Worthy Upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WELL worth the upgrade from the original OLED version! Very happy with the joy-con magnets, the screen size, and how it looks up on my TV. Hoping to see more third party developers releasing more games that were not on the original Switch, or wouldn't have been released on it, give the Switch 2 a chance!

Amazing upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the white Nintendo switch and it was great but this new switch 2 is tons better just because of the size of the screen alone, I can see so much more! The graphics are clean…. I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone

Pure Joy in Your Hands
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am absolutely in love with my Nintendo Switch 2. The upgraded display is gorgeous, performance is buttery smooth, and the new Joy-Cons feel fantastic. Whether I'm playing on the TV or in handheld mode, every session puts a smile on my face. Nintendo took everything great about the original and made it better in every way. I find myself reaching for it constantly, it's easily my favorite console ever made. If you love gaming, you owe it to yourself to get one.

Better Switch 2 An Upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been waiting for an upgrade to the Nintendo Switch. This console definitely delivered by Nintendo and it’s more powerful than its predecessor! The console itself is bigger than the Switch OLED, the Joy-Con 2’s are bigger and more sturdy when snapped onto the console, and the screen resolution is more clear. The games I’ve had played on my old Switch definitely run more smoothly on the Switch 2. The games made for the console really shows the hardware’s capabilities like 120fps, HDR support, 1440p (even 4K), and enhanced surround sound. Would recommend this to players needing an upgrade for the Nintendo Switch. But to PLEASE keep in mind about the price if they’re adamant.

Nintendo Switch 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our family has been fans of the original Switch for years, but the Nintendo Switch 2 is a massive leap forward. My kids haven't put it down since we got it! Why my kids love it: The Big Screen: The new 7.9-inch display is stunning. The colors are so much more vibrant, and the 1080p resolution in handheld mode makes their favorite games like Mario Kart World look incredible. Better Performance: Everything runs so much smoother. They’ve noticed that games load faster and there’s almost zero "lag" when things get hectic on screen. Backward Compatibility: This was the biggest win for us—all of our old Switch games work perfectly, and some even look better thanks to the improved hardware. Why I love it (as a parent): Enhanced Parental Controls: The new "Bedtime" notifications and granular play-time limits are lifesavers. It makes ending a gaming session much less of a battle. Built-in Social Features: The new GameChat feature makes it much easier for them to play with their cousins safely, without needing a separate phone or tablet for voice chat. Battery Life: We're getting much better mileage during car trips compared to our old launch-model Switch. If you’re on the fence about upgrading, it’s worth it just for the peace of mind and the smile on the kids' faces. It really is the ultimate family console

Smooth
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch itself works great, runs my games smoothly. However, the dock cable management is a bit of an issue. You have to squeeze the cables down into the corner while trying to put the plate back on. This is the one part worse than switch 1.

Excellent next-gen Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a massive upgrade over the original Switch in every way, it's nice to have something that will be able to run modern games on the go. So far games are running at 1080p/60fps, even handheld. The battery life is not as good as the original Switch, but there is no way around it at this time because this additional graphical power requires more battery power. You can increase battery life by doing things like turning down screen brightness or turning off HDR temporarily. It also depends on what kind of games you're running...Switch 1 games and lower-end games take MUCH less battery. Even though the internal storage is much larger than the original, if you have a lot of games you will still want to add a MicroSD Express card.

Pretty nice device
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a powerful, well built device. The screen is really nice and bright for an LCD too. Buttons are responsive. The whole system itself feels really slick and sleek in the hands. I mostly use it handheld and there isn't any issues I can find that hinders my gaming. The Switch 2 library (excluding original switch games) is pretty small though at the time of me writing this so I suggest holding off unless you really wanna play the new Donkey Kong or Mario Kart

Well made upgrade to the original
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm so excited to have picked this up. I loved my original Switch and debated for a long time whether this was worth it. I've gotten almost as much if not more use out of this one than I did with my old original. The bigger screen, the way the joycons click in instead of sliding on the rail makes it so much easier. I haven't run into any issues with this console and I hope to have it as long as I did my last one. No regrets!

Go for it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great system - just gotta wait for more games to come out. Build quality and screen quality are top-notch. It's not just a power upgrade from the original switch; everything is sturdier and better designed. The only downside is the memory, but it's expandable with cards.

Nintendo switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that this switch is bigger so it’s more comfortable than the first switch. Also the controllers no longer have the sliding rail which causes less problems for the controllers. Overall a great handheld system!

Personal new favorite handheld!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never was able to get the full Switch 1 experience, cuz I opted for the Switch Lite (3 of 'em) due to my preference to handheld consoles when it came to Nintendo. But now that the Switch 2 is here, and I was gonna wait on a potential Lite version. I just decided to pick this up with a few games, and I finally get what all the hype of a hybrid console was about! Being able to Switch from handheld mode to TV mode with just the dock. Amazing! And while the Switch 2's 1st party launch line-up isn't necessarily huge, Donkey Kong Bananza's pretty dang good. Haven't played much of Mario Kart World, and we got Splatoon Raiders dropping in a few months. Got plenty to look forward to & now I may consider Switch 2 versions over PS5, just for the portability aspect. Only 2 downsides tho. First, is while I think the size is perfect. Depending on the game controls, like DK Bananza where I was practically spamming the item sonar on R (R1 on PS5), it can feel a bit bulky or awkward at times. But otherwise, pretty solid console! 2nd is the battery, tho this is on a game-per-game basis. Mario Kart World drains the battery SUPER fast! While Donkey Kong Bananza doesn't seem to drain it nearly as fast. 3+ hours on a full battery with DK. Obviously stuff like 3rd party titles that are usually found on other platforms, won't nearly have as much of an impact on the battery as the 1st party Nintendo exclusives. But yeah, very satisfied overall!

Switch 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switch 2 is a huge upgrade. Setup was quick, the system feels fast and smooth, and games look sharper with great load times. The controllers feel solid, and switching between docked and handheld is seamless. Battery life is solid for my use, and the UI is clean and responsive. Worth it for anyone who plays often.

Five stars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is everything we loved about the original — only sharper, faster, and smarter. Nintendo didn’t reinvent its hybrid console; it perfected it. From the moment you power it on, the improvements are obvious. The new 7.9-inch 1080p display is vibrant and smooth, finally bringing the visuals up to modern standards. Whether you’re battling through Zelda: Echoes of Hyrule on the big screen in 4K or relaxing with Animal Crossing in handheld mode, the screen feels crisp and alive. Performance is the other major win. Thanks to the custom Nvidia processor, games load faster and run more consistently, with fewer frame drops even in open-world titles. The upgraded Joy-Cons — now magnetic and slightly larger — feel sturdier and more ergonomic, solving one of the biggest complaints of the original Switch. Battery life isn’t revolutionary, but it’s solid. You’ll get roughly 6 to 8 hours depending on the game. The device also runs cooler, making long handheld sessions far more comfortable. Backward compatibility works seamlessly, so your old library carries forward — and many titles even receive free performance upgrades. Storage has doubled to 256 GB, which still fills up fast, but the microSD Express slot helps balance that. After a week of testing, the Switch 2 feels like a console designed for both nostalgia and the future. It’s powerful enough to handle ambitious games, yet simple enough for casual fun with family or friends. Verdict: The Nintendo Switch 2 doesn’t just continue Nintendo’s legacy — it refines it beautifully. It’s the console that proves innovation doesn’t always mean change; sometimes it means perfecting what already works. Score: 9.3 / 10 — A must-buy for new and returning players alike.

Great console, lackluster exlcusives
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The console performs great! Handheld mode is awesome with games you can play on the go. The joy cons feel much nicer but I've heard its the same situation with drift so beware. Barely and exclusives that are worth playing at the moment.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo released a beast. This is an improvement over the switch in nearly every way. Good console, bad policy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing as a perfect console, but it gets four stars because they made the switch 2 bigger and for someone like me with big hands that is a godsend! I recommend it highly if you want it for handheld and on the go as cyberpunk 2077 plays pretty good in hand held. Now remember when I said there is no perfect console? The reason this doesn’t get a full five stars…Nintendo’s policy and the fact you need to update it before it even becomes backwards compatible.

Nice upgrade over switch 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice hardware upgrade with better graphics and faster gameplay. However the battery life is not great and could be better. Joycons are improved with magnetic attach feature which is a nice upgrade as well along with a larger screen. 256gb internal storage is small and probably should have been larger. You will need to buy a SD Micro Express Card to install more games.
