This is the most convenient way to play your games. You can play at home on your big screen or you can play on the go on the actual console itself. It is also the only way to get Nintendo content (Mario, Zelda, etc.). This is a must have for any gamer. It doesn't matter if you preferred PC, PS4, or XBox1 previously. This is by far the most convenient way to game. It can be your portable console or it can be your do-it-all machine. Definitely a must buy for any gamer.

Personally, I have never been a big Nintendo fan though we did have a Nintendo U. From my experience, this is the best Nintendo gaming system ever developed. I do love the dual option of handheld or TV screen play. However, like with most gaming systems you end up needing a bunch of extra items that drive the cost up, not even counting the games. I have not tried playing with two controllers in the super controller holder which may make things better, but using the single small controller was difficult for me. The controller was too small for my hands and made them hurt. Probably not a problem for kids or adults with smaller hands. However, when the whole family plays we need all four controllers that we own so I have to use the little one or we have to purchase even more accessories.

This was hard to find, I had to check best buy's website daily until they came in stock...Covid even ruined video games!...This has been a great system for family games and entertainment in the living room. It can be portable, my wife has spent many hours playing in the car while I drive. Best bang for your buck if you want family entertainment or the ability to go portable.

The Nintendo Switch offers a great variety of games for such a new console, including some instant classics from Nintendo (Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon 2) and other developers (Rabbids Kingdom, Sonic Mania), and I look forward to playing Bethesda titles like Skyrim, Doom, and the new Wolfenstein 2 soon enough. While the console offers a pure gaming system (as Nintendo handhelds have always done), there is word that other multimedia capabilities are on their way (the likes of Netflix etc). The unit itself is a beautiful achievement in design. It's unusually lightweight for something that packs so much punch (great for extended play sessions), and the controllers (although small) are sturdy and offer a wide array of inputs to help control 3D and innovative games. One gripe I had is that you can't plug the unit into the stand to charge and play games off the screen, it has the screen blocked and must be connected to an HDMI display- you can charge and play, but you need to have the unit in handheld mode. Another gripe is that the only way to charge the controllers is by having them connected to the console. Each of these issues are easily fixed by purchasing accessories to help, and do not really affect the enjoyment of the Switch at all. 32GB of space already in the machine made it easy for me to purchase a game straight out of the box, ready to play. Expandable with micro SD cards means that adding more games is relatively cost-effective (much cheaper than Vita's proprietary memory cards, or having to buy new hard drives for other home consoles). Overall, the Switch is an excellent gaming machine for all kinds of gamers across a wide range of ages, and with Nintendo's best ever support for indie titles, there is a bright future ahead for the console and its owners.

honestly didn’t want to buy one but my husband convinced me to get one and i love it. i love that it’s portable and how you can also connect it to the tv. we switch from my parents house and our house very often and it’s super convenient because you don’t have to bring so many things with you. it’s lightweight and doesn’t require too much to connect to the tv. i probably play it more than my child does

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 grown-up daughters. Heard them talk a lot about it. Concerned at first coz it might be like one of those games that I bought them that they will use for couple of weeks and will just be collecting dusts after. But not this one, in fact my oldest bought her own, and continue to play it. I like the portability feature or use it as a home console system.

Bought for son, then bought Zelda for myself and that sold it for me...the ability to take the game everywhere on the tablet or play on the big screen is genius. Wanna play two player ? Just push a button on the back of the controller to unlock it from the game pad and each player gets a half ! Only complaint and it’s super minor is the 2 hour battery life if you’re playing on the tablet so long car rides will require a separate charger for the car but that’s it

I got this to play games while I was not at home. The build quality is great and the vast selection of games available for the console is great! Only issue is that in portable mode the console is a litfle thin and I have big hands so, they would cramp up after I little while using it. (Had to try all sorts of ways of holding it before it became comfortable. Other than that its great!

I've always loved Nintendo products, but they've really outdone themselves with the Switch. The hybrid nature of the console makes it conducive to both long sessions on the couch, but also short bursts of play on the go. While admittedly the line up of games at launch was pretty sparse, the Switch library is quickly expanding, including many games that are strong contenders for GOTY. I would definitely recommend the Switch to just about anyone who loves gaming.

I always wait a year or 2 for new consoles to allow a healthy selection of games. The advantage to Nintendo is there are exclusives that are high quality. This is not my only console, but I get and enjoy every Nintendo console (including Wii U) and the entire family and all my friends enjoy. Surprisingly I find myself split 50/50 on the docked and handheld mode. It's a more useful feature than I anticipated.

I bought this to entertain myself during quarantine. I love it! The ability to switch between TV to handheld is something that I never knew I needed in a gaming console. It helps avoid eyestrain. The battery life is amazing too. I heard about the joy-con drifting and so far haven't experienced any issues regarding this. The joy-cons have also been surprisingly resilient against scratches.

Got it for my husband as Christmas present he hasn’t put it down. The graphics we both agree are impeccable. We both had nintendo 64s as kids and its be a blast feeling like we’re playing that again. Mario kart is a must for multiplayers and individual he’s loved all the Pokémon games. The packaging makes it even more of a “well worth the money spent” experience as well.

Love the Switch! Can play online, can party up and play with friends online or in the living room. Like the functionality of being able to play on the go. Definitely Nintendo's best console ever made. You have to get one of these if you're a gaming enthusiast!

It took me 5 months to find one and it was WORTH THE SEARCH!!! Every game looks amazing and plays great. Highly recommend any Super Mario game on this console. It’s probably the most innovative piece of technology I’ve ever owned even compared to my PS5 simply because it’s a console, a hand held, and the remote can be split into to two to play local multiplayer. Amazing!!!
