Smoother gameplay, larger screen, 4k Zelda, and more third party games made this an easy decision. My only complaints would be the game cards not having the games on them on most third party and still needing a grip or third party joy cons for comfortable handheld play.

With a brighter and larger screen, even over the OLED Switch, the gaming experience is excellent.

A lot better than the first console

The resolution is even better in bandheld mode and when docked and playing on the tv. I still wish they would have used a oled screen instead of a led but the graphics and performance make up for that. Nintendo never disappoints. Great job!

He as well has the original and the OLED model and he now has been playing the Switch 2 for a few days and loves it as well. He’s mentioned that the controllers smoothly attach to the screen thing and it feels sturdier than the previous models. The screen is bigger and clearer which is a plus for him since he’s both near and far sided lol all in all he loves the new model. I’m not a gamer but it definitely seems like an upgrade from the previous version with the sturdy handle of the controllers to the screen bit
