Upgraded my original switch from 2017
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I still have my original switch but decided to upgrade due to the exclusives coming up soon. I am impressed with how sharp this one is, but I haven't tested it too much yet.

Building a great library.

Fantastic Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 is a wonderful console! I previously played on a Switch Lite and upgraded to this console. The graphics and load times are incredible in comparison. I play mostly cozy games and Pokemon. I haven’t had any wait time between scenes or entering/exiting buildings. This console is well worth it.

Excited

Huge upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical in the difference between the oled and the S2 but I was actually blown away at the sped difference in loading and graphics. The price point isn’t great for the amount of new gen games made for it but that will change over time. Great experience so far. Would recommend.

Better than the original.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it. The performance is a major improvement over the original Switch. The display is a clear quality, stable FPS, better resolution, and when he plays Fortnite it’s just as smooth as playing on an Xbox or PlayStation. The system also stays cool and quiet with no noticeable fan noise. The price tag is steep for a Nintendo console, but other than that it’s a well designed console and I feel good about the purchase. The new magnetized joycons are also a much better design choice.

Better than the first but battery life is terrible
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life is not great. Less than 2 hours of gameplay. Battery drains significantly fast while on sleep mode or not in use. But overall performance is a huge improvement than the first version.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Traded my Switch for a Switch 2. Haven't regretted it. I love my Switch2! The bigger screen is nice and I mainly use it for Pokopia for now, but plan on getting the online so I can play older games.

Worth the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this console is on the more expensive side but I genuinely think it's worth the price if you love Nintendo games and are already playing the original switch actively. I usually just have time to play a few hours a week due to work, and the performance boosts on all the games without having to buy the switch 2 packs make it worth it. I love playing Pokemon and I never got to finish legends Arceus 100% because I didn't have time to wait for pokemon to spawn in, then try to find the ones I need to finish the Pokedex. Since I got this console I've been able to finish the post game and get the pokemon I want without having to rely on guides on where they spawn. The frame rate and the pop in distance is vastly improved it feels like I'm playing a remaster on most of these titles, especially the games that are not Nintendo exclusive, and the more action packed and wide FOV games.

Switch 2 is a great upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's the second Switch, it's way better. Switch 1 is unplayable now, and I had the OLED. It's worth it in every way, even if you're just browsing the store. Games run better, the upgrades are worthwhile- very obvious for BOTW and TOTK and any other first party game for sure. The system is not particularly comfortable without the rubber protector/grip I got, and the lack of Youtube/Hulu app access on it is unfortunate. It still works on Switch 1, so it's annoying. Also, third-party support is lacking and concerning going into the future; 30 fps on Skyrim Switch 2 version is wild, Hogwarts upgrade still at 30 fps, Elden Ring delayed and nearly unplayable at the demos. Not a good look for a new console. But I am stoked I have it and I look forward to the inevitable Ocarina of Time remake and I would never go back to the S1.

Switch 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far had a lot of fun with the switch 2. I enjoy the bigger size, it does not make my hands go numb when using it for long periods in hand held mode. Battery life isnt the best but is still decent. Cant wait for more games to come out that take advantage of the newer features like the mouse mode for the joy cons.

A must buy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a worthy upgrade from my switch one, ignore the critics. If you have the extra money and you’re a Nintendo fan this is a must buy. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing my games in upscale graphics, a larger screen and a lineup to be impressed by. This is a go for sure.

What Nintendo does Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best Nintendo products made! They majorly improved upon first edition Switch! Bigger screen, better quality, higher fps, etc. Would recommend to anyone on the fence. It is a system that already has a great future selection of games. You will not regret it!

Great console
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Switch 2 console, great graphicss, games are amazing. My joy con 2 controllers last up to 25 hours (without HD rumble). The cons: The $450 price tag is a little expensive. The Game Key cards are not what consumers want, I am avoiding them at all costs.

A great successor to the Nintendo Switch!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great follow-up to the original Switch. Hand-held mode is very comfortable and runs great. The laeger size of the console helps with long playtimes. It’ll be great to see what other games come in the future, but it’s off to a great start!

Switching gears
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Switch 2 switched my perspective for the future by building on everything the original Switch did right while finally pushing past its limitations. The first Switch was honestly a game-changer—being able to play full console games on the go was huge, and it brought some of the best gaming experiences of the last decade. But it always felt like it was reaching its limit, with occasional performance dips, long load times, and hardware that couldn’t quite keep up with more demanding titles. The Switch 2 keeps that same magic but adds the power and polish the original was missing. Games run smoother, look better, and the whole system feels more responsive and future-ready. It doesn’t just continue what the Switch started—it levels it up in a way that makes me excited for where gaming is headed.
