The Nintendo Switch is an awesome, versatile system. You can play it three ways: Docked (picture on TV), handheld (joy-cons next to the screen), or in tabletop mode (screen on the table with the built-in kick-stand; joy-cons or controllers in your hands). In docked mode, you get 1080P video. In the other two modes, you get 720P (or sometimes 540P, with a small number of games). The joy-cons can be used in numerous orientations. Switch games are sometimes more expensive than other systems when you purchase the game physically (what they call the "Switch tax"), but there are sales on digital games in the eshop practically every week. Highly recommended.

It is so nice to have a console that provides more games for multiple users instead of single player or only online multiplayer. The controller is to small for me so I bought a regular controller. Unlike other consoles though no games are included but has two controllers to start with.

I bought this for my fiance but to be honest I use it just as much as he does. Its a fantastic console. My only problem is I don't like how expensive it is to buy additional joycons... I kind of think its a rip off and you're better off buying the classic style controllers for cheaper. Other than that every single game we have gotten is amazingly fun and the picture quality is amazing.

I bought the Switch mainly because of the handheld capabilities, being able to play great looking games on the go, or in bed. The screen is a bit small for multiple people to crowd around, but it's not terrible. Battery life is pretty decent. The individual controllers can feel rather small in your hands.

Best system for younger kids and adults alike. Games are appropriate for kids

I was lucky enough to be on bestbuy.com for the 5 minutes it was available. I bought it immediately. got it for my kids but after they go to bed i end up playing all night. Mario Odyssey is a phenomenal game , Luigis mansion is excellent but hard and can be spooky for younger kids. Mario Party is a must for family fun. Strongly recommend a memory card and an extra set of remotes

This was purchased for my son, He love the system and being able to switch from the console to the hand held.
