I have been desperate specifically for the Nintendo Switch but more powerful and this is essentially what this is so I can't really complain

Wow! The price is ridiculous, the performance is better, but not by $300 better, the game library is a joke at launch, and the game key cards are the biggest scam ever. Nintendo has always had great IP, but their desire to maximize profits with less has gone too far. Re-releasing games from three generations ago at 80 dollars is nuts. I'm returning my system, it's just not worth my money IMO.

This is purely a rating of the hardware, not the launch library. In almost every tangible way, this is a major improvement over the Switch 1. The controls feel significantly more premium and the overall feel of the unit + OS is slick. I can't say that I think the C button is necessary as a dedicated chat button and I feel like it would've been better suited to be some new type of "Nintendo gimmick". The launch library is incredibly lackluster, but from a hardware point of view, I think this will eventually be made up with new, quality exclusives. If you've never owned a Switch, this is the place to start - not one of the older units. If you already own a Switch 1 and don't have the money yet, you'll be completely fine holding out until more games come out or a refined unit is released down the line.

This handheld console is way better when compared to switch 1. Has better graphics and frame rate.
