extra pokemon spawns, and the games run so smooth.

The. Ew Switch 2 is amazing. The new magnetic controllers with built in “mouse” technology is really cool. Can’t see what other game they will bring out that uses this feature! I really like the new screen and faster processor. The upgrade is well worth it!

i love this nintendo switch 2 so much! love the bigger screen, and i love how the side controllers are magnet so you dont have to pull up to disconnect them, and also love how i can play regular nintendo switch games on it as well

The switch is a great handheld. The reason for the 4 star and not 5, is because this switch definitely lacks in upgrades compared to the previous models. I’ve owed the switch lite and switch oled, and to be honest, there isn’t much of a huge change. Starting with the positives, I love how some games finally support 120hz, the refresh rate is much better but it depends on if the game supports it. It’s much more powerful so it can run more demanding games like Fallout 4, Resident Evil, Cronos, etc. The picture quality is better, not significantly (like compared to the oled) but it appears better. The size is also bigger which can be both good and bad. Now for the negatives, the joycons are not secured well. It’s the same issue with the previous switches, after just an hour of playing they become wiggly and move around back and forth quite a bit. The magnet is strong so there’s no worry of it falling off, however it seems like one drop (joycons connected) and they’re probably going to break off. The battery life on it is also horrible. Yes it’s more powerful and is going to eat up more, but they could’ve at least improved it more to compensate. The last switch has a better battery life. You could get maybe under 2 hours of playtime before it needs a charge. It’s not a bad product, but it’s not much of an upgrade and the price is extremely high. If you have the money, then might as well get it for the better refresh rate and bigger size. Or if you want the switch 2 exclusive games then you really don’t have a choice but to get it lol.

Great upgrade from the original for graphics, controller and handheld.

I bought the switch 2, thinking i already have the switch oled, so i wasn't in a hurry for the switch 2, after all how much different can it be? Well I have to say if you're looking to play 3rd party games that look as good as the ps5 and xbox games, well now you can have that on this system, plus load times are faster and most of your existing switch games will look better and run smoother. So for me, I love the upgrade. so if it's in your budget, cause this thing is not cheap, then it's a worthy upgrade, it does not disappoint. Also you can use your switch pro controller with it, it purposely doesn't turn on the switch, you have to manually turn it on.
