Absolutely love it, the best Nintendo console yet!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m completely blown away by the Nintendo Switch 2! Everything feels faster, smoother, and more immersive. The new screen is stunning, and the battery life is way better than I expected. It’s so easy to switch between handheld and docked play — it just works perfectly. I’ve been playing nonstop since I got it, and it’s easily my favorite console ever!

Upgrade from switch 1
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better than the switch 1 in form factor. I love how it feels easier to hold being lighter while also having a bigger screen. Works well, does what I expected it to.

My time with switch 2 from a Zelda fan
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say I bought this as a better Switch 1 and I’m fine with that. I game on everything and the only thing I touched on switch1 is Zelda botw and totk. These games on switch 2 look very clear and more detailed. When you’re just running through the woods I seem to see a lot more beetles on trees than I remember seeing before. The same for grasshoppers, hightail and hearty lizards. The clarity makes them more visible and possibly a little more distance for pop in. I was surprised that the switch 2 still has a lot of pop in and I didn’t notice much of a difference between switch 1 and 2. One way I get weapons is jump off a high place and glide down on top of a hinox and steal the weapons from around his neck. I don’t notice much of the difference with the pop in when I do this. There’s definite frame rate improvement. When fighting labels I seem to parry easier and pull the bow out quick and aim for there head quicker and more Accuracy. Timing seems to work better on parries with guardians also. The companion Nintendo app for your phone only available with switch 2 versions of the game is a game changer and I love it. So far I’ve only played the 2 Zelda’s and they each had a $10 upgrade fee to get switch 2 versions which were worth it for me.

Plug’n’play!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful upgrade from the OG Switch! Absolutely love the bigger screen for handheld mode though it’s taken some getting used to. Graphics overall are crisp and solid, games run exceptionally well, a wonderful birthday gift to myself for sure! :-D

Worth the wait!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried so long to get my hands on this thing! The bots and scalpers held me back for too long. But after finally getting my hands on one, i can definitely say it is worth the wait and all the hype. The screen looks awesome, and the 4K 60fps and 120fps look amazing on TV mode. Already got a travel case and screen protector so im ready to take it with me everywhere lol plus all my older games run smooth as butter now. No more frame drops or lag :)

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is what a handheld video game console should be. I love that Nintendo is still letting you decide to either play on your TV or handheld. The switch 2 looks great compared to the switch 1. I'm also so happy we have true 1080p 4k HDR in a Nintendo console. The user interface is still the switch 1, but they're called classics for a reason right. We just need more switch 2 exclusive games.

Awesome!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the switch 2! You can definetly feel a difference in performance from the original. Only complaint is the battery life, but that was expected on launch. As long as you keep it plugged in while playing, the battery should last a good long while.

Its great buy it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 feels like the natural next step for Nintendo’s hybrid console, blending the charm of the original with some much-needed upgrades that make gaming smoother, sharper, and more comfortable. The bigger screen and faster processor make games look and run better, while the redesigned Joy-Con 2 controllers snap on magnetically, feel sturdier in the hand, and finally address some comfort issues from the first generation. Backwards compatibility means your old library still works—often with noticeable improvements—and new features like built-in GameChat and the clever Mouse Mode add fresh ways to play and connect. The Pro Controller 2 is another highlight, with better grips and refined buttons that make longer sessions easier. Docked play now delivers clearer visuals on a TV, and while handheld mode is a bit bulkier, it benefits from a larger and crisper display. The trade-offs are that it’s more expensive than before, still not using OLED tech, and has some concerns around repairability, but overall, the Switch 2 feels like a strong refinement rather than a revolution, a console that doubles down on what made the original so special while adding just enough power and polish to keep it competitive in 2025.

Way better than I originally expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was VERY hesitant to get a switch two due to Nintendo's admittingly insane user agreement and track record for bricking consoles for pretty crazy reasons, but after getting this console I have to say that a lot of my problems have been eased. First of all, before I say the good and bad about this console I would like to say that I don't use the online play. All the games I have used on this switch so far have been offline because I am still admittingly scared of Nintendo's end user agreement and my expensive new purchase being reduced to paperweight for just about any reason they deem worthy of punishing. (I tend to use 3rd party controllers and docks to save money which I don't know if falls under the bannable category) The good: the switch looks amazing! In spite of it being all black the finish they used on the shell keeps oil from your hands from smudging up the console and keeps it looking clean even after hours of gaming which is really nice. Furthermore original switch controllers are compatible with the switch 2 so I didn't need to purchase new controllers to play 4 player on Mario cart. Lastly any non remastered or upgraded games that you purchase on the switch you can download on the switch two without rebuying it, so games like Lego drive that I had on my old switch I could download on the new one. Games that I owned that did get upgraded, like animal crossing, were only 5$ to buy the upgraded version which, all things considered with Nintendo pushing 80$ games, was really surprising to see. The Bad: My biggest gripes are with simple things that don't effect too much and some of them are even being worked on by Nintendo. Firstly the storage space for this console is really small for how much space the games take. 256gb goes by fast just with downloading your old switch games and certified SD cards cost way too much so you have to pick and choose what you want to have downloaded. It's also annoying sometimes that the old switch chargers will not work with the new switch dock which I understand due to this console being 8 years newer and power hungry by comparison, but I would like to still be able to use my old one to charge my switch 2 in the dock even if I cannot play while doing it. The meh: they are adding a lot of gamecube era games to the switch 2 but they are all locked behind the switch premium paywall. If they would just sell the games normally I would be happy to buy them, but a lot of the old retro games from NES- GameCube are all locked behind that subscription service and can only be played if you pay monthly which I personally am unwilling to do, but is not really a deal breaker it's just something to keep in mind if that's one of the reasons why you want to buy this console. Overall I have been very satisfied with my purchase!

Awsome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know people love to hate this console but I absolutely love it. So far i have played all the way through Hogwarts and have been playing a lot of BOTW on it. Both game have been greatly improved. The load times alone make it worth it. Love the companion app on my phone. I look forward to what they do with that and other games. If you loved the original switch then you will love this one also. Definitely worrh the price. Don’t listen to the haters.

Much of the same
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a great piece of hardware. It feels better than the original Switch, its faster, its larger, its more powerful. But at the end of the day, its one of Nintendo's least innovative consoles to date. Its a more powerful Switch. The game selection is lacking for now, but that will improve with time. Im giving this 4 stars because while it lacks innovation, the Switch didnt need much in the way of innovation. All in all, its a great console that will provide years of entertainment.

Nintendo switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is a solid upgrade that improves on nearly every aspect of the original. It features a sharper 7.9” 1080p screen, 4K output when docked, smoother performance thanks to a new NVIDIA chip, and better battery life. The new magnetic Joy-Cons feel sturdier, and added features like GameShare and video chat bring it up to modern standards. While it’s pricier and leans on upgraded older games at launch, the Switch 2 is a powerful and versatile hybrid console

Honestly worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is the only thing that bugs me about this console. But I love the games that become available with it (plus its backwards compatible with Nintendo switch games) the fact that its larger then the Nintendo switch and still portable, and the graphics are AMAZING, Nintendo games you had on the switch get a boost in graphics too although sometimes you have to pay. The space runs out fast though and the SD Express cards are a bit expensive too. Delivery was quick and timely, no problems or broken parts either! I would recommend easily to others.
