The Nintendo Switch 2 is everything fans hoped for—and more. Building on the massive success of the original Switch, this new iteration delivers meaningful upgrades without losing the magic that made the hybrid console so beloved.

An overall good system, although some apps do not work due to the apps company not providing support to said app, eg. YouTube, Hulu, or Netflix. As well as some games not getting an update to provide 60 fps or a higher resolution, like xenoblade, fe3h, or many others besides some first party Nintendo games, mainly Zelda botw, and tears of the kingdom

I bought my Nintendo Switch at Best Buy and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The console works perfectly the screen looks beautiful, the colors are vibrant, and the whole system feels very smooth and fast. I’ve been enjoying my games so much, and the battery life has been really good too.

I love this device! I didn’t intend on upgrading but I’m glad I did. Best Buy associate helped me through the process of transferring and the trade in opportunity. With providing the best options possible and handled the situation with kindness and patience. I love Best Buy =D

Just got my hands on the new console and wow, it's seriously a game-changer. The portability aspect is just incredible; I can take all my favorite games with me anywhere. The graphics are surprisingly sharp for something so compact. It's been so much fun exploring all the different titles available. Definitely a worthwhile investment for any gamer.

Great console, my kiddos enjoy playing for hours in a week. I highly suggest Mario Cart and Pokemon to keep the kids playing and discovering the open worlds in both games. I would also suggest play online with other players. To see how great they are against other players around the world. Great product and offers a lot for such a small console.

Seamless experience on the app but the rep in the store was slightly irritated when I asked if they had Pokémon cards. I know people ask a lot but I shouldn’t receive that type of service. I work for a mobile carrier and get asked about new releases so much during the holidays and I don’t see no issue in responding positively.

I haven’t owned a Nintendo since the Nintendo 64. I got to say that for them to incorporate some n64 games is chefs kiss. The switch 2 has made it a lot easier to compromise situations where I want to game but can’t be at home. I will say that the thumb sticks are a bit fragile so don’t drop the controllers or they may just break off.

I ADORE this switch. it is everything i wanted that the original and oled models just didnt give. Just waiting on all the 3rd party companies to catch up with the memo that this thing is a beast.

I upgraded from the OG Switch to this model, and love it! Yeah, it's pricy, but the performance boost you get in a lot of games is noticeable. Though, get a skin for the JoyCons, as the edge can wear on your palms.

Pros - the system feels solid, premium and less like a toy like the first switch felt. The speakers are good, the hdrumble feels a little better. The bigger display is nice. It’s nice you can play your switch 1 games. Cons - while the screen is bigger and supports a higher refresh rate. It’s a slow lcd panel. Blacks are displayed as a uniform gray color as the panel can’t produce perfect black levels. Any games with higher motion show more visible trailing or ghosting of the image compared to the switch oled model. Not a major con if you’re docked all the time (especially if you own an oled tv). The ui, it’s the same ui we’ve had for years. No innovation. No themes, just nothing. You’re teased with some cool ambient music during first boot and setup, but never again do you hear it. Just back to silent and bare bones ui. No games. Seriously at the time of this writing, we have only 4 actual switch 2 games available. (Not including ports or crossgen) dk, Mario, the rip off tour game, and the wheelchair basketball game. All the other available s2 games are either games you’ve already played or can play better on every other platform. (Cyberpunk, nms, Fortnite, madden, etc with the 3rd party games. What about switch 1 games that are patched now. Well those are nice, totk, botw, Mario all look and performs great on the s2 in either handheld or docked. However!!!! Nintendo doesnt tell you much about non patched switch 1 games. Sure you can play them using your switch 2. But without any patch to unlock the resolution or frame rate, the vast majority of switch 1 games will run at a maximum of 720p handheld on your switch 2. This looks bad. The bilinear scaling from 720 to 1080 handheld looks rough. Add in any limitations to frame rate the s1 games had and you’re in for an ugly 30fps 720p experience handheld. Docked, you get what you previously had on your s1, so again, limited to whatever the docked profile gave your game performance wise. Overall, it’s okay. Being able to play Zelda finally at crisp 1080 and 60fps handheld is great. But again I paid 450$+ for a console and then another 10 bucks just to play at a good frame rate. I’d love to give it a higher rating but sadly it’s been collecting dust till either new games come out and I mean new OR the massive and loved switch 1 library gets performance patches to utilize the switch 2. The steam deck oled is a way better value and still my preferred mobile gaming device.

Got the system on launch day, and have been very impressed by performance. Old switch 1 games run and look great, especially the enhanced Zelda games. Looking forward to everything this system has in the days to come.

I’ve never had a Switch Console before, so this is excellent. I love the size, and all of the features. Still, price could’ve been better, or the console could’ve at least tried to be “new.” I mean, the tech they’re marketing as new has been around for years now, yet I suppose we’re just supposed to settle with what we’re given. A tad frustrating.

Was hesitant to buy one but now i cant stop using it. The games look amazing and the screen size is perfect. But i wouldnt recommend buying one if you have an OLED. Not enough exclusives to make a difference.
