Amazing Purchase I’m So Happy With My Nintendo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my Nintendo Switch at Best Buy and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The console works perfectly the screen looks beautiful, the colors are vibrant, and the whole system feels very smooth and fast. I’ve been enjoying my games so much, and the battery life has been really good too.

Nintendo got it right…except that battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Crisper and bigger screen, smooth play with no lagging, I’m enjoying the Switch 2. My only issue is with battery life…games run smoother but battery life is subpar.

The vital new switch we needed, but price is bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switch 2 was necessary. The original switch was just too old and outdated with its 2016 tech (based on Wii U hardware).....it is a breath of fresh air to have something that finally just runs far better looking games, can offer you the likes of FF7 Remake and Resident Evil Village that run natively on the hardware and will look amazing and play great. It's a bigger screen, better controllers, a refined experience, and with all the firmware updates we've had to date, pretty much all of the original Switch 1 library is fully compatible now (with very few exceptions left that anyone would care about). Even the beloved NieR: Automata finally is compatible with the latest firmware. That being said, this is by far the most boring new console from Nintendo of all time. There's not much at all that's significantly different from the experience you got on the previous switch. It feels more like Switch Pro than Switch 2. UI looks almost exactly the same, and works the same. And I'm beyond stunned that in 2025, the only two themes Nintendo still gives you are WHITE and BLACK......what is wrong with this company...... Overall, this system is really new and although switch 2's library has grown several pages worth on the eshop.....it's still a very new console and we've yet to see the best of what it can offer. One thing I thought I would hate, but I actually love is the new Micro SD Express cards. Even though they're temporarily rather expensive, they're not unaffordable and the speed is truly that huge gigantic leap in tech you want to see in a console. The speed is like never before on switch! Switch 1's regular micro sd cards (depending on the ones you bought) slowed down your experience greatly and made loading an absolutely chore. Micro SD Express have been a thrill to experience. Most everything runs and loads very fast. That makes a huge difference and truly makes this feel like a new console. Overall.......eh.....I think it's worth getting if you're a huge fan of switch, but the last criticism is the lack of OLED screen. Something tells me Nintendo will eventually make one, but the screen's quality took a step back from the previous switch OLED. But that price will turn off a lot of people. I expected $400 or more in this day and age with Biden inflation still a reality.....but $450 being the minimum price.....ugh.....bad look for Nintendo.

Great Console No Games
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what I thought the Switch 1 was supposed to be. Obviously don't buy AAA games on here if you own a PS5 or PC/Xbox as the quality is significantly weaker. But Screen is so much better than even the OLED Switch. However, the amount of games is so small

Great console for people on the go!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is absolutely perfect using on trips or having fun at home! I’ve had switch ones and switch lites and they’re all amazing but this one blows them out of the water. The only downside is that despite all the improvements over the previous model you still can’t get YouTube!

Worth the wait!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried so long to get my hands on this thing! The bots and scalpers held me back for too long. But after finally getting my hands on one, i can definitely say it is worth the wait and all the hype. The screen looks awesome, and the 4K 60fps and 120fps look amazing on TV mode. Already got a travel case and screen protector so im ready to take it with me everywhere lol plus all my older games run smooth as butter now. No more frame drops or lag :)

Absolutely love it, the best Nintendo console yet!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m completely blown away by the Nintendo Switch 2! Everything feels faster, smoother, and more immersive. The new screen is stunning, and the battery life is way better than I expected. It’s so easy to switch between handheld and docked play — it just works perfectly. I’ve been playing nonstop since I got it, and it’s easily my favorite console ever!

Cleaner graphics and game play
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system itself is really nice, clean game play and graphics. Downside is having to pay for the upgrade for games you already have, but that’s a Nintendo issue not a system one. The upgrades do make the games look nicer and run smoother. Transferring data from the Switch 1 was easy. I have not tested the mouse feature on the controllers yet.

Nintendo Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nintendo Switch 2 manages to improve upon almost everything that made the original Switch popular. The console retains the hybrid format that allows for gaming either handheld or connected to a TV, but now with much more power, better graphics, and a smoother experience.

Switch 2 is a darn good console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great console, only bad thing is the battery life. But over all the preformance is great and the game selection is genuinely peak. Considering it’s the cheapest next gen console out rn I reccomend it!

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t know why i took so long to pull the trigger on buying it. I have no regrets at all. If you are thinking about getting one, get it. I still play the ps5 pro, but its just something about the switch 2 that keeps me wanting to play on it. I am extremely happy to have both.

Nintendo took my money again.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it for Pokopia...need I say more? Yes?...well, okay fine - Upgraded from the original switch and right off the bat the controllers feel more solid in hand. The bigger screen is nice for my aging eyeballs. Haven't tried 4K gaming yet on the dock, as right now there aren't many titles worth playing that I can already play on PS5, but glad they finally have that option available. Overall, solid upgrade from the Switch 1, highly recommend.

Great if it won’t break the bank
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There’s been a lot of back and forth with people around the switch 2 and Nintendo. What I will say is that I love my switch 2. I love the size, the look, and the feel. What I would tell people is that it’s a great thing to have if you can buy one without putting yourself in financial stress. It’s worth it if you can throw away the money, but if it’s more than your regular budget, it might not be worth it at the time. But I do love mine and haven’t touched my switch 1 since purchase.
