Decent upgrade, but definitely overhyped

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Revisiting Scarlet and Violet felt refreshing, the games that are made for switch 2, like the yakuza and cyberpunk, are definitely a step up from the first switch, but I definitely wouldn't put it at the same level as ps5 and xbox. Definitely doesnt compare to rog ally x. BUT if you are getting a switch, chances are you're getting it for nintendo type games anyway. I get the switch for Pokemon and Animal crossing, things I wouldnt play on a ps5 or xbox. So it's more of a "time and place" (for lack of a better phrase) type thing. I'm just happy I was able to get one

One step away from not disgusting players

Well, even so I still bought it after much deliberation. Although I won't regret it, I will probably switch if an improved battery life version is released later. Rather, it's like releasing a device with such terrible battery life in 2025 is simply ruining the Switch's reputation and disgusting gamers.
