Honestly I didn’t think it was gonna be much more of an improvement on the first Switch but the picture quality is so much clearer as well as the controller just feels more comfortable for adult hands

Everything that was good with the original Switch, but better. Loving it so far, and it'll be even better once we get Switch 2 versions of the Xenoblade games.

I love the switch 2 so far! I can play all my switch 1 games on a bigger display and with much less lag! I definitely recommend getting one of you want to upgrade from your switch 1 and future proof your game catalog selection

Looks great on a 4K TV. I love it. Just give it time and more games will eventually be released. On launch day, I was surprised to see that the Switch 2 at the Best Buy in my city had plenty of consoles well after 5pm. The original Pro Controller works with the Switch 2.

Much needed improvements over the original switch. The screen is larger and the absence of an OLED doesn't take away from the vibrant colors. If not having OLED is still an issue for you, I recommend getting a OLED TV or OLED monitor.

Great console with good performance and graphically impressive for a handheld console. I’ve enjoyed using this console and think it’s worth the price for its durability and gaming capabilities.

The screen size and new features are great. Love the chat ability and game share ability between family.

I'll start with the positive. The screen makes the original Switch seem like a bootleg. I currently have no Switch 2 games to really compare with besides Fortnite (it's free), but the regular switch games are much more vibrant and clear. There may be 'Switch 2' upgrades for some Switch games, but even without upgrades there are games notorious for poor framerate and other lag issues that perform a lot better on this. Loading times are also greatly improved. Another big plus? The Switch 2 can actually handle its online store. Sound quality is improved as well. However, I have had nothing but connectivity problems with this. Straight out of the box it would not 'see' my wifi (neither the 2.4 or 5.0 bands). Even when holding it 2 feet away (and once out of frustration, tabletopping it on top of the router because why not?) from the router with no obstruction. BUT, it somehow sees my neighbor's wifi. My location is approx. 150 feet from the closest side of their house. So, I dragged a tv near my router, used it docked LAN. Updated everything. I managed to see and connect to my wifi after the update. Life was great for about 2 weeks. Then an update rolled out that required a restart. It has refused to connect to wifi since. It will rare see my wifi. When it does, within 2 seconds of hitting 'Connect', it fails. I have tried hotspotting my phone and even went to my neighbors and tried theirs since it sees theirs with relative ease over mine, and no luck. Factory resets do nothing but delete my games. Tried tutorials involved with changing advanced internet settings, even factory resetting my router and trying to connect it as the first/only device, too. I doubt it's my router, there are plenty of electronics here including the computer I'm typing this on that connect no problem. Regular Switch works just fine on either band. Such a shame. Typing in the error codes on the Nintendo site prompts a suggestion of making sure your router is plugged in and try moving the console closer. Gee wiz, I wish I thought of that (thinks back to placing it on top of the router). Reason for wifi having no connectivity removing 4 stars? Because any flaw that makes (admittedly not all) games completely unplayable and removes features from others is a catastrophic failure in my book.

Overall this is a great product, easy to setup and easy to transport. Also, digital gane sharing is an amazing feature!

Great Quality, Magnetic joy cons and bigger screen better than perivious gen.

[Employee of bestbuy] I have the switch 1 and recently bought the switch 2. The difference is HUGE I love the bigger screen so I actually enjoy handheld mode now and the joy cons snapping onto the system is more satisfying than the original. The only part that I don't like is paying the same price as a Playstation digital or xbox series x for something not as powerful as them.

Graphics are much better than the original and very easy to set up and transfer games. Great holiday gift.

Console itself is truly fantastic. Runs Switch and Switch 2 games smoothly. The ESHOP store finally runs perfectly and the Joycons feel great in handheld and in docked mode. Truly a seamless experience and it feels durable. I would advise to get an Express SD Card as well for future storage.

Love my switch 2 I have owned every switch made but this one puts the icing on the cake great console also now is the time to get one with ram prices. Definitely recommend this console many games to play!

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a huge step up—faster, smoother, and with stunning visuals. The improved battery life and performance make gaming feel brand new again. Absolutely worth it!

Decided to buy the switch 2 since most of the new Nintendo games will be exclusive to it. The performance is much better compared to the original switch. The internal storage is much better with 256gb and I like the new joy cons.

After having this for a month now or just shy i can aay for certain this lurchase for me was worth it. I never had a normal switch always the lite so for me this was a major upgrade.
