I love this unit, the screen is massive and brilliant in comparison to to v1 switch, or even the oled swtich! The joysticks are improved yet still not hall effect which is a let down, but still good. The controllers and overall ergonomics are amazing and i truly believe they nailed this design! The battery life is not anything to rave about but it does get the job done for the most part. The mouse feature on the joycons is an interesting feature, but i have not found many practical applications honestly in my day to day play time but that is subjective for sure! I rank this unit 8.9 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it for anyone!

... and while I am happy to have bought it, I admit that the true benefit of the upgrades are limited to a few games and far less spectacular than I hoped for. Sure, it's still a portable system and processing power relative to battery life are naturally limited. Some improvements (i.e., 4K support) require an external monitor anyway and with that to be plugged in. When on the run, the battery life is okay and not great. Nintendo sure have a hit on their hands, but it's by no means mandatory over the previous OLED version. (The larger screen is nice but makes it less portable and isn't OLED either. I do apprecciate the "true" black of the OLED which the Switch 2 doesn't have.)

The console works as intended: a much better performing gaming and portable console with inproved graphics. Might be too early to test the Joycon durability, but still performs well. Internal memory is also has better capacity, even without the SD storage extension. Battery life its among its major downside: most games drain it very fast. Also, the fact that the SD cards that support games is only of a specific type and both very pricey and often not properly available or affordable at higher capacities, it does puta it a step behind its predecessor. Not necessarily worth the bug price tag. Hence, good to have, but only if you have the funds.

Excellent item to pass the time and its portable mode is everything when playing

The switch 2 is for sure more powerful than the switch 1. Almost every game I've played runs smoother, most notably is pokemon violet which has lost almost all of it's framerate chunk. The notable downside however the currently limited game roster. I'm hoping that'll be fixed soon but the switch 2 is almost a year old and it hasn't gotten all that much.

Traded in my old switch and got the switch 2, im so happy that i did. It was definitely worth the upgrade! The screen is so nice and it’s very light and easy to hold (i do have small hands) If you’ve been thinking about it, do it!

The Nintendo Switch 2 was absolutely worth the upgrade. Nintendo took everything that made the original Switch great and improved it in almost every way. The graphics are noticeably sharper, games load much faster, and the overall performance feels smooth whether playing handheld or docked. The bigger display makes games look amazing, and the upgraded Joy-Cons feel more solid and responsive compared to the original version. I also love that it still keeps the hybrid design, so I can switch between TV gaming and handheld mode anytime. One of the best parts is the backwards compatibility, since I can still play most of my original Switch games while enjoying enhanced performance on newer titles. The game library is already looking strong, and upcoming releases make the console feel future-proof. Battery life could be better during demanding games, and the price is definitely higher than the original Switch, but overall the improvements justify it for me. If you’re a Nintendo fan or someone who plays regularly, the Switch 2 feels like a major upgrade and one of the best handheld gaming systems available right now.

Just got my hands on the new console and wow, it's seriously a game-changer. The portability aspect is just incredible; I can take all my favorite games with me anywhere. The graphics are surprisingly sharp for something so compact. It's been so much fun exploring all the different titles available. Definitely a worthwhile investment for any gamer.

The system itself is really nice, clean game play and graphics. Downside is having to pay for the upgrade for games you already have, but that’s a Nintendo issue not a system one. The upgrades do make the games look nicer and run smoother. Transferring data from the Switch 1 was easy. I have not tested the mouse feature on the controllers yet.

Great console, my kiddos enjoy playing for hours in a week. I highly suggest Mario Cart and Pokemon to keep the kids playing and discovering the open worlds in both games. I would also suggest play online with other players. To see how great they are against other players around the world. Great product and offers a lot for such a small console.

Wow? I could not wait to get the Switch 2 and yes it was worth the wait. Its got great graphics, its comfortable to hold and the removable controllers are so much better than the older models. Just loving it!!!

It’s basically a more powerful switch which is honestly what I bought it for as the original switch was in desperate need of an upgrade. The console and joy cons have a premium feel and look to them. The kickstand is metal and supports the switch well. The new joy cons are bigger and more comfortable in the hands, and the joy sticks are much smoother to move around than the switch 1. The magnetic joy con connections are very nice as the joy cons don’t wobble when connected to the switch and they just snap in place. The screen isn’t oled, but it’s about as vivid as the oled switch. I’ve noticed the screen does have slight motion blur compared to the regular switch but it doesn’t bother me that much. The speakers are much better than switch 1. I get about 2 hours of battery life when playing Breath of the Wild switch 2 edition. I do usually have the brightness on max, but I do wish the battery life was a little longer. There aren’t too many games that make it worth buying right now, but I’ve been enjoying the quicker load times, better graphics, and more responsive menus. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Love so much faster than the first but still dies quickly

Owned an original 2017 switch up until this past year when the switch 2 released and it is everything i hoped for. Screen, battery, joy cons, performance, etc. Worth an upgrade.

I bought my Nintendo Switch at Best Buy and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The console works perfectly the screen looks beautiful, the colors are vibrant, and the whole system feels very smooth and fast. I’ve been enjoying my games so much, and the battery life has been really good too.

Crisper and bigger screen, smooth play with no lagging, I’m enjoying the Switch 2. My only issue is with battery life…games run smoother but battery life is subpar.
