When i went to trade in my Switch 1 for the Switch 2, i was met with resistance to transfer my data over by employees despite already purchasing online in Advanced. I do NOT understand the actual issue, Best Buy already had my money and i was in the building with both devices. I would repeat myself and even asked if i could be allowed to transfer the data there and then in store. I have lost hours of progress for multiple games of Pokemon and several event exclusives. There is nothing wrong with the device but there is something genuinely wrong with the business and training model for employees when you already have my money and have yet to render services as well as give me the item i purchased until after having format all the data on the older console for the newer one to be released to me.

It's a goos system, however they sent the wrong one. At least they honored the returns promptly.

It's definitely an upgrade. More of a Switch Pro, than a Switch 2.

Its not a bad product by anymeans just a bit expensive vs the old switch version.

I love it but my switch 2 dock is extremely loud and sounds like it’s rattling. Very disappointed with how much I paid for it.

I got my switch 2 October 19th as a present to myself with pokemon ZA. It worked wonderfully, been great playing some of my older games updated for S2. Fast forward to today, I saw some headlines and youtube vids about third party docks getting bricked so i avoided the current dock update, but today after grocery shopping in my haste to jump back in I accidentally told it to update, and now my dock sends no signal to the tv. Ive contacted nintendo and they are useless offering to just have me send it back, I spoke with support for 40 or so minutes and they just kept telling me to test the hdmi wires, test the power wires, power cycle it five different times. Now they want me to ship it off, its not even a month old. All because they wanted to update the dock, and you can NOT hook it up to the tv directly with a type C to HDMI, At this moment i can not tell anyone to get a switch 2, not for the current price in 2025, not till they stop breaking stuff.
