Greedy scum. $80 half finished games, bricking your console instead of bans, game keycards that dont even have the games on them. Youd do good avoiding these like the plague.

I bought a nintendo switch 2, and then I bought a family membership to 12 months to play with my niece. Our connections are fine, and we're both the same NAT type. The connection plainly doesn't work, and nintendo support just tells me to kick rocks and suck it up.

Mario is kinda sus. Luigi is weird. Princess peach is a loser. I liked Bowser. Toad just looks wrong. Donkey Kong would beat 100 men in a fight. No part of the game had to do with plumbing, very disappointing.

    Good console

The Nintendo Switch 2 is an outstanding evolution of the beloved hybrid console. Nintendo has successfully taken everything that made the original Switch a hit and refined it for modern gaming. The upgraded performance is immediately noticeable, with faster load times, crisper graphics, and smoother frame rates that make both handheld and docked experiences feel premium. One of the biggest highlights is the improved display. The new OLED+ screen is vibrant and immersive, making games look stunning in handheld mode. Battery life has also seen a significant boost, allowing for longer play sessions on the go. The redesigned Joy-Cons feel sturdier and more comfortable, addressing some of the durability concerns from the previous generation. Nintendo’s exclusive lineup shines on the Switch 2, with enhanced versions of classic titles and new releases taking full advantage of the upgraded hardware. Backward compatibility ensures that your existing library carries over seamlessly, which is a huge plus for longtime fans. Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 is a must-have for casual and dedicated gamers alike. It’s a perfect blend of portability, performance, and fun, setting a new standard for hybrid gaming consoles.

    Solid overall evolution

Need more time with the new console but so far: Great! I love the updates to the joycons, the stand, the USB ports, the dock and the screen size. I'm coming from the OLED switch and so the quality of the screen is about the same honestly, but still so much smoother and the resolution bump is nice. The migration tool was great, was able to move all my games, saves, screen shots, settings, and profile with no issues. Very happy with it. Playing mostly Switch one games. The Xenoblade games all run, and they run better. Smooth framerate, very responsive and look about the same. So a mild improvement in my eyes. I will need more time to see if the whole of my library work right, but so far things seem good. Bottom Line: A solid evolution of the switch

    I adore it

Every aspect of my launch day switch 1 that gave me a pain point has been fixed with the Switch 2, but the most striking updates beyond "it's faster" are the screen's brightness and the device's physical size. It is so much easier and comfortable to hold and so much easier to see what's on the screen. In terms of actual performance it's a massive improvement (think PS4 Pro with some modern day AI magic to make it have higher resolution and frame rates) and most Nintendo games are small so I've been able to fit 20 games on it so far (zeldas, marios, pokemon, some 3rd party digital ones) with about 180gb left. Overall a big update and you notice the changes, but maybe hold off on the micro SD card until you know for sure you need one.

I'm absolutely loving my new Switch 2 the graphics are stunning, and the battery life is impressive, so I can play for hours on end. The game library is fantastic, with so many amazing titles to choose from. The portability is perfect for gaming on the go, making it easy to take my favorite games wherever I go. Overall, it's an amazing console that I'm so happy to have.

Definitely an upgrade from the oLed switch 1. Only really bought it for Pokemon ZA, but love the new Mario kart. Only downside is I play to long and the battery runs out.
