My son had wanted this Switch game system for about 6 months before we purchased it for him. You would have thought we had given him King Arthur's sword. He love's this game system. It is easy to learn how to use, has a charge station, it's own screen or you can hook it up to play on your TV. It has plenty of great games to buy and it was a great buy!

My kids love to play all the time with this. I think nintendo has a new better console than others but the price it is very expensive but it is good

Had an older switch This switch has an upgraded battery as well as a brighter screen. I was able to notice this by my own eyes.

One of the best gaming options in many years. Easy to take on the go, simple to setup for a TV experience, and some of the best games on the market. Would be nice if Nintendo were to provide a more beefy model, but the current generation is perfect for what it does.

The Switch is fantastic! It's awesome to be able to take it outside the house to continue playing whenever I want. The build quality is quite good for a $300 console (I mean, come on, to get a cell phone with similar hardware you'd probably have to pay at least $600). The screen looks great! And since it's 720p, it doesn't put undue strain on the battery or GPU just to make individual pixels even more impossible to discern. Anybody who says that you need a screen this size at anything greater than 720p is either lying or misguided. (Sure, phones can benefit from the higher resolution a bit more because it makes text much clearer, but even then 1080p isn't really worth the additional battery drain.) I've had no issues with the left JoyCon disconnecting, and I got it with the Switch at launch day on March 3. Also, since the JoyCon work with computers via bluetooth (I've connected mine to both a Windows 10 and an Ubuntu 16.10 computer), you get two controllers perfectly capable of playing games on your computer (assuming the game allows you to use a controller, of course)! The game library started off relatively spartan, but even after only a month the eShop has a bunch more games. What with Breath of the Wild looking like it'll last me well over 100 hours, I'm sure that by the time I'm ready to play other games, I'll not be disappointed by the choices available.

The Nintendo Switch is an awesome take on a classic Nintendo console and has all the features you want in a game console - and its portable too. The Joy-Cons can be a little difficult to get used to and are difficult to get on and off the sides of the screen at times. Overall a great concept.

Fantastic, flexible, high quality console. It doesn't feel cheaply manufactured (like our Lite). Can't say enough great things about the console, so I won't overload the review with them. If you want portable machine on which to play games or to sit at home in front of your TV, this is it!
