    I got my switch 2 October 19th as a present to myself with pokemon ZA. It worked wonderfully, been great playing some of my older games updated for S2. Fast forward to today, I saw some headlines and youtube vids about third party docks getting bricked so i avoided the current dock update, but today after grocery shopping in my haste to jump back in I accidentally told it to update, and now my dock sends no signal to the tv. Ive contacted nintendo and they are useless offering to just have me send it back, I spoke with support for 40 or so minutes and they just kept telling me to test the hdmi wires, test the power wires, power cycle it five different times. Now they want me to ship it off, its not even a month old. All because they wanted to update the dock, and you can NOT hook it up to the tv directly with a type C to HDMI, At this moment i can not tell anyone to get a switch 2, not for the current price in 2025, not till they stop breaking stuff.

    Best Buy had this delivered to front porch without any bag or package covering. Delivery person marked as done but then decided to ring doorbell because of the lack of packaging covering an expensive product. Son was asleep but heard doorbell and told delivery person he did not order so take it back. It was a Christmas gift surprise—took many phone calls to recover product that had been paid for. I do not criticize delivery person as he was concerned lack of bag or a covering might cause theft.
