Switch 2 was the right move!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The screen size on the switch 2 is perfect! Big enough to play all my favorite games and still small enough to put in a case and carry with you. I got the switch 2 specifically for pokopia! I love the screen display and how fast it moves. Such a huge jump from the previous switch OLED. I play it everyday! The new game I'm playing now is Stardew Valley. The functionality of the switch for these games is perfect.

Bigger and better?
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the better way to play Nintendo Switch games because of the bigger screen and better resolution. Same UI makes it feel like a pro edition of the console but it has its own games so I wish they changed it a bit to keep it fun. The controller are much better like you can actually not feel like a mouse when playing sideways. Speaking of mouse, I have not used the mouse much but it does like a great tool for shooters or daily life sims (e.g., MP4 or ACNH/SV). I think the storage would have been fine if certain games would have not taken up almost half of it. If you plan on getting beafy games like the Final Fantasy 7 remake games, then get you or somebody an Express data extender (I forgot the name lol but you have to get the express version to use). Performance is decent for what it is, ports take the biggest hits with some games struggling with frame rate. I would look up which games are tolerable for you to play if you are interested. I think it’s an improvement on the original Nintendo switch with only a couple of flaws from me.

Great follow-up to one of the best consoles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great console, I mostly use it in handheld mode but its such a huge improvement in docked mode over the previous Switch, being able to do up to 4K with supported games is great. As far as handheld mode, having a bigger screen that is lcd but solid is very nice and makes a big difference! Its 120hz with VRR which is a nice touch. I know many complain about the price but compared to other handheld PCs its priced great for this model with just console, no games at $450.

Nintendo Switch 2 Review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is an incredible upgrade and easily one of the best gaming systems I’ve owned. The graphics and performance feel much smoother, and games load faster than before. I love being able to switch between handheld and docked mode seamlessly. The battery life has also been impressive for long gaming sessions. Whether you enjoy casual games or competitive titles, the Switch 2 offers something for everyone and makes gaming extremely fun and convenient.

Amazing
|Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] I was hesitant about the switch 2 initially, but it has proven to be an amazing portable gaming machine! I’ve tried several products to game on-the-go, and this has been hands down the best. Good (not great) battery life, fantastic graphics and a focus on 60fps for games has made it absolutely sensational. I’ve put more hours into Fallout 4 than on my PS5 and PC combined. My only complaint is that there are no streaming services on the platform, so it isn’t a one-stop-shop for taking on vacations. But as a gaming machine it excels

Big screen is a huge plus !
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it works great. It’s clear and the larger screen is such a plus! Downloaded 6 games so far without a problem and it’s not heavy. The controllers are cool to put on , clip on and off instead of the switch 1. I love it !

Pretty good but could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo did a good job of making the switch much more powerful without changing too much when it comes to ergonomics and portability. The screen size is fantastic but the bezels and screen type could be improved upon. Theres a bit of wasted space around the screen itsself which makes it look less sleek. The screen couldve been an oled instead of giving us an lcd, which wouldve also improved upon battery life and given us deeper darker blacks and better contrast. The joycons are larger which make it much more usable for adults. Theyre using the same style analogs which means eventually theyll have an issue with stick drift. Nintendo shouldve changed to TMR or Hall effect analogs to avoid this issue completely. Overall the switch 2 is a must have. Eventually when improved upon it will be a 5/5 product.

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great handheld screen quality. Would have been nice if it was OLED. Having an HDR option in handheld mode is nice and the handheld boost mode for original switch games is an excellent feature. I love the 3rd party support from 2k an EA and Ubisoft. If you own a decent 4k/hdr television some games support 120fps and other games run smoothly and look good

Switch 2!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very expensive but I would say it is an amazing console. Since I already had quite a few games for the switch 1, I am great full that it’s backwards compatible. The switch 2 ups the performance for those games too even without the upgrade packs. I think the screen looks beautiful (for me, it’s a very close second to an oled screen). The joy cons are better than the switch 1s but I still prefer the pro controller over them. Overall, the switch 2 is a great console for me.

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall amazing!! Screen is much bigger and colors are more vivid! Love the new controller removal button and magnet to allow controllers to attach to the switch without any pushing. Switch itself is a little bigger which feels much better in my hands and the new and improved stand is an outstanding improvement compared to the first switch. 10/10 Highly Recommended!!!

Great console
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an Xbox guy and had to finally give it in to my 6-year old as he wanted something portable to play with on trips, long drives etc. I am pleasantly surprised with the game collection it has and how it can be played in several ways - single player, multi-player, on-line, on the console, on TV, how the joy cons come off and be used for two players etc. Right now, we are playing Mario Fever Tennis and it's a blast for both my six-year-old and myself. It has a more retro feel to it compared to more cutting-edge gaming consoles but for the most part, it's enough for the games we want and it's portability makes it more practical than say, my other game console. All in all, happy with the quality, portability, graphics and game library. It's a bit on the pricey side and price is supposed to go up ever more but if you can afford it, it's well worth it.

Worth!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was reluctant to buy a 2 because I didn't think it was any different than the switch 1. I finally caved and traded in my original switch and it is absolutely worth it. The switch 2 improves on the switch 1 in every way from how the joy-cons feel, to screen quality, and overall performance. Switch 1 games are backwards compatible too, so I can still play all of my original games.

My Nintendo
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve really enjoyed the Nintendo Switch 2 so far. It feels faster and smoother than the previous model, with better graphics and quick load times. The design is comfortable, and switching between handheld and TV mode is seamless. Battery life has been solid, and it handles both casual and longer gaming sessions well. Overall, it’s a great upgrade and definitely worth it.

6 months after launch!!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can say this has been my second favorite video game console purchase in the last 10 years. The first was the orginal switch so you could say yes i am a fan of nintendo. This gave me the ability to play games i wouldn’t have had the ability to play on the OG Switch like Assasssin’s Creed Shadows, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Street fighter 6, etc. being able to game while i do my daily treadmill walks by just bringing this to th gym with me also helps me stay active and beat more games in my backlog and with the larger/brighter screen i fully feel immersed without worrying about falling off! safe to say this was worth the $500 with Mario kart world. And Donkey kong Banaza &Kirby Air Riders are some of the most fun games ive played ever!

Nintendo Switch 2 – The Hybrid Console, Evolved
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 is a refined and more powerful version of its predecessor. It keeps the hybrid design we love—play at home or on the go—but upgrades nearly everything else. It features a stunning 8-inch OLED screen, redesigned Joy-Cons, and a major performance boost thanks to a new NVIDIA chip with DLSS upscaling. Games look sharper, load faster, and run smoother, especially in docked mode where many hit 4K. The console supports backward compatibility, so your old games and accessories still work. New titles like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza show off what the hardware can do. Haven't fully tested battery life just yet, mostly because I play with it at home 99% of the time. One positive thing though, Nintendo's eShop on the Switch 2 feels snappier, pages and items load faster and navigation overall across the store is way better than on the original Switch, kudos to Nintendo for improving on this, this was one of my main complaints with the Switch 1. Overall, a solid upgrade that improves on almost everything. Not revolutionary, but absolutely the best way to experience Nintendo games today.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are absolutely loving it. Right out of the box, the screen is so much bigger and such a bright, vivid improvement over the original Switch. The new Joy-Cons are bigger and sleeker, and the way they magnetically snap onto the console is really satisfying. It’s quickly evident that the system runs faster and more smoothly. Navigating the eShop and Switch Online apps feels fast and smooth. And the games… the games are gorgeous. We’re finally playing Nintendo in shiny 4K! Switch 1 games even run noticeably better, and the Switch 2 upgrades for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are so beautiful that they immediately feel like whole new games. They look and feel like this was always how they were meant to be played. Onboard storage is only 250GB, but unless you’re moving over eight years’ worth of Switch 1 games, that’ll be more than enough to hold you over until you’re ready to expand. And don’t overlook the excellent Nintendo GameCube app, which is only playable on this console. After eight years (!) with the Switch 1, the Switch 2 is such an instantly appreciable upgrade in every way that it’s a sheer delight from the moment you take it out of the box. We’re having an absolute blast and so is everyone we know. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Was holding out for OLED version glad i didn't.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The screen on the Switch 2 is fantastic, in my experience it actually outperforms the OLED model in both color depth and blacks. The bigger size makes handheld play more immersive, and HDR really pops. I mostly play docked, and with the upscaling to 4K it looks sharp and smooth on my TV. Handheld feels premium too, so it’s a win on both ends. What really surprised me is how much faster and smoother everything feels — even older Switch games benefit from the upgraded hardware, with quicker load times and steadier performance. Battery life is solid for what this system does, so no complaints there. For me, this is a full 5-star upgrade. Note: A lot of people assume “LCD = downgrade from OLED,” but that’s not the case here. This panel really shines and proves it can match and even beat the OLED version in color and black.

A really good succesor to the Nintendo Switch 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo switch 2 is easily one of the best consoles I have ever tried, the Joy-Con 2 controllers are a massive upgrade from the original ones, them being magnetic now is also really good and is completely stable while on portable mode. And the good performance for current gen games is also a huge point in favor for the Switch 2, and makes it even better when you remember that it can be used in portable mode! Overall it feels like Nintendo knew that this was the best direction to go with their new console so they went all in for it, and I couldn't be more glad that they did. Definitely recommend this console for anyone that likes portable gaming or is looking forward to play the future nintendo exclusives!

Switch 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing console, by far an upgrade in power and mechanics from the Switch. The larger screen and controllers take away from its portability slightly, but makes for a more comfortable handheld usage, and the games run way better along with the consoles improved battery life
