I love the larger screen and magnet locked controllers. The large variety of family playable group games is also enjoyable

I'm so excited to have picked this up. I loved my original Switch and debated for a long time whether this was worth it. I've gotten almost as much if not more use out of this one than I did with my old original. The bigger screen, the way the joycons click in instead of sliding on the rail makes it so much easier. I haven't run into any issues with this console and I hope to have it as long as I did my last one. No regrets!

I dislike how Nintendo has been behaving as of late, but $450 for a handheld currently is not terrible. As of hardware and performance the switch 2 holds its own and is capable enough for the games you would be playing on the switch. Nintendo also did improve upon multiple areas that needed improvement from the last versions.

Fantastic console. It had a very good battery life, especially if you’re using auto brightness. The graphics are miles beyond the first switch. I believe a game like sword and shield should’ve been held until now, but I love Z-A. DK Bananza is currently my favorite title. I would suggest this for anyone with individual gaming desires, but also it does elevate tv play. Controllers respond very quickly and the graphics on the TV are out of this world!

Nintendo released a beast. This is an improvement over the switch in nearly every way. I was a late adopter to the switch ans often regretted it but i havent once regrettted this console. Its powerful, its fast, and its beautiful.

Nothing as a perfect console, but it gets four stars because they made the switch 2 bigger and for someone like me with big hands that is a godsend! I recommend it highly if you want it for handheld and on the go as cyberpunk 2077 plays pretty good in hand held. Now remember when I said there is no perfect console? The reason this doesn’t get a full five stars…Nintendo’s policy and the fact you need to update it before it even becomes backwards compatible.

... and while I am happy to have bought it, I admit that the true benefit of the upgrades are limited to a few games and far less spectacular than I hoped for. Sure, it's still a portable system and processing power relative to battery life are naturally limited. Some improvements (i.e., 4K support) require an external monitor anyway and with that to be plugged in. When on the run, the battery life is okay and not great. Nintendo sure have a hit on their hands, but it's by no means mandatory over the previous OLED version. (The larger screen is nice but makes it less portable and isn't OLED either. I do apprecciate the "true" black of the OLED which the Switch 2 doesn't have.)

This was a a birthday gift for my child in college. She is thrilled with it. She said it is better than the original and given how seldom she's messaging me, I have to believe it is everything she was hoping it would be. For those thinking of shipping it overseas, don't open the package as there will be less hassle at the post office as it is an electronic. However once we got over the hurdle of actually shipping it, it sailed over to Europe with no issues.

I’ve been loving the console so far. Great for traveling and just lounging around the house. I’ve had a lot of fun playing some of the third party AAA games. My only issue with playing FPS in handheld mode is the controller. You have to tweak the settings a bit to make it smoother since the sticks aren’t the best for those types of games. But there are good third party joycons you can buy which work great.

The console works as intended: a much better performing gaming and portable console with inproved graphics. Might be too early to test the Joycon durability, but still performs well. Internal memory is also has better capacity, even without the SD storage extension. Battery life its among its major downside: most games drain it very fast. Also, the fact that the SD cards that support games is only of a specific type and both very pricey and often not properly available or affordable at higher capacities, it does puta it a step behind its predecessor. Not necessarily worth the bug price tag. Hence, good to have, but only if you have the funds.

Works exactly as expected. Battery life could be better in hand held but still worth the amount paid. Worth it for Pokopia alone.

The console performs great! Handheld mode is awesome with games you can play on the go. The joy cons feel much nicer but I've heard its the same situation with drift so beware. Barely and exclusives that are worth playing at the moment.

Good system, better graphics and a little bigger but worth it.

Switching on the Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time felt like stepping out of a time machine. My last Nintendo system was the N64, so seeing how far they’ve come honestly surprised me. Back then, everything felt chunky, simple, and charming. Now? Nintendo has built a portable console that feels like it belongs in the same league as modern home systems while still keeping that unmistakable Nintendo soul. Coming from the N64 era, the Switch 2 feels like a massive evolution. Nintendo has grown up without losing its identity. They’ve built a system that respects physical media, embraces modern tech, and still delivers that unmistakable Nintendo fun.If you’ve been away from Nintendo for years like I was, this console feels like the perfect re‑entry point. It’s familiar, but completely new. Nostalgic, but modern. Simple, but surprisingly powerful.Nintendo really did come a long way and the Switch 2 proves it.

It’s basically a more powerful switch which is honestly what I bought it for as the original switch was in desperate need of an upgrade. The console and joy cons have a premium feel and look to them. The kickstand is metal and supports the switch well. The new joy cons are bigger and more comfortable in the hands, and the joy sticks are much smoother to move around than the switch 1. The magnetic joy con connections are very nice as the joy cons don’t wobble when connected to the switch and they just snap in place. The screen isn’t oled, but it’s about as vivid as the oled switch. I’ve noticed the screen does have slight motion blur compared to the regular switch but it doesn’t bother me that much. The speakers are much better than switch 1. I get about 2 hours of battery life when playing Breath of the Wild switch 2 edition. I do usually have the brightness on max, but I do wish the battery life was a little longer. There aren’t too many games that make it worth buying right now, but I’ve been enjoying the quicker load times, better graphics, and more responsive menus. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this console back in Feb 2026, back then the library was pretty limited however very quickly more and more titles have become available. This console is awesome, vivid display (better than Oled) and backwards compatible with all titles on the og switch some with even better performance

Traded in my old switch and got the switch 2, im so happy that i did. It was definitely worth the upgrade! The screen is so nice and it’s very light and easy to hold (i do have small hands) If you’ve been thinking about it, do it!

Just got my hands on the new console and wow, it's seriously a game-changer. The portability aspect is just incredible; I can take all my favorite games with me anywhere. The graphics are surprisingly sharp for something so compact. It's been so much fun exploring all the different titles available. Definitely a worthwhile investment for any gamer.
